Another thread in Soul Unions made me think on something. Sometimes I seem to forget that my Mars square Saturn/Uranus aspect takes place in Aries and Sagittarius. So in actuality, it's more positive than it seems because of the compatible energies. The problem is I'm still not seeing how that could be true based on my life experiences....especially when triggered by transit. IP: Logged |

I'm interested in this too! With any aspect and in synastry too. I can see how Aries and Sag might not get along though- is your Mars in Aries and Saturn/Uranus in Sag? IP: Logged |

Yes, Mars in Aries and Uranus/Saturn in Sag. If that conjunction was in Capricorn I could clearly see why they would but heads. Maybe because Saturn is afraid of Sag spontaneity, it has to stop Mars? I dunno. IP: Logged |

What is the orb for both squares? Uranus is more at home in Sagittarius than Saturn is. That could account for some strain you feel, but, actually for me, the way you phrased your question is vague. What are you having trouble understanding?Squares that are "in sign" are stronger than those that are out of sign. But orb is relevant too. IP: Logged |

Well some people say these types of squares are suppose to be easier because the energies are compatible, but I still feel the same type of difficulty as somebody who has the Mars in Aries and the conjunction in Cap. There's this peverse rebelliousness vs. life ruiners. The orb is 4 degrees for each square.

True the orb is close enough to be valid. Mars Aries is basically a powerhouse, Saturn can slow it down put roadblocks in the way, being in Sadge it's by the fear that comes with building a dream and a vision so that gets in the way of what Mars in Aries would like to do, and then Uranus while it's not as out of place in Sagittarius as Saturn is, Uranus will take the will of Mars and apply the force sometimes perversely sometimes an anger that comes out of nowhere because there are frustrations building up on different levels. Getting at Saturn would be the best thing to do, then once you have Saturn working for you, you can use Uranus to give your chart a forward push at full strength which Mars would love.IP: Logged |

Ah, now that makes sense to me Thank you. So I should work through Saturn first, I wonder how though....by satisfying it's caution first before going through with what I want? I guess so. IP: Logged |

I have Uranus in Sadge too, it's a huge marker of idealism and inspiration, but yours is conj Saturn in same sign, Saturn wants the road mapped out before you go off embarking on whatever sort of exploration you would like, this goes for travel, spiritual teachings and study, higher education, anything of that nature Saturn wants plans in place, a good steady map whereas Uranus wants to basically fly by the seat of its pants and go off unexpectedly to a different place, into a different study, etc. I have Uranus in Sadge sq my Sun, and I know all about 'taking off all of a sudden' haha. If you do Uranus by itself there's gonna be prob something that goes awry somewhere, and that something is likely Saturn saying, you forgot this, you forgot to think of that. Just get Saturn going and as long as its needs are met then it can join Uranus as far as you'd like to push it. Mars in Aries will add dynamic energy.IP: Logged |

You know what? That REALLY makes sense now. Everytime I've rushed into something head-first, it's pretty much fallen apart and I had to redo everything from top-to-bottom. The best example concerns my Degree. I thought I'd have this done in 4 years, I thought I could get away with 2 or 3 Cs here and there. No sirr....my program is so damn competitive that I've pretty much had doors slammed in my face for the second year in a row. So now I'm redoing alot of Classes that weren't exactly bad, but I just didn't apply myself enough. IP: Logged |

Yea I've learned the hard way with my Saturn, too. Stick with it, you're showing maturity IP: Logged |
