The Saturn-Neptune connection will not resolve itself on its own, both souls must be willing to work hard to heal together. To confront the 'danger' takes a very evolved soul and often I see one soul who is ready to deal with the karma and rekindle the relationship yet the other soul is not ready. This can be unbearably painful for the person who is ready to tackle the work. I should mention here that even if the relationship ends quickly, the two lovers will often continue to long for each other no matter who they are with or how far apart they are. That is how strong and binding this aspect is within a relationship.
I have
Saturn at 18Gem and he has Neptune at 20 Sag
His Neptune trines my Mercury,Sun, and Moon
My Neptune squares his Mars,Sun,and Mercury My Saturn in his 7th my 3rd
My Neptune in his 1st (conj ASC) my 8th
His Saturn in my 6th his 9th but on the MC cusp (opps my Eros)
His Neptune in his 1st my 9th. His Saturn semi sextile my Sun,moon,and Mars Saturn Sq Saturn :0 His neptune trines my Chrion then my opps Uranus then Sextile his Neptune. As you continue to work with a Synastry chart containing this configuration, look at the house placements of Saturn and Neptune. This will give some clue as to which area of life brought tragedy in the past. Ask yourself, why were these two souls ripped apart so abruptly? In many cases, one of the partners died a dramatic, sudden death, especially if the 8th house is directly involved. Often their very love for each other was their undoing, and the step towards their own destruction in the past. No wonder that these loves feel so dangerous and frightening! Interesting, His Asc conjuncts my Neptune in my 8th. My IC conjuncts his 8th house cusp along with my venus (only my venus at the end of his 7th)
I've known this guy for over 5 years, and just always kinda watched him..

Sat/nep would be way too generational to indicate anything of importance. Personal planets/nep is more telling, but that is also so generational.
I don't believe there is any astro indicator of past lives, but then again, I don't really believe in past lives, so I am not the go-to person for that subject.
I do think that if there are past lives, we would ALL have them, so you really wouldn't be able to see it in the charts in order to pinpoint it. And most likely, everyone you know would be from a past life, so there would be many many varying aspects of it -- not just one. If anything would represent it I would think it would be 12th house connections, since that's the house of karma. Saturn too, for the same reason, but like I said, I don't think you can see it in a chart. IP: Logged |

Thats true Diana. Someone who I def have a past life connection with has the following aspects with me: His Venus 13 Virgo & Mars 14 Virgo are conjunct my 12th House Cusp at 12 Virgo. My South Node is at 16 Virgo. Plus his Chart ruler is Venus so that makes his relationship axis (Venus/Mars) are conjunct my past lives (SN) His Sun is at 9 Libra conjunct my 1st house cusp at 12 Libra, but it falls into the 12th house. So it's the shadow of the 1st house; a painful thing. His Taurus Moon at 24 Taurus in his 1st house and conjunct My Jupiter 25 Taurus in the 8th house. This is where he got me; this is what made me fall in love with him. It's so strong because it opposses his Saturn. Can you say heartbreak? That's my past life connection. Oh and trust me, when you meet the person your strongest synastry aspect will be aspected by the transiting Nodes. This in definite proof that the meeting was meant to happen on a karmic level. Plus my Vertex conjuncts my 8th house cusp. I was meant to be hurt by this person. His Nodes fall on My Vertex, not exact but with under 3 orb. Oh and don't forget to check the rulers of the Nodes. My NN is ruled by Jupiter and SN Mercury.
His NN is ruled by Venus, SN by Mars. So his Moon is conjunct my North Node ruler and His Saturn opposses it. My Mercury at 19 Gemini is heavily aspected by his Chart, especially his Venus and Mars in Virgo, but not in a positive way. My chart aspects his Nodal rulers significantly, My Chart ruler Venus at 14 Gemini squares them exact. This is interesting to me.  IP: Logged |

I cant say that I have or do honestly believe in past life's, only lately have I looked into it. In the Article she does mention that you since these Saturn/Neptune connections could also be generational, she said it would depend on what houses they fall in. Only if it falls in a Karmic house, and then it would also aspect to the personal planets..
Important Aspects
The opposition is the most prominent Saturn-Neptune connection. Of course a person could have this contact with many people of about the same age, so it is necessary to note the houses and the inner planet contacts that Saturn and Neptune make as well. Saturn or Neptune is usually in a 'karmic' house: 1st, 4th, 8th, 10th, 12th. Occasionally it may be found that the Sun, Moon, Venus, or Mars is in a karmic house and in a close configuration with the Saturn/Neptune connection. Use an orb under 3 degrees for the peripheral karmic house contact if neither Saturn or Neptune is in one of the above houses. If either Saturn or Neptune is in a karmic house, I would consider aspects with an orb as wide as 10 or even up to 12 degrees, depending on the other planets involved. The contact to the inner planets can be major or 'minor' challenging contacts, including the conjunction, square, semisquare, and sesiquadrate. The sextile and semisextile should be considered as well. The more fluent trine can be significant, especially if in a karmic house but it will usually indicate an easier relationship rather than a desperate loss. Follow your intuition and trust your own judgment when working with the Saturn-Neptune connection. IP: Logged |

Usually Iw ould agree on SAturn-Neptune being too generational, but in this article she clearly states the importance of the personal aspects being part of this Saturn-Neptune aspects and even the personal houses.IP: Logged |

My boyfriend and I have Saturn and Neptune conjunct, falling in my 7th house and falling in his 8th.He has Saturn conjunct Neptune natally, though. IP: Logged |

Amowls,I think this Saturn-Neptune aspect could be very significant (only), if you have Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, ASC, IC or the nodal axis triggering it.
At least that would "personalize" that theme.
Even though it is already relationship-oriented, as it highlights your relationship houses.
Still I would look out for personal planets aspecting it. It doesn`t need to be a conjunction though. IP: Logged |

I dont know about the DW thing.. Of course it would be stronger.. But I can feel the difference, with this person, that I have never felt before. The emotions that I've had to face by being in this situation is explainable. I couldnt even understand why these emotions are there.
Logically looking from the outside, they dont make sense... I have always known there was something "else" about this person, I just didnt know what or how to explain it. I cant say he's a soulmate or not. But I can say that the feelings of immediate trust, and I know you, I feel you. Have totally changed me, and has sent me into different perspectives of looking at things. He is the reason why I came to astrology. I was trying to figure out what is going on. The feelings I have or on a different level. Extremely deep..... It just doesnt make sense why I have these feelings. I have to be able to explain things.. I need to know the whys... I believe in past lives and I really, really firmly believe that my ex-husband and I were together in a past life.When we met, there was this mutual recognition and things moved a long really quickly. A few years into our marriage, I started to delve much more deeply into astrology than ever before and I strangely discovered that we each had stelliums of planets on each others South Nodes. I always felt like he was too comfortable but also like he was holding me back from fulfulling whatever I was supposed to learn and achieve in this life. He was SUPER controlling of everything, but at the same time, it would have been really easy to give in to that and take the path of least resistance, because I had "everything" I needed materially and wouldn't have had to make much effort to "get by" in life. It would have been easy to just accept my lumps in life and coast along feeling unfulfilled and miserable. So we had a lot of South Node stuff going on. I had the Sun and Mars on his SN and Jupiter on his NN. He had the Sun, Mars and Venus on my SN. We also had A LOT of Saturn involvement and a lot of conjunctions on each others angles. IP: Logged |
