That's a little strange because Venus in the 12th should make him very tolerant and almost selfless. But it can also indicate problems with emotional expression and emotions in general, usually caused by a subconscious reason.

Sun conjunct Pluto - power struggles, potentially overwhelming and dominant personality.

Moon conj. the Ascendant can make him emotionally immature in a way, it can make him identify with his own point of view so much that he can't see other perspectives and he can't remain objective.

Upon further introspection, there is no way I got the right birth time for him. I can't see him having a first house moon, not the way he is. I have to interview some more family members.

Hi CrabbyPatty,

The way you described him certainly does explain his 1st House Moon IN SCORPIO. People with Moon in the first do their own thing (that might also suggest his selfishness). With the Scorpio element that could suggest a strong element of "persuasion".

With his Moon conjunct Mercury in Scorpio it adds to him possibly using Mercury like a weapon, his language becomes a weapon, slicing people like a knife. Think along the lines of John Lennon when he would get mean.

He might be good at hiding these elements of himself for a little while because of his Libra Ascendant charm and because Scorpio's can be the most secretive people on earth. If you want someone to keep a secret for you, give it to a Scorpio unless that particular Scorpio will use it against you to blackmail you or something of that nature.

Now, the thing about using this type of chart without the numbers is that I can't tell which planets are conjunct there at the end of Sagittarius. Is Uranus-Saturn? Is it Uranus-Neptune? If I look on the outside of the circle it looks like Uranus Saturn, if I look at the big red thing in the middle, it looks like Saturn is alone. If possible, always use the chart that has the degree numbers next to the planets, the lines are thinner and it's easier to tell which planets are conjunct, also, please include the aspect graph.

Now, CrabbyPatty, just off the top of my head, I feel like I remember you having something significant in Scorpio, perhaps one or some of his Scorpio planets are aggravating what you have in Scorpio, it would make a lot of sense.

It also looks like he may have Mars square Saturn, if that's the case there may be something kind of brutal about him. With all that Scorpio and that Mars-Saturn square, it automatically gives me a "mafia" feel. There's some kind of strong rage if especially if his Mars is square to a Saturn-Uranus conjunction. And with Mars in Aries...and that square is all lined up at the Aries Point, his anger is very public and with the transiting Jupiter-Uranus conjunction activating that square, I wouldn't want to be around this guy at this time, either.

Is any of this making sense? Is he in business for himself (that you know of)?

Well, the Libra AC and Venus is going to give him the sweet talking power of Venus to charmingly get anything he wants and since he's mostly ALLLLL Scorpio (first house right out there) if he's not entirely enlightened (I'm guessing he's not from what you said ) then what he wants isn't necessarily something to be trusted or something honorable. So, he's got some pretty serious weapons at his disposal. He IS what all Scorpios who know nothing of astrology mistakenly think I am when they first meet me. They think I'm just as Scorpio as they (sun in 8th gives the vibe)... only using Venusian charms to fight my battles and win my way... which they aren't sure they can trust. This guy's got the power to do that and sounds like he's using it.

thanks, all of you, for the insights. Geo, yes, I'm a Scorpio, too, but an enlightened one... and maybe that's why he's irritating me. More later when I have time. I do appreciate the time you took and I will clarify later.

I will go with MVM's interp on this one Crabbypatty. It is his selfishness that is irritating you.

Libra Rising on men more often than not causes irritation to non-air signs, not everyone can appreciate their arguments all the time.

I have a good friend with this combination. He's a Scorpio with Libra Rising and even though we're friends, he certainly does have that quality. I'm a fire sign.

Hi Geocosmic,
My dad and brother are Libra Risers. I mastered the art of patience by listening to their arguments and denials.
Once my brother argued for an hour that in Star Wars, Senator Palpatine is not the Emperor. I also know a Libra Riser who insisted dozens of times in a cooked up argument that Argentina udner Maradona won the world cup soccer title in 1988 whereas even a kindergarten soccer fan knows it is 1986. This is in the internet age!

There is no way to convince some Libra Risers of any truth, perhaps it is their sheer joy of arguing the opposite position.

My younger brother is Libra Rising, double Cancer sun & moon.

My brother has NEVER been the argumentative type. He HATES arguing and confrontations and will bottle it all up but the thing about him is that I have NEVER seen him explode. All he wants is to keep the peace, its ME that starts the confrontations and brings things out into the open aggressively cos of my Aries Rising, Cancer Sun and Libra Moon. Being so ruled by cardinal planets, its ME that's the argumentative one.

So if he had a LIBRA moon, then I'd be able to agree with the above but Libra Rising, in my opinion, makes the individual a very "sit on the fence" type person who can't make an opinion either way. They tend to be very soft, gentle and pleasant.

Its the Aries ASC you gotta watch out for, they're the ones who are "me me me" when expressing a point or an argument and often can't see the other perspective.

Lol Ami, that's a very accurate description of a Libra moon. Coupled with an Aries rising, i should have gone and studied law rather than psychology lmao.

It seems Libra rising get the sweet disposition of the sign while the Libra Mooners get the lawyer in them hahahaha

Um, this guy is not argumentative. Just plain outrageously selfish. He isn't interested in being there for anybody else. It's all about him.

My mother (Libra moon) is very argumentative. Ami, sounds like we should compare notes!

Hahaha, I have a Libra Moon and I hate arguing. Sometimes it can create a sensation of adrenaline but at the same time, it can bother me a lot. And I have trouble choosing sides since I tend to identify with more than one point of view.

Ruben, totally agreed! I prefer to mediate in argument (Libra moon) but if its about something I'm passionate about, then I do argue my point till I win (Aries ASC)

I know what you mean. I'm sensitive to arguments myself, but the Libras I know (Libra Suns and Mercury usually) are sensitive to the point where they can actually annoy me. Recently, one of them reacted to the smallest sign of a potential argument in the conversation and she called me defensive when I was simply trying to explain the situation.

Lol its weird, when I was younger all my friends were Libra Suns, even though i'm a cancer sun. Sometimes I when other ppl are arguing in front of me, I just go quiet. Don't participate but I might offer an opinion later if its asked for.

My brother is a Scorpio w/ Libra Moon, and he's not the argumentative type. I know another Scorpio-Libra who is like this.

My stepmom, an Aqua-Libra is very argumentative & confrontational. I believe she has a Scorpio Asc.

A Virgo-Libra confessed: I'm through with dating, I'm a married birdie who likes to stay at home and argue with my husband.

One Libra-Libra was pure charm on the job, a workplace BFF, but confided how she plays rough & tumble with the hubby.

Another Libra-Libra was simply unapproachable on the job. Once in a while she'll arrest you with the Libra Charm, but on the whole was rude and unenchanting.

My buddy's Pisces-Libra honey is apparently a *** -for-tat artist. To live with him, is comparable to walking on eggshells. She won't know she's committed an offense until she finds herself punished. Once the issue is brought up for discussion, an argument ensues followed by more punishment...for her.

Now for the Scorpio-Scorpio, this as I've read is the Sun-Moon combination of Lucifer himself. I've met one, ultimately, I was forced to break all the dishes and dumped the contents on the fridge on the floor, I was that upset. I'm Gemini-Sagittarius, no saint myself if you're familiar with the shenanigans of Donald Trump & Naomi Campbell.

The Scorpio-Scorpio, I've read, comes in three distinct personality types;

1. The Dove. This one wants peace and harmony on the earth. He is also extremely rare.

2. The Corporate Executive. This one wants to soar the heights of the business world.

3. Lucifer himself. Sexy & alluring or utterly repulsive. This is the Scorpio that makes notorious the world over. You will be transformed after running into him.
