Can somebody explain in simplistic terms what the parallel and contraparallel are?I've read that they're much like a conjunction and opposition. How do we calculate them in a natal and synastry chart? IP: Logged |

A parallel exists when two planets are in the same declination either north or south of the equator within a 1degree orb. A contra-parallel works somewhat like an opposition. A contra-parallel exists when one planet is north by declination EXAMPLE I have Sun Parallel Moon Sun 16 Leo and Moon is 15 Leo Moon 15 Leo and Mars is 14 Leo IP: Logged |
