Our week ahead moves us into the Eclipse season. The eclipses are coming! The Eclipses are coming! Expect many changes in your life and in the lives of the people surrounding you. Eclipses bring to light the hidden or not so hidden but not talked about situations and issues. The point of eclipses is to pop the hidden or not discussed energy out into the open. Eclipses release the energy so it and we can grow in a new form. Eclipses link up the Sun and Moon with the Nodes of Destiny so events taking place over the next month and a half can and will feel “fated”. Fate or perhaps better said, final or permanent changes that support our life path take place in our important relationships and our world.

Make sure to connect with all your family and friends who are having a hard time working with the changing energies. Especially focus on people who via their physical health or other emotional situations are struggling. It is an energy where people can give up or their body can give out. Last summer, when we got to the eclipses, we had a large number of people leave earth, particularly people who had nurtured us during our early years ~ via television, physically or psychologically.

But before all THAT eclipse stuff happens, we actually have a fairly nice set of energies to work with during this week. The nice energies underlie the major change energy floating around our heads and in our world. So first things first, lets focus on the week ahead as we skid and slide into the eclipse energy during next week‘s Full Moon.

Last week you received interesting or perhaps shocking news that seemed pretty final. This week you figure out what to DO about the news. Venus is very, very active! Venus is the planet of love, desire and has an active role in deciding and getting you what you want. She’s moving into Leo so she’s warm, vibrant and loving. She’s working with Jupiter and Uranus in Aries in a productive manner allowing her to ask for what she wants and get it, especially at the beginning of the week.

Mercury, the God of Communication, is zipping along in Gemini, one of his favorite places. While he’s helping you process what you found out last week, he’s making behind the scenes connections to smooth Venus’ path forward. Mercury and Venus are great buddies so they support each other’s dreams and visions. This week is no exception. Mercury acts as clean up crew for Venus. He explains what she wants as she can be a bit imperious in Leo ~ she’ll say it once and assume you know what she means. It doesn’t always work that way! When you question her, she can be a bit short or curt. Short or curt answers are not NO answers. They are merely short or curt answers. Listen for the signal to move forward or the lesson underneath the short or curt answers.

Mars in Virgo trines Pluto in Capricorn, again making a powerful aspect of culmination and completion. Something mighty important is happening in the heavens and down here on earth ~ pushing your Pluto to go the extra step (Or steps or mile) to get the job accomplished. Push yourself, even if you are a bit over tired. The energy is just too good to waste.

Underneath all this shifting and changing energy of the inner and personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars), the outer planets are still getting in alignment for the profound cosmic cross or t-square that will be forming over the summer that will rocket our collective consciousness right to a brand new level. The personal planets are urging you to pack, lay in some extra clothes (just in case), and move those last projects out the door and into the world. We are rapidly approaching a major crossroads in our lives and for the entire world. Be ready to roll!

The cranky, crabby or “short tempered” energy last week was due to Mars in early Virgo fighting with Jupiter and Uranus. It will ease a bit but will still be around as there are several inconjuncts in the heavens. Inconjuncts require you to live in the moment, adapting as the situation requires you to change. Stay flexible and on your proverbial toes. And if you find yourself feeling a bit cranky or crabby, take some time to nurture yourself. It means your Cancer house is in need of some TLC ~ Tender Loving Care ~ from YOU! You can’t take care of the world if you are not taking care of yourself.

Monday has a burst of activity as Venus gets ready to leave Cancer and enter Leo. Once in Leo, Venus trines Uranus to create a bit of excitement or drama in your life. Every one has a bit more energy as well as bit less time today. It feels a bit like a rocket taking off on your insides and warring factions will demand your attention ~ first this way, then that way. Your ego can feel a bit swamped or overwhelmed with the energy of emotions so focus on the short to do list and do it to regain control. Gemini Sun is a bit scattered when there is too much going on ~ he can have trouble focusing under high stimulation. Give him some fluid and calm him right down. Or offer to help him talk it out. Talking it out won’t actually HELP but it will give him something to DO with that busy, busy mind of his. Sun needs to connect with a live person to feel heard and seen OR he can stumble off to play word games in the corner or read a book. Give that extra energy something to DO! Venus has a harsh aspect to Chiron late at night so you might feel a bit snubbed or ignored by a short or brusque remark. No worries. They are feeling the same way. It is easy for the short remark to make the other person feel bad when what everyone is trying to do is connect. Try again another day. Moon in Cancer up until 8:38 pm EDT has lovely closing aspects of a sextile to Saturn suggesting things begun today are successful.

Tuesday is a fabulous day. Venus in Leo is trine to Jupiter and Mars in Virgo is trine to Pluto. It is a great day to get what you want from the universe. It is a great day to get what you want from anyone else you can think of to ask! It is a cosmic yes day! If you get a NO today, it is only because the request made was not your path. Mercury will be bending over backwards to get you what you want as well as offering plenty of strategic advice on HOW to get what you want. Once you GET the advice, make sure to TAKE it and go for what you want as Mars has your back and is supportive in strategizing as well as taking action to get it. By the end of the day, don’t be surprised if you have a brand new nest, home or place to rest your head. Moon in Leo is happy and is clear what the dream is all about. Closing aspects Moon separating from Neptune so it can FEEL like you are leaving your old life behind. And you are!

Wednesday is a very busy day as the asteroids are buzzing around, mixing it up. The overwhelm and reality of what you committed to on Monday or Tuesday can roll in today and cause a bit of emotional upset. What do you MEAN you committed to partner with this major change in your life? Once the emotions ebb, you will feel much better. Give those emotions a bit of time to calm down. It will all work out fine. What you are creating is the beginning of your dream for your future. It is not your mother or father’s dream. It is YOUR dream. Expect anxiety around 2:41 pm to 4 pm EDT as Mercury works out a plan of how to do it. You’ll be dancing around the phone, anxiously waiting for news. Once it comes, you can settle down and make a plan for the future. There is a possible fight around 9:21 pm EDT or it might be a simple misunderstanding. Clarify and continue. Mercury is stressed from too much work and that is what the source of the squabble was about. Uranus in hyper Aries barks or argues before he listens. We will have a summer of this so start to learn to listen and repeat what they said before you jump to emotional conclusions. Moon in Leo is fiery and passionate too. Take advantage of the passion to burn a path toward what you want. Clear some energy.

Thursday brings us another very busy day. Moon in Virgo helps us focus and build the to-do list for the major project we committed to earlier in the week. Sun is about endings and expansions ~ Your ego is ready to end things and move on. At the same time, the partnership energy swells and swirls before you. So what if they don’t understand what you want. YOU know what you want. So say it. Go for it. The worst that can happen is you won’t get it. But at least you asked. Mercury is simply brilliant today so give yourself permission to pat yourself on the back for a great idea, well done and well thought out. Venus is a bit nervous about the process before her and whether it can all be accomplished. The answer is yes. I remember hearing about the first McDonald franchise in Japan. The McDonald’s folks showed up in Japan to find the site of the opening store occupied by the previous tenants. The franchise was supposed to open! The media was alerted. It was a big deal yet here were the old tenants, working right up until closing. And then the construction forces moved in and built the store virtually overnight so McDonald’s was able to open as scheduled. That type of energy is available to you on this day. No worries about HOW. Just get the plan ready to go when you are given the launch signal. Moon in Virgo has lovely closing aspects for committing to some thing new and exciting in your life. And you can build it as fast as McDonalds was built in Japan!

Friday Moon in Virgo continues to be a bit thin skinned but accomplishes Sooooo much! Closing Moon aspect is a union with Saturn and probably feels like a solid marriage or commitment. Sun opposite Ceres suggests that the things we should go through be situations that strengthen us rather than rebate.

Saturn‘s day finds Sun square Saturn first thing in the morning. Make sure to write down your dreams. You might feel like you got up on the wrong side of the bed. You did. It gets better as the day goes along and the late Gemini Sun moves to square Neptune offering a chance to retreat in the early evening. Take it and retreat to think about your life and where you are. There is a feeling of not fitting in where once you fit in just fine. This is a great night for romance and love.

Sunday finds moon in Libra and very happy. Moon is answering to a happy Venus in Leo. Venus is feeling frisky and bringing all sorts of interesting dreams to the surface. You may also get news, perhaps shocking, of an ending or death to pull you back down to earth. Some thing or some one will support the changes you want to make in your life. So focus on what you DO have control over. There are multiple ways to do things. You or they don’t always have to control the process. Focus on the outcome ~ let the process unfold as it will. You can have fun this afternoon ~ the chitter chater or gossip is true and very mirth filled. Closing aspects to the Moon for thing begun Saturday night, or Sunday are excellent as Moon trines Neptune, making your dreams come true. Consider taking steps to beautify your home too! The planets are aligned with you.

Mundane: In addition to the lovely cardinal cross forming this summer, it seems the Sun spots are going to pick up too! Our Sun has been rather low on Sun spots for the past few years. Sun spots add to the volatility of the weather and can affect electronic communications too. In the past, they’ve wiped out satellites. Sun spots also contribute to civic unrest when they are high.
