I don't know how many of us actually identify with our venus signs and see it play itself out in relationships.Yes, it is theoretically true that Venus Water gets on best with venus in water or earth , but is this really true as far as personal experiences are concerned? Based only on your venus sign and taking no other planets to the game, do you really connect with another "compatible" venus sign? for example: I have my Venus in Scorpio and connect best with fellow Scorpio venusians as well as venus in Aquarius. I don't have any special bond with Pisces or Cancer venuses as alleged and seem to consistently have love/hate relations with Gemini and Aries venuses. What's your venus signs and which venus sign do you get on best and worst with? IP: Logged |

Another Venus in Scorpio here. I also get along best with other Venusian Scorpios (we seem to really "get" each other), as well as those with Venus in Aries. Venus in Pisces and Cancer...meh. No strong affinity there. I like Venusian Virgos also. Venus in air signs tends to rub me the wrong way as far as romantic relationships. IP: Logged |

I have Venus in Taurus and I once read that Venus in Taurus people should be with Venus in Taurus people (romantically) b/c they truley understand the sensual need and can reciprocate it so wonderfully ~ also the devotion, faithfullness and committment......Can't remember where I read this? Was it LG who said it? I find that Venus in Earth and Water signs are more compatible to me than Venus in Air signs definitely, of course....... Well I did recently "fall" for someone who DOES have Venus in Taurus, (as well as numerous other positive + long term, aspects)however, considering he is a very elusive, slippery, Pisces fish with his head in the clouds I can't make heads or tails of him IP: Logged |

I have Venus in Gemini and I find that I get on well with other Gemini Venuses and my neighbors Taurus and Cancer. Tauruses, moreso than Cancer Venus though....the latter I find to be a bit chauvinistic sometimes (in males). As far as other Air Venuses go, I was once in a relationship with a Libra Venus, and I don't think I want to do that again. He was way too people pleasing and flirtatious. Granted, that's an accusation commonly hurled at Gemini Venuses, but honestly....sometimes our friendliness and desire for genuine conversation (not small talk) can be mistaken for other things. Plus, I have a need for my own time and identity and that didn't sit well with him. I haven't been romantically attracted to an Aqua Venus before, but I have had some as friends.
I do understand the depth of the Scorpio Venus due to the amount of Water in my chart, but I can't fathom the need to merge identities with their partners. My best friend has this placement and it drives me crazy because if I'm not left out in the cold, I'm swept up in the drama of her relationships. I tell her if she was more independent, she wouldn't have these problems, but I think on some level she likes things that way. Just based on my best friend, I would not want to date a man with this placement unless he had something in air or earth. I'm very Cardinal so I like my autonomy, and my Gemini Venus would like to keep its identity KTHX.

Cancer Venus here! Wow lol! No love for Cancer Venus up in here lol!I DEF get on with other water and earth Venuses, not so well with Cappy Venus but not in a bad way, I understand them. Their reliability is how they show their love so far that I have perceived. All in all, I get on with Cancer and Taurus Venus the best. ------------------ Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚ Gemini Sun 24˚ Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house) Gemini Mercury 25˚ Cancer Venus 29˚ (Mutual reception with Moon) And yes, i'm a guy! I've mostly dated Air Venuses. I have a Pisces Venus. I guess it would make sense that I attract Air Venuses since I am an Aquarius Sun/Libra Moon/Gem Rising.IP: Logged |

Venus in Cancer.I've never connected emotionally so well as with Venus in Scorpio. Male or female (romantic or platonic). I feel like i've been on a life-long quest to nab one. It's a bit strange to hear so many Scorpio Venus folks here say they don't care for Cancer Venusians! I seem to attract Sag Venuses like flies (albeit lovely flies!). I contribute it to my Venus in the 9th. I get on with all Venuses quite well, except for Venus in Aries. I've found them to be allergic to everything serious, and can be very pushy. And though fun and flirtatious, they don't understand my sensitivity. IP: Logged |

What relationships are you asking about; romantic, friends, family, or just generally.Venus in Taurus, here. I grew up in a family of six; 4 had Venus in Taurus, 1 Venus in Scorpio, 1 Venus in Libra. I had the toughest time with the Venus in Scorpio. As fate would dictate, all four Taurus Venus ended up living together, wasn't too unpleasant. I do attract a lot of Venus in Scorpio, but unless the Sun is also there, I probably won't pursue. I've had ugly run-ins with a Libra, above mentioned Virgo, and the Sagittarius with this Venus sign. Outside of my family, I haven't met a lot of other Venus in Taurus. As for the trine, Venus in Virgo I either find too snooty, or below my standards in grooming and hygiene. Venus in Capricorn, haven't met many. My two BFFs have Venus in Virgo, and Venus in Leo. IP: Logged |

this is not to say that I don't care for venus in cancer or Pisces but really haven't felt that "deep" connection as alleged by venus water-venus water interpretations. I have been in relationships with both venus in cancer and venus in Pisces. One venus in Pisces had his Sun in Taurus, though it was romantic, it didn't last or end well. The other ex had his Sun in Aquarius. We got on fine at the beginning but trust issues started to surface and before I knew it, he disappeared (literally) only to surface again with another person. I wasn't hurt or anything, I was just taken aback by that whole fiasco... The only Venus in cancer that I had an okay connection with had his Sun in Leo. He was a sensitive guy and sparks flew right from the beginning as we quickly bonded.
Things got monotomous and mundane as we progressed and the initial spark(well, atleast in my books) disappeared soon thereafter. Venus in Scorpio and Aquarius never fail to disappoint- nevermind the Sun positions- and to a certain extent Venus in Capricorn. The connection goes from strength to strength with the above pairings. About the only pattern I can see with me is that apparently I have a thing for air Venuses (specifically Aqua and Gemini Venuses). Most of the people I've dated or wanted to date have air type Venuses. I have a Virgo Venus, so it doesn't make a lot of sense, until you look at my Mars, which is in Leo. As for friends, their Venuses are all over the place. Family- dad and brother have Aries Venus, mom has a Capricorn Venus, grandmother also has a Virgo Venus. We are all full of fire and earth. I have a Cap Venus in the 3rd house. My Sun is in Sag.My social world is filled to the brim with people who have Venus in: ~Sag ~Aries ~Gemini My sexual relationships have been with people who have Venus in: ~Sag ~Aries (>1) ~Cancer (>1) My 4 longest-lasting, closest friendships are with people who have Venus in: ~Libra ~Sag ~Sco ~Gem I sometimes think of the other person's Venus sign as showing the traits I want to express with another person. If Venus shows what they're attracted to, and they're attracted to me, then I must have those traits when I'm with them. It's just a theory. ~Sag makes sense since that's my Sun sign. ~Aries fits since it trines my Sun and Moon and opposes my Pluto (chart ruler). I also find Aries goes well with my Moon-Uranus square: we both like an exciting race to union, punctuated with periodic withdrawals into independence. It's like Sco, but the handcuffs have a key. ~Cancer? Hmm, I guess b/c that's my Juno sign and I have my SN in the 4th. ~Gem bc it opposes my Sun sign and my Venus is in my 3rd house. ~Sco bc that's my Asc, Mercury, and Venus/Mars mp. ~Libra bc that's where my Sun/Moon mp is, cnj my chart ruler. I think Venus protrudes more in the personality than we care to admit.I am fast becoming a pro at guessing people's Venus signs and in some cases, it is peculiar to think how big the effect is on their overall projection. This is why I was wondering about other people's connections with their Venus as well as their respective partners. My observations and interactions:
With Venus in Aries, it is always quite messy. Two people I met had this position but both had Earth moons which I guess tailored the expression of Venus a little. I however do think that the expression of Venus becomes that much more "uncensored" when moon is in Fire, Air or Water. My sister has Venus in Aries with Moon in Cancer: She can get very aggressive and be pretty confrontational in social interactions. She , however, does tend to forget about it quickly and befriend the very person that she once considered her nemesis. LOL. Venus in Taurus is always so very sexy to me, regardless of how physically good-looking the person is. When Moon is in Air or Fire, it makes the person spunky whilst when in Earth or Water, they are just yummy(Well, at-least to me).
One friend of mine has Venus in Taurus with Moon in Pisces. He is very cultured and extremely well-mannered.(His sun is in Gemini) Another one has both Moon and Venus in Taurus and is Gorgeous. There is something mild-tempered and "capable" about the way he projects himself to others.(His sun is in Aries) Venus in Gemini can be playful and fun to be around but at times can be really annoying. This is especially true for me when the Moon is also in an Air or Fire sign. Venus in Cancer is sweet, warm and very nurturing...even more so than I think a moon, Sun in Cancer(if that makes sense).
This sensitivity is not affected even when the Moon is in Air or Fire. When it's in Earth or water,it can show itself fully. I haven't had the pleasure of interacting with the Venus in Leo yet.... Venus in Virgo can be sexy, in a very cool detached kind of way. This is especially true when the Moon is in Air or Earth.
My brother has his Venus in Virgo and so does my Dad. My brother is a chick magnet and my Dad still turns heads at age 55. My Dads moon is in sullen and controlled Capricorn(Cancer Sun) Whilst my Brothers moon is in Virgo(Libra Sun). Venus in Libra is quite simply the unequivocal nice guy. I don't know of any other Venus position that can honestly go out of their way to make you feel comfortable(save for Pisces I guess).
Physical beauty(if it happens to be the case) seems to just affirm popularity with this position. This is true when the moon is in Air, Fire or water. When in earth, they tend not to try so hard and maybe a little less concerned of what people think. Venus in Scorpio(the much hyped about Scorpion) is more difficult to assess objectively without being bias, seeing that I am this position. But I have observed with those sharing this position that there is something vaguely interesting about them. And one can never really tell what that thing is. When moon is in Air or Fire, they can seem a little more detached than how they really are. When in Water or Earth, the emotional nature is heightened and they can seem standoffish or "miles away". Venus in Sagittarius-No real experience... Venus in Capricorn always appears grounded and to have their ducks in a row(so to speak). This position doesn't project an appearance of someone who is not control of their life. There is something deliberate and exacting about the way they speak because the ones I know, always want to be taken seriously. My mom has this position with her Moon in Taurus giving people the impression of someone extremely capable and as such she occupies a very senior position at her workplace. Another one I know has his moon in Capricorn and is always busy, and I mean ALWAYS. I tell him that he is busy making money that he will never get to enjoy. Another has his Moon in Libra but still the same themes of hard work and diligence seem to be the order of the day. He is struggling to get his business off the ground because of lack of funding but he is not the type of person to throw in the towel and has been going at it for a year now.

This is just me but I would not get involved with a guy with Venus in Aries or Venus in Virgo. The Venus in Aries guy I knew wanted the girl to make the moves The Venus in Virgo guy I know is not comfortable with his primal drives. My Mars in Cancer needs a major push so that would not fit I am not condemning anyone. One man's passion is another man's poison. We all have to find what fits for us. Ami

AscTaurus,It's okay. I understand. Different strokes for different folks. I have a Leo Sun, by the way. I have also noted that the aspects that your Venus makes influences the Venuses you are "compatible" with. I'm very Plutonic to begin with, and my Venus aspects Pluto. That would certainly change our interactions, as compared to your exchange with a Cancer Venus who was not Plutonic (or Taurean) at all. IP: Logged |

I have Aries Venus. For a reason, I attract and feel attracted to Libra Venus people lol. Maybe it's due to it opposing my Aries Sun or the rest of the Aries stellium, maybe it's coz of my Libra Juno there, or maybe it's coz Venus is very aspected in my chart (although retrograde and in detriment). But well, I find Libra Venus' tastes weird at times lol. Although we share some similar tastes too.I guess that I'd get along best with other Aries Venus. I've met a person with that and an Aries Moon, and our tastes and emotions seemed similar and compatible. Maybe Sag and Leo Venus are fine too. And the air Venus too, although not as similar as the ones mentioned above (it's like less common tastes, but still find their tastes interesting). With other Venus signs.. With Taurus, I just don't find their tastes very similar or interesting (even thought I have Taurus Mars/NN), although I can get along with them and have a good time. Virgo's taste doesn't interest me much as well, even thought I have Virgo AC lol. Cancer Venus is the same, not very much interested in their tastes lol. Scorpio seems interesting, probably due to my Scorpio planets plus 8th house stellium (including Venus). Pisces' tastes and affections are interesting to me too, maybe coz Neptune is relevant in my chart and I have Pisces DC. But well, my tastes can seem a bit earthy/feminine still. Maybe coz of my Virgo AC. But then again, my tastes gets along better with compatible Venus signs. IP: Logged |
