I can't remember - I'll try looking up eclipse dates, to see when one fell on my Sun. This next one falls on my sister's Sun, which is in the same place as your own.

(I'd been paying attention to the eclipse articles, but it didn't sink in that it's next week. That would explain the answers I suddenly got about things I was upset about, but also unsure about in ways, in December and January - during the last set of eclipses. This is conjunct my third house cusp, and he just unexpectedly spilled.)

Well unfortunately my post is going to sound all doom and gloom so I shall precede it with stating that my Sun and Ascendant ruler was/still is under stressful transits/progressions and solar arcs. I don’t know if eclipses cause anything, I’m leaning towards the theory that they move things along.

A relationship broke up for me. The writing was on the wall for some time, we just didn’t want to let each other go. I think the eclipse just provided the fuel to finally bring it to an end. The Dec 2009 eclipse was conjunct my Sun, the next eclipse in January was conjunct his Sun. One month later we had parted after eight years together.

A friend who’s Sun was conjunct an eclipse last year lost her father. He was in his 70’s and had been recently diagnosed with a neurological disorder. His health declined dramatically within weeks of the eclipse and he passed quite quickly.

A work colleague has her Sun at 5.46 Cancer so she will be affected by the upcoming eclipse. She is not astrologically inclined yet yesterday she asked me if I could look at her ‘star sign thingy’, she says that she feels very unsettled and senses something is brewing.

I've just recently bought Celeste Teal's book on Eclipses and will start reading it this weekend.

anne ortelee talks about the eclipses as bringing things to light, or bringing situations to a head. maybe think about if there's something you've been meaning to resolve/deal with/face. she also mentioned that this one is kind of a redo of the eclipse in december 09. maybe think back there to see what was going on

this one is on my midheaven and conjunct the sun of my love interest, so it will be interesting.

Thanks ekf

There is something I started in Nov 09, but it will not reach fruition until the end of the year.

NEWBIE question lol
To see where the lunar eclipse will be in your chart, is it just the transit moon?

Yep, since this is a Lunar Eclipse (Full Moon in opposition to Lunar node) the Eclipse falls on the Moons degree
The polar side will also be effected.

A Solar Eclipse (New Moon conjunct Lunar node) falls on the degree of the Sun/Moon conjunction.

this sort of eclipse (full moon) means an ending of some sort. look at the house ruled by the Sun (leo on cusp), also your health, your husband or father, last the house it is in. it brings matters to a conclusion - so there will be something you know of, something that has been lingering for a while, something that needs a resolution of some sort.

TONS happening - but I think right now it's more related to this Jupiter/Uranus conjunction that unblocked every single situation I had in limbo for 1 year in less than 1 week!

I've just found this link on Facebook:
http://bigskyastrology.com/articles/eclipse/eclipses-aspect-planets.html

Teasel, it sounds like it definitely triggered your 3rd house.
BTW I bet your sister's a fantastic woman with that Sun placement

Actually, she is.

(Oh, I've just read the eclipse conjunct sun, and there isn't much to it, sorry.)
