I'm having the the hardest time deciding on which vocation I should choose.....I love acting, but then I also want to be financially well off! IDK WHAT TO DO FOLLOW MY HEART OR MY HEAD? What vocation does my chart suggest?

looking at saturn (practical, predictable secure) in H8 (mysterious, getting to the bottom of things, intimate) ruling your midheaven, disposited by jupiter(expansion, over the top, no boundaries) in H12 (illusion, dreams, film, television). jupiter is disposited by mars (aggression, determination, physical activity) in conjunct with your moon in H3 (communication, selling an idea, getting your point across).i'm thinking the movie/film/television industry is definitely for you. but something more predictable and concrete is what will really make you happy. you can't escape saturn ruling your ascendant. i'm thinking writing or production. with that aries rising, you definitely want to be up front. also, sun in H8, self expression through valuing your self... documentaries

I have heard of it. My exgf bought the book,and she couldn't understand any of it. He writes like he writes books for people with college master's degrees and up ------------------

electric, I have that book and it is currently in my spring clean up "discard" pile...very interesting but its a process that can go on FOREVER I feel like...definitely worth trying though. My extension process went on for like 5 planets or something lol. Actually, something I've found to be quite telling in career is one's Industria, Enterprise, and Vesta. In all the chart's I've plugged them into they seem to point to one's work situation by house, sign, and aspect. Industria seems to point to the kind of environment you work in (i.e. in the 11th, with a group or organization of some sort, in the 12th working alone, etc), Enterprise seems to be what you set out to pursue career wise (my dad, an architect, has his in the 4th for example) and Vesta seems to be what your work is ultimately about for you (feels a little more personal to me, i.e. you may have set out to be a designer but with a Vesta in the 7th may find your work ends up being more about the partner you end up working with)...this is just from my personal observations so I could be off...if anyone wants to try looking at their own charts and letting me know what they observe I'd love that!IP: Logged |

starborgi.ok trying now. industria in capricorn in first house conjunct mercury both are square my midheaven and trine chiron. have no clue what this means as far as what type of work environment... i guess somehow speaking or communicating(merc) to heal(Chiron) the public (MC) enterprise (in aries) is in my third house. its in a loose conjunction to my moon and exactly square my venus. again this is communicating somehow. with the aspect to venus it makes it artistic as well as with the moon. so some type of artistic communication. vesta is in gemeni in my 5 house in an pretty exact conjunction to the 6th house cusp which happens to be where my NN is. again, communications or speaking 5th house adds the artistic element again. eta: i'm gonna check other peoples charts very interesting. i am a singer songwriter. I think it works! Industria in the first to me is about using YOU as your career, do you often work alone or with others? The Merc conjunction seems to confirm the "writing" element and the Cap would re-infornce the entrepreneurial quality of using your own self as your work. I think you are right on with the Enterprise point, again in Aries I feel like its re-inforcing a leader/self reliant quality in your work. I have Vesta in the 5th too! Certainly art but also the entertainment quality. I wonder about the NN connection again in terms of working with others...? I also wonder about the Chiron/MC connection...do you perform? 12th house is also the house associated with institutions like hospitals,prisons, and even the military. It is also house associated with spirituality,mystical. Maurice Fernandez seems that 12th house has to do with career in regards to one's calling. Objects located in the 12th might be involved with that. He also believes the placement of Neptune and where Pisces is located also is involved. He is an Evolutionary Astrologer that focuses on Neptune as the evolutionary focus planet unlike Jeffrey Wolf Green who uses Pluto.
When you have strong personal contacts to the heliocentric nodes of planets, and even the transneptunian dwarf planets, candidates (including Pluto), it could indicate that you have significant life purpose.
