If one person's Sun is conjunct the other's Venus/Pluto midpoint would this be significant and how would it be likely to manifest?

I've wondered about this too.

Someone's Venus/Pluto Midpoint at 8 Libra is in aspect to my Sun 8 Cancer and Moon 8 Capricorn. Plus his Sun is at 9 Libra!

This means his Venus/Pluto midpoint is aspecting my Sun/Moon midpoint.

Midpoints are very important because they blend fundamental energies which is what happens essentially when we meet someone. But when we look at midpoints just interpret all the energies together.

Venus: Love
Pluto: Fate, Transformation
Sun: Man, Life Force
Moon: Woman, Emotion

Plus my Venus/Mars midpoint is at 3 Taurus and

His ASC is 3 Taurus
His Pluto is 3 Scorpio
His DSC 3 Taurus

Venus/Mars: Affection, Passion

Venus and Mars rule my relationship axis, so maybe he completes this part of me...

I love midpoints.

Interesting Raymond.

Does that book talk about synastry midpoints? Or personal midpoints?

The Ruth Brummond Rulebook just goes over planetary combinations that might pertain to natal, synastry, transit, secondary progression, solar arc.

It's a modern version of Witte's Rulebook of Planetary Pictures.

Uranian Astrology
so it includes hypothetical transneptunian planets too

I was thinking it must be fairly significant due to any Venus/Pluto contact being quite important in synastry. My Venus/Pluto MP is exactly conjunct this person's Sun, and his Sun/Moon MP exactly conjuncts my Sun and there are other conjunctions such as his Pluto/AC conjunct my Sun and his Venus/Sun MP conjunct my Venus. I find his good opinion is incredibly important to me and we both seem to find the other quite indispensable.

So far, it seems it's more significant for the Venus/Pluto mp person, keeping in mind other synastry factors (mp's and close conj, sq, opps)

All by itself, it would likely mean that through the Sun person, the Ve/Pl person is getting more in touch with their deep intense romantic sexual needs and from that may be projecting some attraction to the Sun person, because the Sun person is the igniting factor here.
Is that what's happening here?

Very difficult to say as this is a friends relationship presently but it certainly does feel as though there's a great deal of attraction so that does ring true for me.

I need to learn midpoints. My Sun is conjunct his Venus/Pluto midpoint, our Venus/Pluto midpoints are exactly conjunct, my Moon/Mars conjuncts his Venus, and his Venus/Jupiter midpoint conjuncts my Sun/Moon midpoint.

Raymond,
What books would you suggest to start?

Don McBroom's book,MIDPOINTS
It's a highly recommended book. He is a follower of Noel Tyl too. I don't have his book though http://www.amazon.com/Midpoints-Integrate-Horoscope-Synthesis-Astrology/dp/0738709832/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1272130187&sr=8-1-fkmr0

Midpoints: Unleashing The Power of The Planets by Michael Munkasey. I have it as e-book on CD. http://www.amazon.com/Midpoints-Unleashing-Planets-Michael-Munkasey/dp/0935127119/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1272130268&sr=1-1

Combination of Stellar Influences by Reinhold Ebertin. It's the Bible of Cosmobiology. The midpoint pictures for Saturn and Neptune are negative. Same for some Uranus and Pluto configurations too.
I had the book. http://www.amazon.com/Combination-Stellar-Influences-Reinhold-Ebertin/dp/086690087X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1272130353&sr=1-1

I have my Sun opposed to this one guy's Venus/Pluto mp almost exact. Since this is a case of admiring a guy while keeping my distance, as he's not suitable for me at all, I don't know how he feels this. But I'm a bit obsessed, admittedly. It's a rather sexual/physical thing too.

I have the book by Don Mc Broom, it`s really quite good.

Also, I would think that the owner of Venus/Pluto-mp is the obsessed one.

midpoints are sensitive points

When you touch a person's midpoint, the midpoint person is the one that is being affected.

"This means his Venus/Pluto midpoint is aspecting my Sun/Moon midpoint. "

That's a relevant configuration to Magi Astrologers, Hamburg School/Uranian Astrologers, and David Cochrane.

Referred to as
1. Magi Quad
2. Planetary Picture
3. Isosceles Trapezoid

I use 30 minutes of arc for those.

I would use half the orb for the transneptunians (including Pluto),centaurs (including Chiron),asteroids.

just interpret it like it's a 4 planet configuration

Sun/Moon -

the integration of the ego and emotion nature

combining with

Venus/Pluto

the integration of love and transformative intensity

anything that fits the planetary symbolisms
