hi,.. i have a q about axis(es) ..usually the 1h/7h is what is looked at the most in synastry but reading back some old threads seems like the other axis 4h/10h might be more relevant.. especially in conjunction with the nodes. in yr experience u ve had more connection /lasting relshp with asc/dsc activity or rather mc/ic ? My ex boyfriend had his north node exactly conjunct my descendant in pisces. We were only together about 6 weeks...However I feel he taught me a lot about relationships...he was sent into my life to teach me lessons...Ive never had anyone's nodal axis lined up with my ic/mc so on that score I just can't comment.IP: Logged |

I have never been in a relationship with asc/dsc, but ive had 2 with mc/ic. I would not say that one is better than the other, I just haven't dated anyone with their asc conjunct my dsc. In fact, I only know one person who has this with me but he's my boyfriend's best friend lol so Im not going to be dating him any time soon.IP: Logged |

Personally I'm not fond of nodal axis conj Mc or Asc. To me it feels like a ball and chain, so heavy with responsibility, draining.IP: Logged |

Me and my bf have opposed ACs, and I've always felt that we are kinda like complementary opposites in some ways, like we are opposites in certain things, yet still similar in many things. I would think that this aspects shows that we both sees each other as partners naturally (but then there are some other things that shows this in the synastry and composite too).
Our MCs are in opposed signs, but too wide to be an opposition. But even so, I can still feel this. It kinda feels like home with him, and we share a bit of opposite but similar views about home/career.I have the MC opposition with a friend of mine thought, and I guess that it would feel the same as I've mentioned above, but stronger, although I've never really been close enough to see its potential. i have nodal conj with a LOT of people in my life. kids, parents, husband and friends a like. there isn't much info out there on it, but it seems significant somehow.me - him

---25 Aries my Mc, whoo I like these people, male or female I love their energy and they give me something to aim for, although they don't know it, but I always want to steal their traits from em, or emulate something about what they're about. They're great and I love em, any point/planet that hits here. We get so high energy together, it's exhilirating.
---2 Leo my Asc, ahhk, it's hit or miss, I don't like the fact that I stand out so much to them, I wish I could slip by sorta under the radar. With Mars I love the energy we generate together, with the rest of the placements I could take em or leave em, but the Moons that conj my Asc I find so adorable. But the energy in general, is not comforting, with Leo somehow I feel pressured or act/perform a certain way, it's a burden.
---25 Libra my Ic, conj's here, it's funny with so many of them, esp. the ones who put stelliums here in my h4, there are a lot of similarities in our family backgrounds, how we grew up, certain types of relatives we had, personalities of our grandparents, it's really funny. Some times i feel like they cling to me a bit, but there is definitely a home like atmosphere here.
---2 Aquarius my Dsc, ok, have to say they are as a whole quite perverse, just when I think we can be good friends, bam they throw on too mcuh attention too fast and I want to end it all. I like Venus here, because they work to compromise with me, and getting that from a fixed sign Venus is a -huge- compliment. Mars here is v.sexy, Sun, I can take it or leave it, Mercury would be here like mine is, so it's fine, Moon I'd rather not have here as it's like they laser into -everything- I'm going through without me saying anything which can feel intrusive.So, overall,

Lonake,Just read what your experiences with Aries on your MC. My Sun & Moon are sitting two degrees away...AND I'm an Aqua riser, 3 degrees! Neat-O!! And as the MC & IC goes.. most of my very close relationships (the familiar and intimate) ALL are very MC & IC. IP: Logged |

Welcome Astrobelle Aquarius risers are indeed unique in the sense of being opposed to Leo since they welcome the world as their friend and on an instant equal level, so I've found (my baby is one  ). Lonake, Thank you for the warm welcome! I've only met one other person besides my brother who's AC is opposite mine. (LOL that sounds kinda sad doesn't it?) Lucky I have a few good Leo's around to keep me company. How you described Aqua AC was perfect! I couldn't have said it better myself. That's very cool you & your daughter have that connection. The widest orb I've heard for that is 5, the narrowest being 3.
I definitely think 5 deg would have influence, be acceptable, and 3 stronger, and more so, of course leading up to 0 which would be strongest. But if it's out of sign and 5 deg orb that's when I'd get leery about counting it. Just my opinion.
Astrobelle oh it's not smooth sailing, sorry if I gave that impression and we're not opposed by degree, just sign. I've never been so close to an Aqua rising and it's something to get used to! You don't know what it's like for me!! For example in grocery stores, and she's chatting away to everyone under the sun just extending that hand out, and I'm thinking to myself "oh my gosh not again she's going to make me talk to this stranger who i don't want to associate with cos i wanna be the supreme aloof leo feline" lmao!! That is from when she started talking, our biggest disagreement, because I usually think I should keep my distance and be aloof and she wants to run up to everyone. Maddening. Plus she's a Gemini, so that doesnt help anything 
No offense, I love you guys, I wish sometimes I could be that open and have people accept me right off the bat, like she gets, instant acceptance from almost everyone, but we are def. opposites on that end.
One thing I've noticed with Aqua risings is that they find it hilarious when I overreact, which is so Leo, and which I have a tendency to do as I'm also Pisces sun, which doesn't help anything either..fire+water does not = calm rational expression. But she gets entertained, bemused and detached, and wondering "what on earth is that woman freaking out about"

well in my synastry is in same sign, his IC 16 tau my MC is 13 tau. our venuses are both tau too, his 6 mine 8 and our nodes are there too my NN 7 tau his SN 12 tauso yeah lot of activity up there .. feels very karmic too im a leo rising too btw IP: Logged |

how interesting, it's his SN/IC and your NN/MC, conj the venuses. so this is a place he's been before that feels so familiar, and it's a place you want to go, but that would be drawing him back into the past. that must feel like a heartbreak, maybe even if you're together. and he's stuck wanting to be in 2 places @ once. wow i've never seen a combo like that before  i imagine with you he feels his life somewhat turned upside down since his NN conj your IC, so in a very real sense you're heading in different directions. with his sn on your mc, do you feel your aims/career is thought by him to be a blockage somehow? the sn person tends to welcome conj in the beginning, but as time progresses, it starts to feel somewhat draining and they want to move on, but moving on for him is moving towards who you are at a deeper soul level (ic), and it's in scorpio so it's more intense.IP: Logged |

oh yes total heartbreak.for two years he disappeared on me..
now he s on and off.. he tells me im always in his energy and his soul is with me even if we dont have a labeled relshp-which he does w her tho yes i think my job is a major issue even if he doesnt tell me but we have a huge passion to create together -he s a musician and when we did it was amazing.
i even bought a big house on 07 so we could build a nice music studio then he took off. it seems like he cant move on past me completely and thus he comes back but in a killing-me way cos he s always in limbo saying we ll see what happens.[but he keeps living w her] here s our syn if u wanna look. im the blue wheel inside -aries sun.
