I was wondering what one might look for in a womans chart to show the possible birth of twins? I know that Belgz had posted about pregnancy and the solar return and made me think about gender and twins. any thoughts on what to look for? Mercury , Gemini ? IP: Logged |

This is an interesting question and not one i know the answer to, but this is astrology and so there HAS to be a logical explanation somewhere lol.I know gemini is the sign of twins so that would be involving possibly the third house aswell? If someone had the moon in the third house and this recieved a progressed aspect/transit from either jupiter or ceres (which is more a sign of pregnancy than jupiter according to some astrologers)could this indicate twins I wonder? I know that I am trying to get pregnant and know that twins run in my family history on both sides. after reading the post about pregancy and the solar return my aspects look positive! (YEAH) So, wondering if I may possibly have twins and what to look for. Thanks for the info will look into it! I have jupiter ( ruler of my ninth) and mercury ( ruler of my third) conjunct in the 5th. and conj natal ceres.
and ruler of fith( my sun) in the 4th.
moon ruler of my 4th conjunct Child aspecting ceres in the third. Oddly My SR jupiter is also conjunct the name I would pick if I had a girl. IP: Logged |

I have a real life example!it is of my Mom when she gave birth to me and my twin! 
Note that Merc,natural ruler of Gem and Virgo(our sun sign)was cj her ASC and Kiron.
Nept ruler of her 6th cj her IC tr ceres passing her 5th,trine her Moon Tr Uranus/jup transiting her 3rd - sudden changes but lucky ones in her surroundings...opose kiron so there was a bit of pain there too. tr moon in 8th...isnt 8th standing also for given birht? tr NN adn Vesta cj the Moon..naturally! karma cj fortuna  and mars cj Pluto must be showing some hurry to transformation...indeed came out lot sooner than expected! we were born with 6.50 months. Well I have twin boys, who also happen to be gemini's BTW.I'll post my chart and you can compare.

i read recently that mercury in the 5th or a sign with dual rulership on the cusp of the 5th shows a predisposition to twins.Diandra...you mom has mercury and mars in the 5th. mars opp pluto, (mars is making a lot of contact in her chart) and her mercury is trine her moon, which happens to be in gemini the "sign of twins" my biological father is a twin. i have his chart. i'm going to put it up later. he didn't have any twins though.

The one major transit I remember off the top of my head is pluto transiting the 5th. 5th cusp is sag, jupiter in cap in the 5th.IP: Logged |
