You know, I know this is slightly off-topic but I think the 7th house and love issues is NOT all it's cracked up to be. Some say it's the end all be all house for love matters but I beg to differ (humbly). For some people, the 7th house may be in disharmonius aspect to their Sun sign and it's Ruler. This is my case. Pisces is on my 7th house cusp and so, it squares my Sun sign Gemini. I've had experience with Pisces Sun exactly square my Sun and Mercury, and I've had experience with Pisces Moon sqaure my Sun and Mercury by sign. Neither was pretty. So for romantic relationships, I DO NOT like Pisces planets anywhere near my Sun and Mercury within orb. Now with that said, I will admit I'm attracted to Piscean women like no other. I don't know why though. They are very mysterious to me. I can recognize them almost all the time after a few words. But in relationships, they are no good for me unless other aspects balance the square out. Ironically, my best friend of almost 20 years is a Pisces. No problems there. ------------------ Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚ Gemini Sun 24˚ Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house) Gemini Mercury 25˚ Cancer Venus 29˚ (Mutual reception with Moon) And yes, i'm a guy! Got Gemini,Good points aspects matter too I have Pisces Descendant. My Moon is in Pisces too. I am not crazy about Pisces Planets conjuncting my Moon because they aggravate my t-square. I have Moon square the opposition of retrograde Saturn and Jupiter-Neptune. If you add the big transneptunian objects. I have Moon square the opposition of Saturn-Varuna and Neptune. Moon square Varuna is only 10 minutes of arc. If a person's Pisces planet, angle conjunct my Moon less than half a degree, it will be squaring my Varuna. I don't think they would want a transneptunian object like that squaring their Pisces planet, angle. It can be way too intense for them. ------------------ Raymond Supporting the Neurodiversity Movement A Different Mind Is Not A Deficient Mind. http://people.tribe.net/4b0cf8c4-1fc3-4171-92d3-b0915985bf95/blog IP: Logged |

Ruler of the 7th house in the 1st house You may be under the influence of the partner. You tend to follow and submit to the other, the partner. The danger is to become totally dependant. Love at first sight and sudden encounters/attractions influence one's life. The partner brings you in motion and is the force that drives you.In the long run, relationships tend to be deceptive. The love relationship tends to evolve into a relationship full of disputes. Sounds half right. Love at first sight and sudden encounters/attractions do influence me because I'm impulsive. I just act upon them.
I also have Neptune conjunct Venus, which is the same: deceptive loves. It's kind of relative, but to be honest, I don't think it's an accurate description of a 7th house ruler in the 1st house. It doesn't feel right. ------------------ Official Conor's Feeding Machine! IP: Logged |

Gemini--I have had different experiences myselfI have 10th house Gemini Sun cj. Mercury squaring my 7th house Pisces. I love it in synastry when a guy's Pisces' placement are conjunct my moon. It does tend to crate a lot of nervous energy at first but that's ok, generally speaking. My Sun and moon are part of t-sqaure with pluto, with my Sun as the apex, and my mercury is part of an air grand trine. So that nervous energy can be channeled. My problem is if the attraction is unrequited. Then there's a problem because of all the Pisces moon energy that is being activation by the guy's Pisces contact, wants to express it self to that guy. And if he's not interested, it's like that energy just spills over and drowns me. IP: Logged |

Ruler of the 7th house in the 6th house- In relationships, you tend to be careful and rather submissive. You may be shy and need a friendly environment. You can't stand conflicts and feel easily rejected or neglected. You pay attention to the details and your partner has to be neat. Your partner may have a weak health and you may encounter him or her in your working environment. I am never careful, shy, or submissive. Yes, I have met many people at work. And, when they say, "weak health?" I wonder if that could mean mental issues, because if so, then a big, huge, YES.

Lol. This is so not true for me. I tend to be the dominating one in a relationship. I'm far from impulsive and dependent. IP: Logged |

I completely agree. For the longest time I was wondering why I don't get along on alot of other Cancer Men, and why my relationship with my Cancer father is so bloody awful and unsupportive. Well it's precisely because their suns and other personal planets we're falling in my 7th house- I was experiencing the 'Open Enemy/Hostility' aspect of this house with them. Once I started meeting other Cancers who's suns and personal planets we're falling in my 6th house I immediately noticed the difference, and it is such a relief even though I have a 7th house sun..LOL.

true raspyberribut i wonder about that a lot. if they just used mars as the ruler becuase they didnt know about pluto yet or if it really is. and the discription then would be ruler of the 7th in the 6th too. i cant difrinciate that with my virgo moon and my sun, merc and mars in the 6th. (dont mind the spelling, im horrible at it) and from my observations.. the aries that i know 2 in particular that are twins with aries sun, moon, merc and venus are very competative, talk a lot at the million miles per hour, very satirical, and argue alot but they get over it and really open about a lot of things. now.. take another friend who is a scorpio with pluto conjunct her sun at a 0 degree orb and she only has scorpio/capricorn and one cancer. she depicts everything about scorpio/pluto to the tee. its crazy. so when i think of scorpio i definitaly think of pluto. whenever you have really strong aspects like that with pluto and then read about scorpio.. its completely magnified. but then again.. ive read another thing where the planets represent the yin and yang or positive negative traits of itself. but that might have been a good explanation to explain the planets becuase they hadnt discovered the outer ones yet.. For my boyfriend:Ruler of the 7th house in the 10th house- You need more mature partners and in case you are a woman, chances are there is a HUGE age difference with your partner. Also, your partner has to be a person of importance, someone who climbed the ladder and has a decent position you can look up to. Status and prominence attract you. Relationships have something conventional, traditional and may be rather "boring." You need a partner to bring order and structure to your chaotic mind or life. He really didn't get what he bargained for, did he? I'm jobless, hardly classy or popular, and have no status. I actually don't even like social status and I'm pretty much socially inept. Thanks to my foot-in-mouth sagittarius mercury (which happens to be my 7th house ruler and is in 1st, conjunct my rising, by the way). I can hardly bring structure and order to anything. I don't like structure and order. Well, my Capricorn mars does, but it's overrun by my pretty chaotic planets in sagittarius, with uranus leading the bunch. Anyway, one thing is right though: I am more mature than him sometimes, and there is quite a big age difference between the two of us. ------------------ Official Conor's Feeding Machine! quote: My seventh house ruler is neptune ....I put people on a pedestal and worship them...it terrifies most guys but I doubt that's gonna change..my neptune is in the 4th house in capricorn.....im very much attracted to the capricorn type guy probably because my moon is in capricorn aswell....neptune blinds me in my love life, although it makes romance so magical!
This is exactly like me. Neptune is my 7th house ruler, and it's in the 4th house (Thanks, Lonake ), in Sagittarius. And I have Moon in Sagittarius. Although I'm Gemini, Sagittarius is my most compatible sign. Oddly, I'm not drawn to them sexually/romantically...'cept for the onces with a Gemini Moon, and I can't stand a Gemini moon under other sun signs. But that combo = heat. IP: Logged |

Nine, what about traditional ruler of Pisces, Jupiter what house is that placed in. Traditional 7th house ruler might give some insight too Mine just repeats thoughs because both my traditional and modern 7th house ruler are in 3rd house, but Jupiter 3 degrees from being in the 4th house, and so I can also relate to Jupiter in 4th house. I have Pisces Descendant like you. ------------------ Raymond Supporting the Neurodiversity Movement A Different Mind Is Not A Deficient Mind. http://people.tribe.net/4b0cf8c4-1fc3-4171-92d3-b0915985bf95/blog IP: Logged |

Gypsee, I totally agree with you! I have my 7th house ruler in the 6th by Placidus (5th in Koch which actually makes more sense lol) and I am not submissive in relationships. I don't know what 'needing a friendly environment' even means in this case. Like opposed to what, a hostile one?! I think having Pluto in the 6th for me means I am tirelessly always ready to work on relationships and often have to trust that my other will also contribute, instead of being such a relationship workaholic lol. Also, I think these meanings can be altered if you have other planets in the 7th. I think GG is also right as well about the 7th house. Mostly my Neptune in the 7th house defines a lot of my relationships. Or has in the past. Now I am a lot more aware of it and realize that who I am with is human and realize that I too need the same mercy when I make mistakes in relationships. IP: Logged |

Oy! MVM, relationship workaholic! You have me nailed there! I never thought of it that way, makes alot of sense!I have Neptune in the 7th too (oh yay) as well as Mercury, both in Scorpio, I should add. I'm always wanting to talk, talk, talk, about whatever "it" (the problem) may be. My Ex Scorpio bf said it was exhausting. LOL! I just wanted to fix it!! IP: Logged |

Gypsee, I am so glad you can relate! From what I remember you have several planets in the 6th? The 6th house tends to be compulsive, so I sometimes feel planets in there will express themselves compulsively, in that Virgoan I-will-keep-erasing-what-I-draw-until-the-paper-falls-apart kinda way. It's often good to have someone who will show a lot of appreciation for the natural efforts you make, and yet who also stabilizes by reminding you that they are present. Not too many of those types around usually though. I also call Neptune in the 7th the Relationship Social Worker position. So, compulsive workaholic relationship social worker...yay!!!! Imagine that 7th house ruler being Pluto and being squared exactly by Pluto. Now that's a nonstop clean-up campaign lol.

"Ruler of the 7th house in the 2nd house- The 2nd house is the most stable house of the zodiac. The ruler of the house of relationships in this fixed house is often about stalemate and situations about eternal longings. You may be stuck in love and cannot get out of it. Relationships should be stable and if no relationship is possible, stability is found in material gain and possessions. Relationships tend to influence one's self-worth enormously. Relationships may develop slowly and with difficulty. It's not always the partner you're dreaming of that you will marry! Often, the partner is involved in one's business (love relationships and business go hand in hand)." Very mych of this is true in my case (my 7th house ruler Uranus is in the 2nd house). HOWEVER, I find no consolation in material things whatsoever. I am so bored to hear about the material side always attached to the 2nd house - the 2nd house can also represent STRONG VALUES and PRINCIPLES, SELF WORTH. Maybe in my case also the planet itself (freedom loving Uranus) works against the material side of the house... Anyway, my man is Aquarius. ~ Lana IP: Logged |

I was thinking about this moments after my last reply. Shouldn't the natural ruler on the 7th be taken into consideration?? But that would be Venus and she's been given much credit there already. Don't see how she can figure more strongly. My Venus is in Taurus in the 9th house, once more pointing to a Sagittarius influence. I'm definitely drawn to people from a culture different from my native one. But I attract to myself either older types, or the illegally young. quote: I have Pisces Descendant like you.
Cool. This is kinda off topic, but do a lot of people with pMoon in Virgo come into your life? IP: Logged |
