Weekly Weather May 24, 2010

Saturn. Saturn! SATURN! All week, we¡¯ll be dealing with Saturn. Saturn. Saturn! SATURN! Saturn is stopped in the sky and getting ready to turn around and go direct next Sunday. Neptune is also stationing but he¡¯s much harder to wrap your arms around. As Neptune is aspecting Saturn, he¡¯s going to be hiding your Saturn in a veil of foggy, emotional, hard to discern energies. Saturn will be costumed and veiled by Neptune¡¯s illusion and deception. Trust me, Saturn is in there, deep in the foggy emotions, even if it feels like Saturn is no where to be found. Saturn is in disguise!!

This is Saturn¡¯s final week! Remember that last week of school when classes were cancelled and you only had to study, write term papers or show up for your final exams? The schedule of your life shifted and was shot for the week or so. In the meantime, you had challenges to face and exams to pass before leaving for the summer. That is what this week holds in store. However, Saturn is in disguise so you might not realize you are having a final exam unless you pay attention.

Saturn has been below the horizon in the Anima Mundi, or world chart, since April of 1996. Back then, you started a new Saturn story that is culminating right now. And, even better, Saturn is finishing up with Virgo and going to go above the horizon for the next 14 years. Saturn will be taking the work you¡¯ve done over the last 14 years out into the world for all to see. But, first, this week a final dress rehearsal, final exams and a double check that you actually know what you are doing before you get released into the world to partner with your Saturn in a new way.

Some Saturn stories from last week: Saturn in Leo in the 6th house of pets found the owner searching for a beloved pet, a cat, of course, in line with Leo. The cat had disappeared out the window and was trapped in a mud filled hole in the construction site. Saturn is joined to her Pluto in the 6th house and Pluto rules construction as well as holes and mud. Cat and owner are fine. However, the process was extremely difficult. Saturn in Gemini lost two computer files, which brought up very old early childhood energy to clear with Saturn in the 4th house and lots of tears. Saturn in Virgo restrained themselves from sending a searing response via email when an angry wasp flew in their window right as they were about to press the send key. Saturn in Pisces in the fourth house wrote a conciliatory make up email to a friend who was very maternal to her seeking to mend the relationship that fell apart last fall when she symbolically left home.

More Saturn stories: Saturn in Scorpio struggled to set boundaries in a matter that involved warring family factions so there was no triangulation and drama. Saturn in Gemini set boundaries with her very, very angry sister as she participated in a family event but refused to be lured into a fight. Saturn in the 3rd in Aries in a finger of god with 8th house planets found out a real estate deal gone bad might be reversed as the paper work was not done properly. Saturn in the 8th in Taurus is going to court regarding an inheritance matter about property. Saturn in Aquarius¡¯s bad boss wrote a nasty email to her group (Aquarius) saying her recent promotion by her good boss didn¡¯t mean anything about how the group would function in the future which of course was ridiculous. Aquarius gives you duals in your authorities ~ she has two bosses ~ a good and bad boss. Another Saturn in Aquarius with Saturn in the 7th house, shouted at a Saturn in Aries as she left his office ¡°Don¡®t you DARE walk out on me!¡± as the whole office listened. Of course, Saturn in Aries has to be brave enough TO walk out.

You get the idea. Saturn. Saturn. Saturn. In each of these cases, the person involved was involved on a DEEP emotional level in the experience. They also felt, at some point, exceptionally helpless and alone, lost even. Reverting to feeling like you are 5 years old and completely overwhelmed is a key hall mark of a Saturn experience! And, then, their Saturn knowledge kicked in. They buckled down. They put their shoulders back, chin up, and a resolute smile on their face. They dried their tears. They did, to the best of their ability, VERY HARD work to resolve the situation. They did their absolute best. They showed up for Saturn. They showed up for themselves. They showed up for the people involved. They did their Saturn.

You get the idea. Saturn. Saturn. Saturn. All week long. Do your Saturn.

Neptune is stationing this week and he¡¯s invoking the energy from February 8, 2010 when he entered his shadow at 25 Aquarius. He¡¯s going to back up for the rest of the summer. Think back to what happened in February around Neptune things ~ illusion, delusion, romance, fog, lack of clear boundaries, the rapture, the despair, and the desire for transcendence. Neptune is going to let you see the situation from then more clearly once he starts moving backwards toward the February events. He¡¯s going to give you an opportunity to revise or reverse them too, after you see them clearly. Expect the fog to break apart this coming Monday, Memorial Day in the States.

Neptune and Saturn are dancing with each other for the next month in an adjusting aspect of an inconjunct or quincunx so you will be asked to adjust, adjust, adjust. Know what your Saturn issues are so you can support your Saturn as you adjust. Know what your Neptune issues are so you don¡¯t get trapped or fooled by him as he disguises Saturn in a creative costume. Saturn. Saturn. Saturn. It gets easier next week. This week is the tough one.

The rest of the planets have cranky aspects all week even as the closing aspects of the moon are pleasant and easy going. So cranky to pleasant with a good outcome. Feel the cranky. Notice what it wants you to do. Go to the higher or highest version of the energy that you can find. Do your Saturn. Do your Neptune. Remember the REST of the WORLD is having the same energy in THEIR charts! They don¡¯t have the gift of astrology to help them figure out what the hell is going on and why they are so irritated or how to even work with Saturn and Neptune in a rational way. So help the people you like and watch out for the people you don¡®t like as they all struggle to pass Saturn¡®s final exams.

It also is a great week for people to PROJECT their Saturn on to you or others. So watch for that energy coming at you. If appropriate, you can politely, and nicely say, ¡°I don¡¯t believe this is my issue. I think it might be your Saturn.¡± If they roar at you, back off, change the subject or move out of the way.

There is a Full Moon on Thursday, May 27, making the energy of the week super emotional. The Full Moon summons up the May and June 2000 Great Cycle story as Saturn stations aspecting the conjunction in Taurus and the angles of the chart, cast for Washington, D.C. are at the same degree. Back to 10 years and 5 years ago to see how the life you are living is coordinating with your dreams. It is an emerging Full Moon, meaning it wants you to emerge from where you are to get ready to go where you are next supposed to head. Forward you go!

Finally, an ENTIRE COLUMN (maybe next week?) could and will be written on Aries changing signs from the mutable water of Pisces into Aries fire, I AM and what I WANT is combined with fast movements. From the end of winter of an old cycle that began back in 1927 to the spring and beginning of a new cycle starting NOW. Most of us aren¡¯t 84 years old nor do we remember what happened back in 1927 to 1934 except through the stories of others. But this week we start a new 84 year cycle! We have a new beginning of spring in our charts. WE have a new energy in our Aries house! We have a new energy making all of our Aries planets stand up and take notice. Uranus just entered the room! Watch what happens in your life mid-week to see where you are going to be spending the next 8 years of your life experiencing change, chaos, innovation, creativity, explosions and excitement!

When Chiron, the wound, entered Pisces, the ocean a month back, we had the oil rig explosion in the Gulf of Mexico and the oceans were wounded with oil. Oil and oceans both answer to Pisces. So watch for Aries (fire, fast, initiating, me first) being entered by Uranus (explosions, chaos and excitement). Interesting weeks ahead!

Monday is a dreamy and slow moving day for the mind as we adjust from the weekend¡¯s Saturn-Jupiter opposition. Expect to feel a bit tired and perhaps overwhelmed. Bad news from the ocean front as Juno and Mercury are not hearing good stuff. Moon in Libra answering to Venus in Cancer makes us focus on matters of the home and family. Moon has a decent closing aspect so things begun today go well.

Tuesday Moon enters Scorpio adding a bit of passion to the mix and making Venus a bit crabby. The closing aspects are quite lovely even if the days aspects are a bit on the disillusioned side. Again, the focus is on making sure you are stepping up to the plate and doing your Saturn and Neptune the best you can. When or if it feels overwhelming (or if you spot some poor soul crying in the corner) make sure to apply comfort and hugs. It is a I am the last person on the planet and no one loves me energy. One of my friends, Cathy Van Berkem, wrote the following poem which seemed to rather sum up the energy of today.

Query

These days I am without out line

A smear, a zephyr

A drift of mist.

Shapeless, and expectant, not sad.

What makes some descend into disappointment

As cloying as fine dust.

Closing doors in unfinished lives,

Their dreams dormant as mold?

Others face down

Early deaths, murdered love, peeling careers

Illnesses large and minor, soggy circling demons.

Yet still lean forward,

Still reassemble, paint in the borders.

Still sing.

Make sure to paint in your borders and sing today. While the future may feel a bit shapeless, it is arriving soon! Reassemble. Cathy assures me that reassemble means do your Saturn!

Wednesday finds Moon in Scorpio with lovely closing aspects of a trine to Uranus offering an opening to heal some old wound. After the irritation of last night, you are in the mood for better news. There still are many irritated aspects in the heavens so push on and toward the vision of where you want to go. Don¡¯t focus on rehashing same old, same old. Sure, you fought and are mad but what, if anything, is your vision for your future? Venus is trine to Pallas so pay attention to the strategy outlined in your dreams. Uranus in very last degrees of Pisces is looking to put the final touches on the project. However, it isn¡¯t quite finished. Vesta enters Virgo and wants to tweak it yet again. Tweak, tweak. No explosions. Vesta knows what she wants and she¡¯s telling Uranus. The feminine asteroids are mighty irritated today. There is an old, decrepit ending that you become aware of or have to deal with. Time heals all wounds, including this one, even if it is hard to cope with it. Again, with the stressful aspects, things that want to leave will leave. And if you don¡¯t like it, it doesn¡¯t have to be in your house.

Thursday The Full Moon report will go more into the energy which involves emerging from the endings or the holding place into a new space or evolution. Sagittarius Full Moon harkens back to November 27, 2008 when the New Moon took place. Last August 27, 2009, you had the test of the energy culminating before you now. Full Moon lay all the emotional cards on the table. Everything is there for all to see. As the Full Moon takes place a few days before the Saturn and Neptune station and as Uranus leaves Pisces, it will be a particularly powerful moon for endings and leaving. About 2 ¨ö hours after the Full Moon, Uranus switches signs, initiating his new journey into Aries and starting a new 84 year cycle. Very powerful energy is swirling around us even as we face endings we knew were coming. Moon¡¯s closing aspect is a square to Jupiter so expect over doing on all things begun under this Moon. ¡¡

Friday Mercury has you tossing and turning all night long and waking up from dreams that are disturbing yet powerful. Venus is arguing with Mars, who she usually loves. She¡¯s still feeling the overdoing energy of the Full Moon from yesterday amping up her insides and swirling her feelings. Mars is clear of his long, long, retrograde journey in Leo and chomping at the bit as he¡¯s finally caught up with her. He¡¯s excited to see her but she¡¯s not in the mood for him. It is a good day to pursue your own individual passions and meet up later. Too much togetherness can be a problem today. On your outings, notice who you meet as they can be important connections for your future even if you are not sure quite what to do with them right now. Save them. In a week or three, you¡¯ll get the great idea. Now you have to finish up with Saturn and Neptune¡¯s station. You can find yourself unexpectedly emotional today, particularly around news from or about a sibling.

Saturn¡¯s day Saturn is stopped dead in the sky so we will be tested by his mighty rings. Remember to buck up and do your Saturn. The planets are squabling with imaginary forces beyond their control and not happy about it. Mars wants to run and jump into the ocean and swim far, far away from where he is now. Mars is feeling so swamped with energy that he doesn¡¯t know quite what to do. The stopped planets and his upcoming opposition to Neptune are overwhelming. He¡¯ll plow through but if someone seems a bit egotistical or stuck in their own viewpoint to the exclusion of others, blame Mars. He¡¯s in it for what HE wants. He is not necessarily thinking about what the OTHER person wants. Moon shifts into Capricorn around 2:44 pm Eastern time so Saturn starts to move front and center. You can feel overwhelmed and like you are five. It can feel a bit hellish and overwhelming around 5 pm Eastern Time so plan on being by yourself if you can manage it. If you have to be with others, it is a good idea to busy yourself doing work. The evening is full of adjustments and the possibility of too much liquor or partying. Pace yourself. There is a sense of over doing before the inevitable let down.

Sunday finds endings taking place. Capricorn Moon has exceptionally positive closing aspects so the endings are actually GOOD things. Maybe not so much fun in the moment but great once you get a bit of distance. Saturn stations to move direct. Do your Saturn. Venus loses a love or beloved person or thing as she fights with the nodes. You may find out that a relationship is really over today. Mercury is arguing with Uranus in his new sign of Aries ~ yes, while you might WANT it to continue, the desire to NOT have it go on is equally great. Let the chips fall where they fall. While it is Memorial Day in the United States, the middle of a three day weekend, and the beginning of summer, we¡¯ll experience the ending energy of the weekend as being very profound. You might have to take action to actually pull the plug on a project or pet or idea of yours. On some level it is over. On another level, ALL endings mark new beginnings. Neptune is stationing today to go retrograde tomorrow. Neptune is forming an in conjunct with stationing Saturn, you¡¯ll find this one of the more transformative weekends of your life.

Usually I don't pay much attention to these but when I read Sunday's forecast - it really hit home about Venus' loss because I experienced one. A former beloved friend of mine for 7 years has left. The signs were clear that things have moved on and that there was nothing there. I don't want to go into the details and I am still reeling from the loss and in deep grief mode at the moment.....

So thanks for posting this!

I am sorry to hear that, Cynn.

Sometimes it`s so hard to let them go, even though you know it`s the right thing to do, and there is nothing left to say, nothing left to do.

I am wishing you strength.

Thank you DD! I appreciate your kind words....

I've been researching the seasons of friendships and I;m finding comfort there.

I always thought friendship was forever. I value my friends and keep them. People grow apart, I see.

Thanx again
