It appears that we have some interesting connections, especially the eros/psyche conjunction. What do you guys think?

Also, here is the composite. The Sun/Venus conjunction is supposed to be significant, am I right?

we are very much alike. almost exact upbringings. both the youngest of 3 kids with 2 older brothers. similar body build. she's a model/writer i am a singer/writer/songwriter.

if she was a guy, i don't know that it could work. too much alike.

ETA: i see A LOT of same modality relationships. you guys are both fixed. taurus/leo...seen it before. stubbornness could really get the best of you.

your perspective of the world of course is going to be very similar because of the way your angles line up.

i don't know much about asteroids so i won't comment on that.

your sensitive pisces moon conjunct mars in the 7th... could be lots of projection passive aggressiveness on your part. could work for the Leo man, but he may come off too harsh with you. unfortunately, things do change when you change the status of a relationship.

I for sure thought that he would be a Sag or some other fire AC, but I guess it could be the Leo Sun that contributes to his tall, muscular build. I would say, yes, we're pretty similar but not as much as I would expect from such an angle alignment!

That's interesting that you say that he seems a little scary with the Leo Scorpio energy... I wouldn't say that he's scary... He's actually an incredibly gentle and positive person However, I would like to add that yes, there is some sort of unresolved inner conflict about him. He has this crazy fear of vulnerability. For instance, although we've never officially dated, our relationship has never been completely platonic either. The problem is that, anytime we start getting close, he becomes afraid and backs away. But he KEEPS doing this! He initiates contact, gets a little close, and backs away... repeatedly! Talk about confusing! This is primarily because of unhealthy, dysfunctional past relationships, but I just wish that he could get over it and take a chance! You know?

the nature of this relationship is one of emotional openess and vulnerability, which he craves yet fights. the trine between your moons is what keeps you guys together. your needs are similar, but your suns are square which i find is quite normal.

10th house sun, mercury and venus make this an obviously important relationship for the both of you.

pluto trining the sun and venus would account for the magnetic pull between you two. the sun conjunct venus gives you pure affection for each other that doesn't necessarily have to be romantic or sexual.

venus opposite neptune.
this would bring the romantic and idealistic quality to the relationship. however, without any substantial saturn contacts, that would be all there is. i don't know what is that would ground you guys.

in your synastry, his saturn is opposite your venus which i think would account for the age difference. his venus is square your saturn which could be the grounding i'm looking for. but with your watery moons...i don't know.

That was actually extremely helpful! Really provided me with some insight into his mind and what is going on with him... which is quite baffling, to say the least! For the longest time, I just thought that I was reading into all this and that it's all in my head!

It seems that with the angles lining up like that and all those angle/planet conjunctions, that is also contributing to the strong connection!

It's funny actually, he wants me to come visit him on the West Coast, and will pay for my plane ticket and everything... this sort of came out of nowhere.... wonder if it's a good idea for me to go or if it will just complicate things further...

One of mine too, we are both Pisces rising with all angles conjunct. It makes for an intuitive understanding of each other, we are almost the same person in some ways, we are both Virgos as well. There is such a thing as being TOO MUCH alike though, we share similar strengths and weaknesses. One of the strengths is that the intuitive understanding leads to an almost psychic connection at times, is that the case with your friend?

Also, how wide is that Vertex conjunction? I've seen this in one other synastry and the two had soulmate synastry. With the Eros/Psyche conjunction, especially him being Eros, that would certainly explain your sudden appeal to each other. Also, the DW Venus/Saturn is another set of soulmate aspects, I share the opposition with one of my soulmates.

Factoring in the asteroids, his Union is conjunct your nadir. You also have composite moon in the 4th house. I would think that would lead to a deep sense of intimacy between you--you feel like "home" when you're around each other and perhaps can talk about anything? That's a lovely aspect to have.

Yes, that is exactly how I would describe the relationship! Definitely VERY intimate and we do talk about everything together... it's hard to explain but I just feel like he understands me so well... almost better than I understand myself... I think this may be what scares him.

I don't know though, like what you said that you and your friend are almost the same person. I don't really feel that way about him and I. Like I mentioned earlier, I was really caught off guard that he's a Virgo AC. He really doesn't seem like it at all, in my opinion (even though I'm not exactly an expert on these things). I think we are similar but not nearly to such an extent. Could this be because of the age difference possibly?

that's interesting that you say that the 1st and 7th house are a bit more superficial and shallow than the rest. This completely goes against those "marriage signs" that you read about so commonly on the internet! That makes sense though... Well then if we're talking about "deep" connections, what about my Venus in his 8th house? How is this likely to manifest?

And also, you're right about neither our Suns or AC's giving away our intensity... I'm VERY intense... possibly because of my natal Venus in 8th? Also, Pisces Moon makes me extremely emotional. With him it's most likely his Scorpio Moon I would think...

Also, I did comment on Eros/Psyche and from what I've seen it's pretty darn rare, especially in close conjunction with the male as Eros and the female as Psyche.

How wide is the Moon/Descendant conjunction? That would represent ideal partnership, you being his.

If this relationship were to get off the ground someday, does it look like it would largely be a positive or negative experience for us, compatibility wise?

Also, what else would be helpful to look at to determine possibilities? Perhaps progressions?
