hi allwell in the past i never had trouble sleeping,it could have be an earthquake going on that i would still be sleeping like a rock. OF COUrse that with times passing by,people change and my sleep want that rocky as it was before. But since some weeks ago, this is a nightmare.constantly. i go to bed and it can be 4am,5am and im still awake. i wake up around 9.30am or 10am and i cannot sleep either even if i want to. and now most of the times when i sleep,in those rare hours between the insomnia,i have nightmares. i know that my life now is not a bed of roses, but i pass nights awake and this surely isnt normal. i think doctors wont help me,i dont like to take meds to sleep,im too young for that. is it some transit going on???is it cause of the shapeshift that it will take place? i dont know.i just know that i need to understand what is goinŽon. Have you guys been sleeping ok?
this is my transit IP: Logged |

This is not astrological but I have trouble sleeping when I am changing. It seems like I process new ideas and ways of being during the night and then cannot sleep. When this happens, I give up and try to go with it. When the changes occur, then I can sleep again. It is very hard and frustrating though. I am sorry you are going through this Diandra ! I am actually the opposite. When a change is imminent, I hardly can stay awake. It`s like my psyche needs these sleeping hours, as it processes important things then.Diandra, maybe you donŽt need that much sleep nowadays? Are you tired? IP: Logged |

Hey Diandra - I would think with a Saturn 12th house transit that worry, conscious or unconscious, would make you stay up even if you feel very tired. But isn't Uranus also opposing your 12th house right now? As someone with a Moon in the 12th with an opposition to Uranus, I am really prone to hardcore insomnia and sometimes just won't sleep I also get really vivid dreams. I think with Mercury in your 12th, you're getting pummeled with the Saturn and the opposition from Uranus to your Mercury. 12th house can rule the unconscious, even sleep, so the nightmares can be coming from that...just kind of coming out of nowhere (Uranus). Saturn is about leave your 12th and I think as it makes its grand exit from that house, you're feeling it more, and feeling more restless, more alert, but also more tired in your body. Probably you're experiencing the last of the impact from the Uranus/Saturn opposition too, so just hang in there because it should get better soon I suggest not pressuring your body to sleep, but just lying down whenever you feel like it, and letting your body rest. Let your mind just spew out whatever random stuff it needs to as it adjusts to this shift/change. I really feel DD and Ami are right about change/sleeping less when there's change - your psyche/unconscious is processing, processing, processing... and then digesting, leaving you wide awake, and then getting weird dreams when you do sleep.

Also, Jupiter, the ruler of your 3rd, is opposing the 12th house right now, so I wonder if maybe it's even exaggerating the insomnia/nightmares, sort of increasing it. Since it rules your 3rd house (communication), and also is opposing your 12th house Mercury (!!!), then it's giving you the capacity to dream big too. So try and visualize all the changes you want to make right now because I feel like that would balance out the nightmare stuff which you are experiencing. I hope that makes (some) sense (I'm still on my 1st cup of coffee lol)??? IP: Logged |

T. Sat is on mercury, ruler of your 12th, in your 12th (house of sleep). You also have t. jup square neptune, which is in your 3rd, making your mind unsettled. Nep sextile nep, which can do the same thing, especially with the dreams. Neptune rules your 6th and it's in your 3rd. I think t. uranus is moving in to trine your n. jupiter too, which is in your 3rd. I have been incredibly exhausted the past month. When I lay down to go to sleep, I just die -- I even fall asleep so fast that I leave in my contacts, and I never do that. I'm so tired and achy, I don't evfen know what to do, so it isn't just you. I've had a lot of planets in my 12th lately.

In addition to the above information, the ruler of your 12th is currently retrograde in the 8th. This sort of happened to me throughout the month of March and some of this month when I was reaaally stressed out. I have a packed 12th House with Mars in the 3rd so its usually difficult for me to just shut off my brain but recently its been horrible....I haven't been falling asleep until 5-6amish. Pluto just went retrograde in my 12th again. Though, unlike you, I'll sleep for about 8 hours when I finally do fall asleep.

Dreamy Girlwere you the one who send me email about my blog? Ami Ann maybe that is it with me too.yes it is very frustrating cause the more i try to sleep, the less i can!... DD i would also prefer that my mind chooses to sleep to process the changes information...as it does with you,You lucky girl!! yes,i do feel tired.and have horrible face nowadays...i jjjust hope that the changes come so that i can finally sleep. MVM i didnt remembered of that oposition between Uranus/Saturn.but yes,Uranus is now 28Pisces,which is gonna opose my Merc yes... few...my dreams are vivid allright..i wouldnt mind if they were lovely and colourful dreams, but usually they are now horror movies, and people that i love being chased,or murdered...those kind of things...i wake up and of course that after it,i cant sleep anymore.. made lots of sense yes, thank you!the only nights that i dreamt ok and had night of sleep is the last days that im with Jonnhy,he seems to help me sleep, just by being beside me on the bed. iÂŽll go with that and not force anything - what we resist persist then...-and leave it out as it is.and ask for guidance and good decisions in the times ahead. Ekf i never heard of it.im glad that it works for you.i try to be away of things, like im now trying to improve mself from the inside, with no exterior materials or products you know...?just with the Self and Soul..and work within. Diana i understand, you re having the oposite of me. Benedict Moon
good for you! 8 hours is just bliss for me.i love to sleep really, and i usually ( unlike the later times) i have wonderful dreams, full of significance to me.due to my recent transformation from within, pluto in IC is also hard for this... Glaucus so youre also having problems to sleep like me.Did you found anything that helps you sleep or relaxed to rest?

Very good analysis from MyVirgoMask and all those who looked into the 12th house.I find that as a rule of thumb, the 12th house rules sleep and insomnia. IP: Logged |

I'm sorry that you are having so much trouble sleeping. The insomnia alone isn't that unusual, but the constant nightmares are indicative of psychological stress or even trauma. Take a real honest look at your life and see if 1) you are undergoing more stress that you can handle and whether or not your need to reduce stress or get help handling the stress, and 2) if there has been anything in your life lately that may have triggered deeper memories of trauma. That tr Saturn in your 12th conjunct you Mercury suggest a lot of mental strain on a deep, unconscious level. It will take some searching to uncover what the real trigger of this is. Meditation would be a good thing right now, especially in the evenings, before you get too tired. Retreat to a quiet room, use dim, diffused lighting or candlelight, wear loose, comfortable clothes and just sit in a comfortable, unstressful position with your hands in your lap, palms open and facing upwards. Close you eyes and visualize all your thoughts and feelings traveling from your head down your arms and to your hands where they evaporate from your palms and drift away from you. Then breathe steady and deeply, and think of a single word that makes you feel calm and safe, like "peace" or "faith or "love" and any other word that evokes those feelings, and repeat it in your head softly until you feel very relaxed and very centered. This is as long as you can without feeling fatigue or strained. the point is to empty yourself of negativity and then refill yourself with a sense of calmness, clarity and balance. Another thing to try is cutting back on caffience if you drink caffinece, and switching to herbal teas. I would highly recommend Traditional Medicinals' Nighty Night tea to help you relax at night. I used this tea when I was going through a very bad grieving process that kept me up many nights, crying. i still use it now, because I'm such a nervous person that I usually have trouble getting to sleep anyways, and it does help me get to sleep faster and sleep much more soundly than without it. I'm usually ready to pass out halfway through my second cup. And a third thing you can try is exercise. Tr. Uranus in your 6th, opposing your Mercury which is also stressed by tr Saturn, may have thrown certain mind-body connections off balance and you may need to mentally reconnect to your body processes through exercise. Exercise also helps activate the production of the brain chemicals needed for healthy sleep, like serotonin and melatonin. I would recommned exercise that isn' too stressful, as you haven't been sleeping well and your body isn't as rested as it needs to be for more vigorous exercise. Walking, bicycling or hiking outdoors would be good for you, and also swimming would be very therapeutic for your 12th house issues. Lastly, look at your diet. Stressful Saturn aspects are difficult to manage if you're not eating well. Take it from someoen with a difficult natal Saturn--like with the Moon and Cancer, Saturn and Capricorn are highly sensitive to food. The problem with Saturn/Cap is you often don't eat as much as you need, or you aren't eating enough of the things you need to eat. Stressed Mercury drains your brain, so think brain food: quality, lean proteins and whole veggies and fruits rich in nutrients and healthy carbs. Berries, apples, grapes, citrus, spinach, lettuce, carrots, squash, broccoli, asparagus, legumes, eggs, kefir/yogurt, hard cheese, fish and turkey are good choices to start with. Also look at healthy fats, like olive oil and fat from avocados, oily fish, flax and eggs. Your brain needs those healthy fats too.
Good luck to you! IP: Logged |

WOwCherle thank you so much!iŽll try the exercise, but i have problems meditating.something prevents me to reach that higher state.nevertheless the exercise you talked about doenst seem so complex.iŽll try that along with my Angel prayers i eat quite well.i love vegetables and also i love to cook,so that wont be a problem. exercise...yeah...im libra asc im terribly lazy to exercise, ocasionally i walk a bit more when the days are shinny. the nightmares i think that comes from the part of myself that knows that something big is coming - changes whatever they might be.im searching for jobs, that can be aplus on stress but to me,the most part comes from the psychological transformations that im passin through - Pluto on IC too - and so,maybe i need to liberate myself from the bad energies/vibes trhough the nightmares so that i can process good energies in the day. who knows...fortunately i have a wonderful family and bf who loves me always and i didnt had any trauma that i can remenber. Diana im sorry to hear that...a friend of mine said that it is also good to keep close contact with Nature.do you do that? Glaucus i already go late to be more tired, and see if sleep comes. I am sorry about your sleeploss. I wish I could share some of my sleep with you. If I can`t sleep (happens very rarely), usually it helps for me to take a long brisk walk before going to sleep (1 - 2 hours before); a hot bath can be helpful, too. And the best thing for me is reading a book, I get so relaxed that my eyes will shut on their own. IP: Logged |
