If anyone understands the practical workings of this aspect--I would be very appreciative.
As I heal ,emotionally,my chart leads the way of incorporating lost parts of myself.
I have Pluto conjunct MC(exact degree) in Leo.Pluto is my chart ruler.
One thing that kept me stable was caring about my reputation :my integrity.
As my life was falling down, I hung on to that.
I am wondering if that aspect was a gift.
I am thinking that it was.
Thank you for any help ,personal experience etc.

Ami

PS In synastry---his moon(his chart ruler) conjuncts this. What would that mean, also?

You can't edit titles or I may have edited this to "Saving Graces"
I have two I can clearly see so far. There are many others which I cannot quite fathom yet.,
One is my unaspected Venus cuz it can live without love if need be and it was needed as a child.
The other is Sappho in an exact conjunction with the Venus.
Pluto conjunct MC is another saving grace,I am quite sure even though I am just working out the particulars now.

Really?
I've seen it to be that unaspected planets function at a faster rate, if you will, than aspected since they can run full force without another major aspect coming at them, telling them to keep this or that in mind, etc

Does your Venus have special cond such as Rx? (Altho I don't really buy into the sad stories of Rx planets, as it is apparent backward motion, not literal. So I don't see Rx planets as neg as some other people here.)

His moon conj an angle on your chart + being conj your own chart ruler is a strong testament to him having a definite influence on your life's aims, and that you 2 in some way share a particular destiny together which is embodied by his moon in leo conj your pluto. Is it conj his own pluto? If not, then the influence in synastry would be stronger.

Thank you (((Lonake))
My Venus is unaspected ---not retro. In synastry, his Pluto trines it--exact degree--though.
Thanks for your info on unaspected planets.
Do people differ on if they are 'good" or 'bad'?
It seems so.
Thanks for your info on his moon conjunct my Pluto and MC !
x o x Ami

PS No--his moon is not conjunct his own Pluto. It is an air singelton.

"Do people differ on if they are 'good" or 'bad'?"

This is true for reading charts in general people read what works for them from learning the charts in different ways, and then the psychology behind that differs too. The end result is often incredibly similar, but from a-->b-->c, etc. that's where it's usually v.different.

I see a planet not receiving a major aspect from a major planet/luminary (incl pluto) within a certain orb as unaspected, so it stands out, therefore it gains strength. So I read your comment on your personal Venus and was wondering why it might act as such in your life, so your interp on unaspected planets is prob diff than mine based on your experience. Though it is a relatively rare chart factor so there are actually a lot of charts to comb through to try to see what it may mean based on their experiences, etc.

But to answer your question some see it as a person having difficulty connecting in with the unaspected energy, others may see it as a focal pt in the chart because nothing is directing its energy in a potentially positive or potentially adverse manner, so it has a free rein on the chart to dive into things etc.

Personally I see them as strong focal points, a need to "find a home" for that energy, to find a place in their life where it can be expressed unbridled and eventually integrated more cohesively into the rest of the personality. I think they may not always be happy what they made of the unaspected planet in the end, but the driving force is to put that energy somewhere and make use of it, and i see it as a point of talent, like the unaspected sun would likely have a latent star quality but even if realized the person may sort of want to cower away from the fame but would nevertheless feel compelled again and again to put their solar energies out there in full force. It seems to me that the energy spirals around them even in childhood and the will is to try to find a place for themselves in that neverending motion. I haven't stated this as articulately as I could have, this is based off researching others charts, unfortunately I don't have an unaspected planet for any injection of first hand experience. Maybe if you want to share how you think it's impacted you with what you know of astrology? Only if, since I know Venus for a woman is a really personal planet, etc.

Anyway, hope some of this made sense

Thank you so much for the warmth and care in your post,Lonake

I have felt numb since I was 14. I had too much trauma and went in to shock.
I did not realize what it was until recently.
I don't know WHAT is my Venus and what is being numb.
I feel like I can detach from emotions and look at a situation in a detached way.
It is like feeling above the situation like you see when someone has had a car accident and is out of their body looking from above.
I thought that I was a sociopath or something bad cuz my M was a therapist and always diagnosing me with things --bleh--lol.
So, I had this part that could "go aloof"
When I learned about unaspected Venus, I thought maybe that is the explanation.
I read with a Scorp Ascendent, the grandmother will often replace the mother and mine did.
HER chart cradles my Venus in love(i.e many positive aspects).
I loved her so much.

This is what I feel might be the unaspected Venus.
I have NEVER cried over a man except my current with the aspects I mentioned.
Of my 7 b/f's in my life---I really was not attached.
I did not know it cuz it was "normal" to me.
This one has his Pluto in exact trine ti my Venus and my Pluto conjunct his moon, as I said.
I am very attached from the heart and not aloof at all.
It feels like my Grandmother in the extent of my heart's attachment.
When my grandmother died, I wailed like an animal. I still cry whenever I talk about her.
I think that the unaspected Venus can stay dormant without love. That is my theory and I could be wrong.
I had to detach from my mother cuz she was abusive. I think the Venus helped me to do that.
I see it as being able to go in to a cocoon or hibernation when needed.
Perhaps, that theory is all wrong.
If I lost the one I love, I would throw myself in to creative things.
Sappho is in exact conjunction with my Venus.
Music, reading etc can substitute for love if there is none.
Thank you for asking me ,Lonake.
I would appreciate your POV.

Hmm, the way you're describing your situation, just my take on it, is it seems more related to possibly your Moon/h4 ruler/planets in h4. Just a guess, because it all sounds very emotional what you're speaking of which can hit you on a very deep level, a personal Venus imo wouldn't be that strong natally, it is strong, it's just a different realm of our psyches. But that's just my take, I'd ask if I could see the chart, but don't know if you feel comfortable posting, but my inclination is to say h4/moon related.

Do you have h4 in aquarius? With scorp rising? I'd pay attn to what Uranus is doing in your chart. the detachment like you speak is commonly Aqua/Uranus. the depth of the loss would be more pluto/scorpio if it's something that shakes you to your core.

I can share something which is a family member of mine with moon in aquarius sq uranus in scorpio, her mother left her to be raised by her grandmother while she was stationed with her new husband and their new child in germany. She had another child in germany, returned to the u.s. and still lays no claim to my cousin being her daughter, to see them interact it is a strictly frienship relationship. needless to say this created strife for my cousin as she was not a baby when she was sent to live with her grandmother, she was almost 10, so she knew her mother was choosing to leave her. Not that something like this would happen in every case, but it's just to illustrate. My cousin's moon is also her chart ruler, so this was personal to her as well. Just throwing some ideas out there.

Pluto on the midheaven is excellent. Being that it's your chart ruler, it is even more beneficial. The midheaven relates to how people (outsiders) view us and our public reputation and our willpower. You probably don't think so, but you appear to be an extremely powerful and willful person. And you really are powerful and willful thanks to Pluto! I advise that people with this aspect should engage in meditation, prayer, yoga, anything to get in touch with their subconscious because Pluto brings forth those subconscious energies.

I call unaspected planets our Wizard of Oz planets. With an unaspected Venus, much effort is put into analyzing love, affection, and social life. There is a constant quest, only to find out at the end that you were loved all along. If your Venus placement allowed you to view an abusive situation with a detached analysis then that was a gift. Many people with unaspected Venuses can look at emotionally charged situations analytically, which makes them doubt that they are loved or that they love others. Since this is a high focus for them, it can make them feel like they are missing something very important. Sometimes they can have an "a-ha" moment that lets them know that they were loved/what they felt was love. I have a close friend with an unaspected Venus and she has always questioned love. Realizing that her hubby buying her favorite brand of coffee for the house(his fave was a different brand but she'd never considered it) was a way he showed love = clicking the ruby slippers.

Do you have any planets in your 5th or 7th houses?

I would love to see your whole chart. I'm intrigued by a chart with a Scorpio Asc/Leo midheaven conjunct Pluto and an unaspected Venus!

Nope. We would have to be signed in on astro.com as you to see it. Do you have a photobucket or tinyimages account where you can upload photos for free? If you have one, you can right click on your astro chart picture and do "save as." Then sign in to photobucket or tinypic and upload from your computer. It will give you a link that you can post here (the one beginning with "[IMG]").

Hi!

I have a friend who also has Pluto on his MC, Scorp Ascendant. All I can say is that he represents strenght and will! Coming from where he comes from (segregation from where he grew up as a child, a very violent father, he almost died, economic difficulties...), he has achieved so much, studied hard, and he is now a very known public speaker! I have an admiration for him! I think these people can achieve anything!
