Anyone out there have their natal sun conjunct pluto? If so in what sign? How does this energy affect your life? How people respond to you? I have sun conjunct pluto in scorpio and people, when they meet me first usually think I hate them! I dind this energy very hard to deal with sometimes...I'm extremely obsessive/posessive/stubborn etc...my mercury conjunct pluto probably dosen't help either lol.....or the fact that both conjunctions take place in scorpio.....maybe I should book myself in for therapy!! Anyone else with sun conjunct pluto?

This is the same for any strong Pluto.

Mine's angular and aspecting almost everything, I tend to get intense reactions as well, both positive and negative.

Interestingly I'm surprised @ the lack of intensity I sense in the Pluto Scorpio generation as a whole. I was pretty surprised.

But then for any Pluto to be strong it has to be angular, in major aspect, etc.

Expecting a whole Pluto in Scorpio generation to be influence is like expecting whole Ixion in Scorpio and whole Quaoar in Scorpio generations in the 70's to be intense too.

Ixion and Quaoar are transneptunian dwarf planets candidates, and they were conjunct in Scorpio in the 1970's

Ixion is also a plutino with it having 3:2 orbital resonance with Neptune, and so it orbits like Pluto. It's orbit is only a few years apart.

I was born in 1970's,and
I have Sun-Ixion-Quaoar conjunction trine Moon.

Having Ixion and Quaoar in Scorpio would not indicate my intensity. Having Sun and Moon in aspect to those objects would.

My Sun is conjunct Ixion with only 5 minutes of arc. That's a cazimi (in the heart of the Sun). It's a major life theme. That is like having Sun conjunct Pluto with its very similar orbit which led to its name after an underworld character in mythology.

I think of Sun of aspecting transneptunian object is mainly about an evolutionary intensified ego, vitality, self expression.

I definitely had evolutionary intensified lessons/experiences involving things ruled by the Sun.

Raymond,

I have different experiences with this, as I've noticed many commonalities amongst other Pluto generations, again the stronger the personal Pluto, the more these traits stand out to me.

the same could be said for people born in the 1970's too with Ixion-Quaoar in Scorpio generations

Well, hello there, Angel, my twin! LOL!

"people, when they meet me first usually think I hate them! I dind this energy very hard to deal with sometimes...I'm extremely obsessive/posessive/stubborn etc."

I am Sun/Pluto/Uranus conj in Virgo. I also have issues with authorities, to add to what you said and I ve been called a bully too. I have to stop myself continuously from biting people's heads off on a regular basis and so on.

I have Pluto conjunct MC. I don't feel a connection with this aspect.
Maybe, it has not been expressed ,yet.
All my aspects to Pluto are easy(Thank Goodness )
I empathize with how hard it would be to have hard Pluto aspects cuz when Pluto transited it blew up my life!

my venus is conjunct pluto. but my friend has her sun conjunct pluto by 0 degrees and her mercury too. shes pretty much the same way. shes pretty intense and really moody. o yeah and the conjunctions are in scorpio. but she gets super obsession and dwells all the time. she gets pretty crazy at times. i think a lot of the time people think she doesnt like them or shes just too intense to handle. they either like her alot or hate her. if she wants something shell do anything to get it

i have sun/pluto conj with a 15' orb, so pretty close!! it has taken me many many years to absorb some of the lessons, and STILL i get the bit between my teeth at times...obsessive, yes, for sure, but i go so far with something and suddenly it doesn't faze me anymore. perhaps i am lucky to have aqua rising and so a little more detachment than a lot of plutonian people, but i have had to endure a lot of losses in relationships, and power struggles too...my MC is scorpio so i do tend to attract plutonian people. i can also be quite manipulative, but then with so many pluto folk in my life it has been a preferable way to deal with them than head-on steamroller conflicts.

i have learned to forgive and let go, though, from sheer necessity. i think sun pluto people have an innate intensity that can make us very hard to deal with for others who are not so inclined. hopefully i have learned a few of my lessons..

I have Sun, Mars, Mercury in house 1 (in Aquarius) and Pluto in house 8 (in Libra)

I have Sun trine Pluto, Mars trine Pluto, Mercury trine Pluto, Sun conjunct Mars.

I did not know that Sun trine Pluto was difficult to deal with. But many people have told me that I'm very intense, passionate, difficult, stubborn.

I know I can be obsessive but as for possessiveness, I've only ever been possessive about one person in my life with whom I have Pluto synastry aspects.

I really want to know how this energy can be channelled positively and how I can come across as calm cool n at peace with the world, instead of angry n intense.

Any advice anyone can offer would be great.

I've also been told that the focus is always me and that I'm not understanding of the other person and their situation. It's always all about me.

My roommate is a Libra Sun conjunct Pluto. She's a short Greek. She doesn't come across as if she hates you at all. Generally, she's pretty friendly all around.

That Sun/Pluto aspect comes out in odd ways to me (when in reference to her). At times she's unnecessarily secretive. She once practically asked me to leave when she was having a conversation with MY friend. That was crazy, but she figured out her bizarre rudeness fairly quickly.

I have Moon conjunct Pluto in Libra, so her and I are probably similar in ways.

EDIT: Oh... I didn't read your article, but if I had to choose between minimalist or megalomaniac I think I'd go with megalomaniac. I tend to think that she overestimates herself at times, and I'm always quite shocked by it.

Sun conjunct Pluto here in Libra, 1st house and I'm both a minimalist and a Megalomaniac... either that or I just can't decide between the two lol
I have Mercury and Uranus in Scorpio too so maybe that adds more airyness to my Pluto

People either really like or dislike me when we first meet. You will get better with age... All that personal power must take a while to balance and manage.

ha ha. Love this! I have Sun conj ASC & Pluto in Libra, Moon conj Venus in Scorpio and Mars in 8th. This was all a bit much when I was younger but things have definitely mellowed over time & it becomes easier to direct all that energy. I try to pour that intensity into my vocation/work and not inter-personally so much. No one likes to be X-rayed! ;}

People will always notice you and usually have very gut level reactions. Just animal instinct I suppose. Have been accused more than once of being pretty self absorbed or overbearing at times (big 1st house stellium) but I also have a lot of *friendly* aspects like Jupiter and Neptune trines/sextile which helps soften things. As far as relating, I can be aloof/Aquarian - ish which I think helps to offset the possessive/obsessive stuff.(Mercury/Conjunct Uranus in Libra also in 1st house.) I'm pretty obsessive about whatever passions I throw myself into for sure and I try to keep productive - all that energy has to go somewhere!
Being in the first house, I have gone through many radical life changes (and health flux too) and people often comment that my appearance changes so much over the years that they don't even recognize me.
I've had a lot of dramatic things happen but there is a toughness or resilience too. Saturn squares the whole Sun/ASC/Pluto conjunction so while I have strong energy and stamina, there is also a draining fatigue type effect and that has been with me throughout my life.

Woops - did not see the meg/mini part. I would say more mega when younger, more mini now. I wear a lotta black & gray. If going outside, I always want my shades. Drive a very non-descript ride w/ no identifying features (vanity plates/ stickers, etc.) I love leather jackets & boots! As I get older, I want less and less possessions and more liquid assets.
As what Faith said: I too seem to have very focused likes/dislikes and do repeat a lot what I wear, eat, etc.

Interesting...

My oldest son has sun-Pluto in Sag with Mercury in Scorpio. I'd say he's a minimalist: he has few material interests apart from Legos, collectibles, and basic drawing tools. He reads library books all the time but has no attachment to books.

He likes the same kind of clothes every day, he'd wear a gray sweatshirt and jeans forever, and he likes the same meals over and over.

He's not a megalomaniac, but he does have a bit of a superiority complex sometimes. He's confident, articulate, and logical. If you're not, he might laugh at you.

So true for me as well! I always end up knowing things about people, hidden type of stuff, whether I want to know or not! And I also noticed that people are intimidated by me...and not in a good way.

i have natal sun conjunct pluto at 2 degrees. it makes me very intense, very secretive, and extremely driven/motivated to get what i want. people generally dislike me at first - i have sun c. pluto and also scorpio rising, so that gives off a negative/probing vibe to many. i'm definitely more the minimalist - i can do without and sometimes do that just to see how strong my own willpower is. in my experience this aspect tends to come out for me in terms of work - it's in the 10th house, so i'm completely driven to be successful at work

My younglin is a Cap Sun/mercury/Pluto in the 10th house. Although still quite young, this child is incredibly strong willed and determined. The energy level is high, especially when feeling upset or frustrated. He has Pisces rising and Moon, moon is also on the Asc. He is very timid amongst large groups or strangers, but out in full force and confidence once he is comfortable.

He doesn't give up or give in without a struggle, and the stubbornness can be exhausting. I suspect he is going to grow up to be a very powerful man of confidence, a daredevil who challenges tests with a very strong will.

I have an older Scorpionic child, Scorpio Asc, Pluto in the first, Sun/Venus in the 8th. She is intense also but never on the level of my Sun/Pluto child. She is also quite mellow in accord to her cheery air sun and not especially stubborn. I'm wondering if Mars makes a difference due to being the traditional ruler of Scorpio? My son has Mars in Leo while hers is in Virgo.

one of my mates has sun at 0° conj pluto by 2 deg in third house scorpio, as part of a stellium.

we were talking about how our generation feels being scrutinized by big bro(which worsened after the riots allowing new liberty stripping internet laws etc.)
and just to prove a point, a few weeks later, a week or so before her birthday, finds herself being "papped" really clearly by google 'maps' coming out her house. you can literally see what brand of handbag she's carrying ffs!
microcosm of a macrocosm. t sat also on her sun bringin the irony and/or just making a point. pretty funny tho.
