No combo here, but I'm a double Virgo. No, I don't feel that the "typical" virgo description fits me, but then again most virgos that I know don't fit the description either...IP: Logged |

Venus Asc and Jupiter Sun I'm a happy person most of the time, but I don't think people see that right away. Mars and Pluto in the 1st scares people off at first. But eventually they come around and my Jupiter & Venus character shows through better.

Mmm, for those people with double dosages..I looked at the first decan signs by your Sun sign....X_XMercury/Mercury: "..Observers and curious seekers, always ready to be distracted by a marvelous scenery, an interesting thought or entertaining conversation. Typically intelligent in a rapid, logical and detached way, they are still sometimes at loss in applying their fine minds to deeper thought or powerful, systematic reasoning. These people can easily become the life of the party, and they share a great love of light social situations where the people are many and the demands are low. Many feel depressed about getting older, sort of a Peter Pan syndrome, and indeed do have an eternal youthfulness over them. The are perceptive and shrewd, but often emotionally shallow..." "....personality is characterised by a quick wit, super intelligence and ability to communicate. You are constantly at odds with your mind and emotions. Your head tells you one thing, your heart another. Because of this you seldom know which one to trust. But generally you go with what your head tells you. You are exceptionally intelligent and articulate. Your verbal skills can be utilised by you in any number of career directions including finding great success in the areas of writing, teaching, and communicating.
You are very quick witted and have a dry sense of humour. Because of this you are always popular in social settings and can number many friends. But you rarely get really close to any of these friends and prefer to keep a little distance between you. You are somewhat of a perfectionist and expect the very best of yourself as well as others. You do have a tendency to be overcritical of yourself and can be your own worst enemy..."
Im kinda just playing around with ideas here for fun XD lol

Jupiter/Jupiter for DD:".....Typically the non-conformist who goes on to become a respected citizen with academic or social responsibility. These people are adventurous, positive and very direct. In fact rather tactless. They’re lovers of action but more than often have high intellectual, political or artistic ambitions. They are sweeping, broad learners and youthful, eternal students. Yet might also be the dogmatic teacher or preacher. As partners or lovers they are giving and adventurous, enthusiastic and romantic. Jupiter tends to bring these people luck and fortune in life, if they refrain from worrying and simply give in to the hands of fate. Also they have an inclination and often talent for for risk-taking, speculation and gambling..." "...Personality is characterised by an adventurous nature, positive outlook and a direct way of speaking. You are very adventurous and love to experience new, bold and exciting adventures. Of all the Star Signs of the Zodiac and all of the Sagittarius Decans you are the most bold and daring. It would come as little surprise to see you bouncing of a bungee rope, freefalling from the sky or shooting the rapids. You just love action and fun and if it has an element of danger, even more so. You are an optimist and have a very positive outlook on life. You find the best in people and situations and bring exuberance and enthusiasm to everything. People love to be around you as your boundless energy, fun nature and passion for life is contagious. You make people feel uplifted. Some would say it is total honesty – others blunt, cutting and tactless. But this is the Sagittarians approach to communicating their thoughts, ideas, criticisms and beliefs. This direct approach can get you in some scrapes but is nothing you cannot handle..." Edit:I like the 2nd interpt on both posts X_X.. IP: Logged |

Sun Virgo, ASC Leo, so Mercury-Sun here.Since the ruler of my Sun is Mercury and my Mercury is in Leo (the ruler of Sun), I am very much Virgo and very much Leo ;-)) Mercury also conjuncts my ASC to make matters even more emphasized. I really can't separate the Virgo&Leo sides in me, both are so strong. Most people do think I am Leo, though... probably because the Leo side wants to be seen ;-) ~ Lana IP: Logged |

I'm Sun/Neptune (Sun for Leo Asc. Neptune for Pisces Sun) quote: do you think as a combination, they describe you?
Yes I relate. I easily get lost in the dream and am somewhat angered when reality intrudes. I need people to give me practical guidance, to have that strong grounding, most of my friends are sun Virgos, too. quote: if someone were to ask you to describe yourself in a nutshell, that combination would fit perfectly?
No, not perfectly, especially since Pluto is by far my strongest planet. One astrologer described my Pisces/H8/PLuto emphasis as having one eye that sees -everything-, this is pretty true as to the base of my personality, my basic self. Very caught up in the impressions I get from the world, everyone in it, and trying to synthesize it all.I wish mine were both Mercury! You are so lucky, in fact I wish I had Merc conj Asc, no doubt. GG, What impact would this have for synastry? I just realized there's a strong one from my past who had the opposite of mine: me- sun, him-uranus me-neptune, him-mercuryFunny I've never thought of Mercury as being opposite Neptune. This could be why I like the Virgos from the 60s with their Sun conj Uranus My baby is Mercury/Uranus as well. IP: Logged |

I guess I can kind of relate with Mercury sun and Venus as chart ruler. But my Mars is in the 1st house too, and is conjunct the asc, which ruled by Venus (Taurus). Venus and Mars are in opposition and part of a t-square in my chart. My sun makes no major aspects to any planet, but my sun's ruler, Mercury, conjunct Pluto, trine Jupiter and sextile Neptune, square Saturn. Also....shouldn't planets in the first also be part of the asc description, esp when conjunct it? I feel my Venus and Mars strongly (both square Jupiter). My sun is unaspected and I just feel disconnected from it a lot. It comes and goes. Mercury is strong in my chart, with it and Jupiter making the most aspects. I honestly have no idea lol IP: Logged |

You know Lonake, I look at it like temperment matching. Let's say you have a Moon Venus combo as the guy and a Saturn Mars combo as the woman. That mix of planets, the woman is likely to be serious and reserved and the guy is likely to be very romantic and not reserved. So i guess the temperments would clash a bit. But of course other chart aspects may smooth it out a lot. ------------------ Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚ Gemini Sun 24˚ Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house) Gemini Mercury 25˚ Cancer Venus 29˚ (Mutual reception with Moon) And yes, i'm a guy! I use only traditional rulerships now. I stopped using modern rulerships. The dispositor of my Sun in Scorpio is Mars which is in Aquarius. I can see that. Not in the detachment, but humanitarian ideals, unconventional, progressive, into reform, rebellious I have Sun semisquare Mars/Uranus midpoint and Sun parallel Jupiter/Uranus midpoint. The Ruler of my Ascendant, Mercury is in Scorpio which is placement of my Sun
yeah I can relate to the Scorpio stuff big time. My Mercury sextile Geocentric South Pluto Node could help me identify with Mercury in Scorpio. Maybe even my exact Mercury-Pluto golden section aspect. Both Geocentric Planetary Nodes and Golden Section Aspects were things that Theodor Landscheidt was pioneer of in Astrology.
