LOL, this is from RealAstrologers:The question is posted by one of us long suffering Virgos from Saturn transit. The girl sounds like I feel!! Enjoy! Ask Real Astrologers: Should I Build a Bunker? This week’s question comes from Svetie in Coffs Harbour, Australia:
After three harrowing years of Saturn in Virgo, I’m dreading this retrograde transit. If I’m not mistaken, it was my second Saturn return. Will it treat me a bit gentler during this retrograde, or should I build a bunker now? Svetie, we all may need a bunker here shortly! Seriously, you are indeed in a challenging period, but not due to a Saturn return. That happened quite some time ago and is long past. What’s happening now is the conjunction of transiting Saturn and your natal Sun at 26 Virgo. And that’s not all. Your natal Saturn is at 26 Gemini, so you’re also experiencing a Saturn square. To complicate matters still further, transiting Saturn and Uranus are opposite one another and formed an exact contact at 28 degrees Virgo on April 26. It was the fourth pass of this opposition, and we’ll get a fifth one later this year in Libra and Aries. Of the five passes of Saturn and Uranus, the one that touched your chart most directly was on Sept. 15, 2009. That was a whopper, no doubt about it. Although some of the same elements are present now, including Mercury retrograde, Saturn has moved past your Sun. On his retrograde path, he will return to 27 degrees Virgo but no further. Sure, that’s way too close for comfort, but you got through the direct hit and lived to tell about it, so you’ll survive the next one. Uranus is another story. He’ll return to 26 Pisces and will hover around that degree until January 2011. What’s more, he’ll have Jupiter in tow to amplify his disruptive nature. However, all disruption isn’t bad. Wildly exciting developments and growth opportunities can be just as destabilizing as exploding relationships and detonating careers, and they are every bit as possible … make that “likely.” Fortunately, you’ve got a lot of mutable energy in your natal chart (mutable signs are Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces), and that means you are adaptable and open to change. Still, I don’t doubt that you’re under heavy stress and would like some stability. That probably isn’t going to happen for awhile. You may not need a bunker so much as an RV with all the amenties. Best of luck to you, Svetie, and thanks so much for writing. Let us know how it goes. Pat IP: Logged |

Well, she's right but slightly off in my case because I have my sun at 21 degrees and my Saturn at 4 degrees Cancer. So I already passed some of the hell she is talking about with Uranus and Saturn on my sun, though now the Pluto stuff is hitting me. That was when I went nuts and left the country and asked my ex for a divorce. I just stayed out of the country for a year and came back when I was good and ready lolUnfortunately, asides from my Virgo sun, nothing else in my chart is mutable. Well, unless you count Neptune. Yes, hold on for dear life with these transits if you're later degrees. If you're long-time married or with someone and things are good, then it's not too bad, and if you're single it can actually be fun lol IP: Logged |

MVM, when Saturn was on my Sun plus opposing Uranus I went nuts too and stayed nuts for about a year and a half. Moved out of my place and left my partner and such. IP: Logged |

I must say, I find myself still trying to recover from that time, Starkiss lol Now I have t Pluto opposing my Saturn, t Saturn sq Saturn, t Saturn conjunct my Pluto, and Pluto separating from my Pluto. Dear God, do I relate!!!When Saturn was on my Sun (20 deg Virgo) I went to hell and back. That's the worst. It manifested as problems with health, money and generally being unsettled. Oh, how I hated it! I'm so glad it won't be touching my Sun for some time. ------------------ Blog IP: Logged |

AG, that's a pretty sensitive place. My brother's got a Virgo moon as well. If I'm not mistaken it's already kicking in for him since he's having to make some tough choices about career and finances. He's really very young though (23). Starkiss...July, you say? Yes, I've read that elsewhere. I don't know what normal is anymore - not that I ever knew. And I've always kind of packed my bags and gone wherever the wind's blown anyway...but I think being older has made me want some roots. Bad timing for roots at the moment lol! IP: Logged |

Belgz...hmm, it's mainly been a serious reality check, I guess. Not so bad but I went through divorce and separation, upheaval (leaving the country), relocating several times, money problems, work problems, creative blocks, family disasters, and that's just off the top of my head After all that I feel like I still go through some kind of shell-shocked moments, almost like moments of emotionally reliving the craziest moments of when it all happened. Even though it's over, I am still trying to gather the pieces from the crash of '08 lol. It's not to say there haven't been moments of happiness and peace -there have been but it's almost like trying to trust in them because the past couple of years have been nonstop emotional bombardment and there's still a feeling that I am on 'probation' or something. Belgz, The last 3 years have probably been the most challenging for me in my whole life. Astrologically speaking, my natal Saturn and Chiron are close to my Asc. Which is Pisces. Which opposes my Sun, Pluto and Uranus in Virgo. So at that time Saturn and Uranus swapped places. I had transiting Uranus in Pisces going over my natal Saturn, Chiron and Asc, opposing my natal Sun,Pluto,Uranus, plus transiting Saturn going over my natal Sun, Pluto,Uranus, opposing itself(nataly) and Chiron and tr Uranus. 1st and 7th houses. OH, SH!T... It drove me close to destruction. It was a massive mid life crisis. I wanted to erase everything I achieved in my life and start afresh. Looks stupid from where I am now, but that's how I felt at the time. I was burning bridges like there was no tomorrow. I started good solid jobs and I walked on them. I walked from the best relationship in my life. I walked from the place I loved and lived in for some years. I was behaving like a spirit possessed. I was evil. I hated everybody and everything which was holding me back. I was destroying myself and my previous life. It was bad. I am glad you have a personality which is a happy one. You are one lucky girl. Treasure it. It does help. Saying that, I am sorry about your crutches! Are you getting any better? IP: Logged |

Starkiss - I am doing alright. Better, for sure. Am I well? Not 100%, but I am happy with being better than what I was. Belgz,
In 2007, when Saturn went into Virgo (I have Sun and Venus in Virgo), I quit a very comfortable job in finance to pursue my dream as a musician. I didn't have a plan. I didn't save enough to live comfortably. I sold all I had, downgraded my place to live from great town house to a cottage behind someone's house, and basically I have been in shock ever since of how difficult life became. Nothing came easily. I had to hustle and live well below what I had got accustomed to. But, I knew it would be hard. Then the debt. Owing money is probably the worst thing for me to experience, especially when I don't know HOW I am going to pay them back. Then the health problems. Then the break up from cheating boyfriend (we lived together)... I had a meltdown! (Not a technical one, but I bet if I did see a psychiatrist, they'd have said I had a meltdown. It's just that I didn't go to see a professional.) I am still recovering from it. Basically everything went up in smoke and manifested in the worst way possible, and it has been going on since mid 2006. I think I am insane today because of these past few years. quote: After all that I feel like I still go through some kind of shell-shocked moments, almost like moments of emotionally reliving the craziest moments of when it all happened. MVM, starkiss - Oh yeah, the NOMAD syndrome. Yep! It's been a suitcase, a bag, guitar and laptop for me (things I take around wherever I am needed, or wherever I want to go). MVM, remember on facebook last year when my status said something to the effect, "where to live next?" So, I also identify with that feeling of "home is where the heart is." ------------------ Blog IP: Logged |
