My current boyfriend said this to me: "When it's me against the world, I wonder if I might be insane. But when it's us against the world, it becomes a revolution."This is the Davison chart: http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee3/green_arrowXblack_canary/dwah.gif This is the composite: http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee3/green_arrowXblack_canary/bwah.gif Which chart do you suppose more accurately reflects this statement, or the inclination to make such a statement? I think it is probably the composite, because of the square to Jupiter in Aquarius. But both have the opposition or conjunction of Sun/Uranus and Venus/Neptune. Is this a coincidence or does this type of thing happen often in davison vs. composite? I suppose... what DIFFERENCES do Davison and composites have? If anyone has references to past threads or websites that deal with this please post because I'm having difficulty finding them! Thanks. IP: Logged |

""When it's me against the world, I wonder if I might be insane. But when it's us against the world, it becomes a revolution."LOL! I love this! I have a Jupiter in Aqua and so does my SO...in composite we have Jupiter Aqua in the 10th also, conj MC and he says the same thing!!! I think Aqua MC in composite will make you feel like close friends...and Jupiter in BOTH charts looks major and does have a tendency to look at things as larger than life. As for composite...you know, BECAUSE I have such a similar chart with him (same moons, rising, and Jupiter, as well as some other aspects) I use Davidson because technically doing a regular composite with someone who hs the same chart as I makes aspects just repeat in the regular composite. If I were you I would look at the closest aspects in both regular and Davidson composite and go with those since I have noticed that the aspects with the tightest orbs tend to be the most telling over time. But that's just me In the long run tho, nothing will beat out synastry. IP: Logged |

MyVirgoMask, haha, that is awesome. My bf has Jupiter in Aquarius in the 10th house in his natal, opposite my Sun/Merc, while mine is in the 11th house, conjunct his Venus and Merc, square my Uranus. We are unstoppable I tells you what. The synastry is just nuts in general... but we've already established that it is likely to never be a comfortable or predictable relationship.Davison does add another "detail" to compare the two charts with, so it makes sense that people born within a year of each other or whom have several similar placements like that might benefit more from the Davison than a composite. I will definitely consider that in the future, because I've had that issue with composites before. Thanks for the advice! IP: Logged |

Sure thing, Bopbop...glad to help a little. I've heard of another chart called the coalescent chart and it's kind of uncommon and not on astro.com but I've found it to be really accurate actually....just that I only know that you have to like get a program or software to it, which is not very convenient :/Anyway... nothing beats Jupiter at the top of the natal chart or in composite...it's so much fun, just boundless optimism IP: Logged | |
