I know this guy who has a lot of hassle in his romantic dealings...I have no birth time for him but Im interested in these two aspects...his aquarian moon squares his venus in scorpio and it also squares his pluto in scorpio....would either of these aspects be the cause and why?

my boyfriend has moon/venus square.
i think these men in younger years can be at odds as to what they want in a woman because their ideal feels like it's at odds.
also i think frequently it means they have a hard time in understanding women in general.

not that a lot of men understand women lol

Maybe his mommy died? Or maybe he has to deal with the death of a female in some way? Either way he's destined to experience some intensity with love/emotions/woman. What house does it fall?

ooooh, yeah this sounds familiar. i've had 3 boyfriends with this placement and all of them wanted desperately to be loved but kept getting together with women who didn't love them in return. when they finally got it they didn't know how to handle it.

i think the one thing they all had in common was the mother was emotionally absent.

if the aspects are close enough he's going to deal with a lot of depth of feeling regarding the women in his life, all women. the losses that he experiences are meant to bring him in touch with what he really wants (venus) and really needs (moon). they're good for him because he likely wasn't even going after the type of person who would work well for him. but the loss for plutonians like him is devastating. ideally he'll learn to open up and be honest with himself and partners about what he wants and what he needs, and to be able to -trust- that he will get it in return. he needs a very loyal and stable woman because he may try to.....subconsciously jeopardize relationships. moon and venus connected to pluto so she will likely be water dominant or plutonian or scorpionic herself to be able to tune in with his energy for his benefit. another plutonian could ride out the
storms with him and be able to see them for what they were and not bolt. the more he feels rejected and abandoned the more closed off he will make himself.

Lonake, that sounds like a very accurate description of what he's been through...astrologically speaking what kind of woman should he be searching for???The last girl he dated had her sun and merc personal conjunct pluto and she left him because he made her so jealous apparently?

That's very true. I would say in general the Moon and Pluto is probably what makes him more distrustful, as that is connected to his experience of his mother as a child. I agree with the above statement, I have moon square pluto and venus opposite pluto (by sign and house placement) and I would say the fear of losing someone and having that placement is something I've experienced. I dated an Aquarius with Venus sextile Pluto, and Moon semisquare Pluto and he has BAD trust issues with women (plus his Venus is in Cap, which makes it worse) and he has a tendency to leave you before you leave him because he's so fearful of being abandoned.

I think the type of woman who would be right for a guy like this would have to be a water type, BUT with some Pluto aspects/placements as well. I would say a Pisces or Cancer without them would make them a bit too soft (I'm a Cancer, but I have a tough emotional center) and maybe the unkind words and silences might hurt them. On the other hand the mutual emotional vibes between them might be enough for the women to see through his defenses. Sorry if this goes on...I've been doing Calculus all day lol.

also, don't forget to take his ex's natal into account as well as their synastry, and future ladies, since we need to look at more than just his natal, since it's just a starting point.

I'm not a guy....

but I have Moon square Pluto, & Venus conjunct Pluto.

...to me, it constantly feels like unrequited love.

Speaking for myself as I have Moon& Venus connected to Pluto, the 'problem' if you will is the depth of feeling in the Pluto person, it can enable very close connection to someone who is similarly attuned but many times the other is not, and that is incredibly painful, and can sometimes be the case for the unrequited love. in other cases the rejection is a mirror of the self-rejection:
remember the myth of Hades (pluto) and Persephone, he had to kidnap her and take her to the underworld because he felt so undeserving and weak before her that there was no other way to have her be with him. male or female this basic myth is a part of the plutonian's psyche. it's a very real feeling. there are other angles to approach their behavior too but this is one of the basics.
