An Astrology book had an interesting exercise.You sit quietly and try to feel your Venus.(I know that sounds weird  )
What would it say to you about WHAT you feel is beautiful.
Mine was clear.
Beauty can be words, deeds, food,music etc.
This was very beautiful to me--My music teacher's wife is a mid -wife.
A young unmarried couple had a Downs Syndrome baby which they did not want.
My teacher said that as long as HE was in the world ,the baby would have a place-- with him.
That exemplifies beauty to me.
I have a Gemini Venus in the 7th house with Taurus on the cusp.

Strange, unexpected things - are beautiful to me. (maybe that's more the house placement - 11th Venus).Eccentric art, in any form - whether it is a painting, a sculpture or a piece of writing. Romantically I find quietly starring into each others' eyes beautiful. I'm definitely a starer (Taurus Venus opp Pluto). I absolutely love the ocean. The natural world, authenticity, my own physical senses-all of them, artifacts. Venus in taurus conjunct midheaven. The stuff they say about taurus and the senses is so true, I use them all, I overdose on them in ecstatic solitude (pisces sun). IP: Logged |

I am a Taurus Sun with Venus in Taurus, so I totally agree with that!!! In addition to:

Wildlife
Animals
Flowers
Landscapes
Mountains
Colors I also find beautiful:
People's eyes

Hmmmmm....any kind of water, the ocean the most, but any kind of moving water with sunlight sparkling on it. Music black and white photos of people caught doing everyday things (I love National Geographic mag, wow, did that sound like a sag sun or what!) children, old people, babies, animals I don't know how to explain it, but the way a personal sets up their most personal space, like right around where they sleep, is something I find beautiful. Even if it's not.
I like to see their crushed out cigarette butts, the empty glass of whatever from right before they fell asleep. What kind of blanket they use. Whose picture is on their nightstand. Strange huh? Pouring rain, blowing trees, moonlit paths, shadows, etc... I can't remember all my Venus aspects. I never forget that it is conjunct the sun in the 8th though. IP: Logged |

-A really good ballad (one that gets to your soul)

-Old Bollywood before it became like Hollywood
-The Beach (the combination of the water crashing into the sand is heaven)
-A meal with the perfect amount of curry and spice in it
-Eyes
-History
-Frida Kahlo or Goya's stuff (I know, two totally different genres, but what the H....)
-amazing hearts and souls
-Mozambique
-nature
-Wild Horses
-The scent of a man with nice cologne on
-babies (not sure if I want any of my own though)
My 5th house Venus in gemini is unaspected and a singleton by classical standards, but I'm gonna go ahead and say that its dispositor is in Cancer since some of these sound Cancerian. My mercury is also sextiled by my moon, opposed by Neptune and trined by Pluto.
Some of the last ones sound a bit Taurean, which is my Jupiter. IP: Logged |

Ditto to Ami.Virgo Venus in 4th house, trine Mars and Neptune, square Saturn and Uranus, sextile Pluto. The other day someone told me about the slaughter of the Incas by the Spanish... how many of them died because they were holding up their king on a throne that took 20 men. When one was cut down another would come to replace him to make sure the king stayed elevated, instead of fighting. I found this idea beautiful and disturbing. I love very bright colors red, yellow, pink
blue, orange, any kind of water it relax me, I love flowers any color I have lots of them in my house, love books since I was 5 years old when I started to read, I am crazy about music of any kind, love to cook
I enjoy to be with very old people or very young ones, to make love in water falls, on the beach feeling the sand on my body.
My Venus is in Aries in the 10th house conjuct Sun in 27 degrees exact, wide conjuction with Mars in Aries, conjuct Mercury in Taurus it is conjuct NN in Aries in 25 degrees also forms a grand trine with Moon in Sag at 27 degrees and Saturn at 29 degrees in Leo, square Jupiter at 0 degrees of Aquarius 7th house never been happy in love. Venus and Sun are the most aspect planets in my chart I think they have about 9 aspects, when I love I love like crazy I give myself totally, I am a very expresive person I tried to enjoy life in everything I do. Men who genuinely love women, and are faithful to their partners/spouses. I love to encounter couples who get a real kick out of each other, have a lot of respect for each other - are kind to each other. Everything may not be perfect, but the love is there. Sweetness/thoughtfulness. Big old houses, that could use a pick-me-up, but aren't the cookie-cutter type thrown out by developers ("You can have plan A, B or C"). Oh, I remember reading Corrie Ten Boom's book about her family hiding Jewish people from the Germans. She wrote about how much fun they all had - nobody thinking themselves above anyone else. I love the amazing people who help others like that (which reminds me: I need to get that big book out of the library again, about the man who started the Underground Railroad.  ) After the war, Corrie took care of any surviving members of the holocaust, who came her way, and ended up helping former Nazi's as well. Hi Ami,My Venus in Taurus means that I like nice and green nature. I like meadows with green gras; forrest with nice trees in the spring as well.

My book says that Venus is about interpersonal love--love between people.
It is also about intrapersonal love--love for yourself.
It says that if Venus has hard aspects--it is hard to see and love yourself.
If anyone wants to talk about what they love in themselves-- that would be really good or how it is hard to love yourself.

Ami,Venus is not only about love to yourself.
Venus means also money (natural 2nd ruler).
I have Venus in 8th: I would like to get some inheritance. At least I was told so. Venus and me: sometimes I love myself, sometimes not. It depends from my health. My love to other people has nothing to do with my Venus. There was more about ruler of my 5th house, house of love (my case) that is in 9th house: love to foreigners. As I have Venus sextile Mars: I didn't have much problems with the men. I had (and still have) more problems with myself - Venus, ruler of my ASC. B. IP: Logged |

Ami,As Uranus has square with my Moon: I can break relationship, without thinking too much.
I can move to other place anytime (Moon, natural ruler of the home). Uranus means love for Astrology. Uranus trine Jupiter (double 9th): I love foreigners in abroad. I meet foreigners in abroad and not from that country. Uranus sextile Mercury: I have quick mind. For us people say that we are intelligent people. Uranus is higher Mercury and they are in good aspect. Uranus has trine to all in my 1st house: ASC, Juno, Chiron and Jupiter. Uranus is outcome of my crisis. Uranus conjunct NN: the World is my home. NN is 9th house: where is our NN (North Node), there we enjoy. There we are happy.NN in 9th means that help comes from the foreigners and from abroad. NN in Gemini means: Gemini people help me, what is very true. NN is good because has only good aspects: sextile with POF and trine to Jupiter.
NN has also trine to my Part of Illness. B.
