WILL DIANA LEAVE LL?

I don't know about you guys.. but that horary looks extremely significant with the Nodes conjunct the AC-DC and the AC conjunct AC-ruler (Moon -- which is significant anyway in any horary).

My interpretation is that Diana sees LL like "home" and she's not leaving LOL

You are the Moon, Diana is Saturn (if you name another person by name, they are represented by the 7th), LL is Venus (since it's an internet forum, I used the 3rd house). Saturn is making a separating sextile to Venus so Diana will part ways amicably from LL, but since the Moon is making an applying sextile to Saturn too, she will come back to you

Wow, who knew the 6th house could be so controversial!

Actually, Diana's departure makes me think of the 6th house since it was motivated by the way people respond to her sharing her astro knowledge, which is a service.

I hope she's not gone for too long. There are some reasonable people here too, Diana! Don't make my Sco Asc track you down at that hussy of another forum!

Since you're a Virgo with a 12th house Moon-Chiron cnj, my guess is that you're usually the one taking care of others. I'm glad you're getting back what you've probably been giving to others for a long time.

Thanks, Jane! Yes, you're right about the Moon/Chiron conjunction...I have always been the one to do the caretaking. Interestingly, he also has a Moon/Chiron conjunction in the same sign, and has said he has the same problem. I think it's nice the caretaking goes both ways.

As for 6th house controversy...I think it's controversial because it's similar to the 12th in the sense of its being hard to pin down. No one knows really what to make of those houses. On the most obvious level it's about service and if we continue the theme of that, it can mean anything, with nasty associations, like servicing others which makes the 6th house sound like a wh0re house (or, alternatively, a place to take your car ). It's very hard to pin down in terms of definition but then that's not too surprising since it's a mutable house, and mutable houses in general tend to be harder to define (kinda like the signs themselves).

I think usually when people leave LL there is an underlying reason for it - some thought has gone into it long before it happens - and some incident just triggers the moment for it. I don't think it's a spontaneous act with little thought. Most people come back. I hope to see Diana back here. Soon too. I think Diana always asks and makes interesting questions and contributions here.

Re: 6th house. Yeah, I agree with it being hard to pin down.

I have Aries on the 6th, so that house seems straight-forward to me. I think essentially it's about service in the sense of fostering well-being.

I think where it gets complex is how we view "service." To view it and the 6th only in a mundane way would be a disservice (hardy har har). As you said, that would make it the wh0re house.

I think I'll ramble now.

If we take the 6th to be our everyday material world, and the 12th to be the spiritual dimension that's part of our reality, then we can see how we serve our conception of God through the 6th house. The 6th is where, through the "work" we perform, we offer up our sacrifice to what we hold sacred. (Conversely, it can also be where we are humbled. The personal ego is sacrificed so that the universal ego can be strengthened.)

Our 6th house actions are motivated by our sense of love for the divine. The 6th wants to bring ourselves and others close to that source, right here in the world. A way we do that is by caring for and healing, since that helps people become more whole. The more whole, the more in touch with the divine.

This is also how the 6th leads to savoring everyday pleasures. We're feeling them as heavenly gifts.

On an unrelated note, you said in that thread that you often attract people to the house that holds your Jupiter. I think part of the reason you like planets in that house is Jupiter rules your 8th, right? Ignore this if it rules your 9th instead. If it is your 8th, then that could sexualize whichever house Jupiter lives in. (I agree that tsquare is a huge part of you liking those overlays too.)

You sum up the 6th house perfectly, Jane. I couldn't have said it better.

And yes, Jupiter does rule my 8th. I did think about that connection a little since it makes sense to me, just interesting that you would get it since it sounds obscure when I go and try to explain it (not when I hear it from you tho lol).
I think with my Scorpio 7th house cusp and Venus 8th house stuff in general Jupiter connections would feel natural as well, which they do.
My SO's Venus (chart ruler and apex of his tsquare conjuncts my Jupiter which also the apex of mine by like 2 degrees). I don't know if this makes a grand cross or what, but it feels like strong medicine (the yummy kind).
