Hey!!!

I was wondering -- If you are certain you have your correct time of birth, and if you definitely have a LATE Ascendant... (for me this would mean an AC that is over the 25 degree mark, as per my title) how much has the progressed AC affected your appearance?

The AC would have progressed to the next sign in your childhood, more than likely. Has this had a significant impact on the way you come across - but most of all on your physical appearance?

So for example.. if you have a very late Cancer AC -- Do you have the Leonine golden wavy hair anyway? Kate Hudson seems to have a Cancer AC -- it is quoted as a late Cancer AC everywhere I checked.. but she does have Leonine traits.

i have a late ascendant in virgo i dont know if i look libran but i see it in everyones chart with their appearance only!

Usually early and late degrees almost always look like the sign before or after.

I know a guy who has a late Leo ASC. I'm a Virgo ASC myself, and I was convinced he was a Virgo ASC too. Now I know he's a Leo ASC I can see the Leonine qualities he expresses, but he does still strikes me as quite Virgo-ish in how he acts, especially when he first meets people. He's far more reserved and detached than you'd think a Leo ASC would be, although he's still quite friendly and smiley, like Leo ASC. His face too, while the overall shape is that kind of Leonine shape, his specific facial features seem more Mercurial to me. He has a swallow Virgo-ish complexion, but he's got Leo hair--kind of ashy golden auburn that curls all over the place if he lets it grow long.

My brother has a late Scorp ASC, and he too seems more like a Sag ASC in many ways, both in mannerisms and appearance. He can be gregarious like a Sag yet he's also very elusive and evasive like a Scorp. With him, his overall facial shape is more Saggy, but he has the deep set eyes and strong facial features of a Scorp ASC. He's got Sag hair too--it used to be dark, curly and thick when he was younger, but now it's thinned out and lightened in color, and is straight and always looking wind-blown.

My ASC is 27 Gemini... my progressed ASC is in Cancer.

I'm definitely more shy than an average Gem Rising, but I attribute that to Sat opposite my ASC.

I guess we'll see when my ASC progresses to Leo

My ascendant is in early Scorpio, and my mother once expressed surprise: she thought it would be something more along the lines of Libra.

I have Pluto in Libra, though, which I guess is one thing that Vapor was asking about in another thread - whether or not the ruler of the sign, and its placement, alters the look or mannerisms of people with similar ascendants.

Vapor i just thought of something. My mum is cancer rising and is annorexic skinny. The ruler (moon) is conjunct jupiter in aries. You'd think she'd be curvy but she's a gemini sun.

My brother who has 15 taurus rising and ruler venus in pisces isn't very skinny but is still skimpy to me and is tall when taurus isn't a tall sign.
