'Tis my 26th birthday today and my oh my has it been an interesting day already!!! (And it's only half three in the afternoon here in Blighty)!!!!!!!!

I woke up at 06:30am this morning with a dodgy belly (I knew I shouldn't have had fish and chips yesterday, lol!). As I went downstairs to make my son's breakfast, I saw that my entire kitchen had been INVADED by ants... Not good. We had run out of bait stations, so I made a mental note to get some later. Then, upon opening the fridge, I saw that the tropica juice had leaked ALL OVER the place!!! I had to get my OH to help me clean it up, or I'd have been late.....

....."Late for what?" you ask.....

.....Oh yeah, that would be my driving test!!!

I mean what kind of glutton-for-punishment IDIOT, books their test on the day of their birthday?!?!?!?!?!

.....Again, that would be me.....

What?! It was the earliest date I could get!!!!!

So anyway, I dropped the kiddo of at school and my instructor picked me up. I was sooooooooooo nervous - literally shaking. My examiner ended up being a pretty stoic guy called Gerry but he was okay I guess. Anyway, despite an incident with an extremely fat pigeon, I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!

YEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW!!!!!!!!!!!

Only 5 minors!!! Not bad....!

Got back home and have not been able to stop grinning all day! Popped out to get the bait stations (sorry ants) and also ended up buying myself THREE birthday cakes!!! What?! I won't eat ALL of them, lol!!!

Upon arriving back home, I was greeted by a DHL van with a package - FOR ME!!! Guess what?!

MY MACBOOK PRO ARRIVED!!!!! WOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's sooooooooooo gorgeous - I absolutely love it!!!

I've got friends and family coming over tonight for tea and cake. Oh who am I trying to kid?! BEER and cake!!!!!

AND I'm having a party on Saturday. And the weather here in London is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!! (And is planning to stay that way - yep, yep)!!!!!!!

This is just the best birthday EVER!!!!!!!!!
