This seems to be really common even if its within a few degrees before the ascendant.

Could this verify that house systems don't matter?

I've always noticed this with women that gave birth real young. My son's sun falls in my 12th house aries and my friend's son's sun falls in her 12th house virgo, just to site a few examples. We both gave birth at 15. Weird....

My Sun and Neptune were in my mom's 12th house. (None of her 3 other children had their Sun there, though.)

My SO's Sun and Mercury are in his dad's 12th house. (One of his siblings also has her Sun there.)

I don't follow.

Do you mean because that's not the house of children? I think this just shows the parent perceives their child as primarily playing a 12th house role for them.

Well no not because it doesn't fall into our 5th house but because usually it is in the same sign as the ascendant but just in the 12th house.

The ascendant is our FIRST. So therefore it might mean then maybe equal house is more accurate.
