I have Karma at 27 degrees Sagittarius in the 5th house, sextile mercury. The sabian symbol is: An old bridge over a beautiful stream is still in constant use. I’m still pondering about what this means for me.

To be able to recognise more clearly how asteroid Karma impacts my chart and my life, I have been looking at each of my past Karma returns that I can remember, and have seen that each return accompanies significant change in my life. Karma returns seem to happen about every 4ish years.

Each Karma return has happened extremely close to the significant event (+/- 2 weeks).

Return 1 – Parents separate. Complete change in living arrangements.

Return 2 – Meet partner of long term relationship.

Return 3 – Long term relationship break up

Return 4 – Move state and start phd

So what is interesting and unique it seems about return 5, which is happening nowish, is that it is not asteroid Karma transiting over natal Karma just once, but because it goes retrograde, it is passing 3 times. From what I can see this hasn’t happened during past returns. So I wonder does it make this return distinctly more poignant than the others?

Return 5 – 1st pass: 2010 Feb – coincided with lots of drama in every single direction. I don’t think I can remember a time when there was this much going on that felt so negative.

2nd pass is 2010 July, and 3rd pass 2010 September.

So I’m wondering what the next two passes may bring. A little frightened actually. It’s also interesting to note how most of these Karma transits coincide with some pretty dead on hard Saturn and Pluto transits.

It’s also quite fascinating to correlate significant highs and lows with Karma transits to sun/moon/asc also.

So, just wondering if any of you guys have looked at Karma returns or transits to personal planets or angels and have any experiences or knowledge to share?

2nd Karma Return: june 1996:

i was 13yr old.this was a focus time in my Life,due to a school situation,which probably awoke something in my subconscious,i developed social anxiety.out of knowhere and it was the worst time for me,so young and not knowing what was going on. my friends though it strange and started to keep me aside,which i thanked intimately cause of the phobia.

i had a depression and lost a lot ot weight,my parents thought that i was anorexic.but i kept secret of what i was passing through,i was ashamed of all.

3rd Karma Return: 17yr old.

change of schools.from high school to college.at first it costs me a bit,was i was so happy and popular from my 15 to 17 there..

4rd karma Return: 21yr old

i was studying again to change college.i wanted to go to another school,the same as my twin wanted to go to.
it was significant as i met important people there who today are still friends.helped me deal with the social anxiety too.

5th Karma Return: 25yr old

i started reading books like The Secret,Conversations with God,Celestine Prophecy.
Later,through amazing synchs,i got to a forum,that has led me to meet wonderful people,that helped me walk through the path i choose f self-discovery and increased awareness of Life and My Soul.

This was the time of great changes taking place inside myself.I got to know more about me,my power as a creative Being,and as a perfect Soul.It has led me to a whole new perspective in Life.One that is hard sometimes,but incredibly fulfilling.

No, at that time it wasn`t my exact Karma-return, actually it was a few weeks after that. But the Return happened at approximately the time when I started planning going to that event, where I met him.

OH GOD, YESSS!

Yes, through that meeting I somehow got a different perception of myself. I don`t know it was just a feeling like he SAW me. Which means if he could see me, I must be real. lol

On top of that I was experiencing some strange spiritual sensation during talking to him and afterwards. Well his Pallas and Psyche is conjunct my Psyche and mean Lilith. Probably that was to be expected. lol

Coincidentally Tr Karma is now transiting over his Moon and my Sun, and will transit over the Juno-Moon-Pluto conjunction of the first meeting chart.
I rather not think about it too much.

And no, he has NO idea how influential our meeting was for me.

The Karma return chart it seems is very interesting to study and perhaps breakdown in a way in which you might for any other type of return chart. So I guess that given Karma is in your natal 7th house, and this particular return is occurring in your KR tenth house, ruled by mercury situated in your natal first house, these placements taken together may suggest that through the development of certain significant relationships at this time it is possible that you may discover many things about yourself and evolve further as an individual, perhaps allowing you to become more comfortable and confident within yourself, which has subsequently effected the way in which others see you. Your natal chart ruler is on KR DC and also loosely opposing KR Saturn, your natal 2nd house ruler, so perhaps such a relationship at this time is transformational in that is may make you feel more worthy within your own skin and highlight to yourself and others that you do have much to offer the universe.

AS far as I can tell it seems to be spot on.

Absolutely spot on. Well, there is no relationship, but yet I changed a lot in regards to relationships or the possibility of those, and the way I perceive myself changed, too. Or is changing, and yes I notice the changes around me, how others perceive me as well.

The angles are and housedistribution is repeated! That MUST be significant.
Pluto is conjunct Karma in the 5th house.
Very intense transformational karmic issues surrounding creativity, romantic / erotic encounters or expression or children.
Have you "died" and been reborn in a methaphorical sense?

The Karma Return ASC falls close to your Mars in Leo in 1st house - has your own strength been awakened? Or has it todo with either a real man or your perception of masulinity?

Ruler of the KR ASC is on the DESC. Wow!
A significant karmic relationship?
Chiron and MOon conjunct each other and Sun on the DESC.
Wait, you have a Newmoon in your Karma Return chart?
Did you meet your soulmate?
Or is this a reminder to integrate both poles of your psyche in yourself? Becoming whole so to speak?
Chiron conjunct Moon on DESC - are you being faced with emotional wounds in your relationship (or through the lack)?
Does it open a pathway to true healing?

Thanks for taking a look at my chart You are right in that the Karma return depicted in the chart I posted was from 4 years ago. I'm sort of in the middle of the current return because as I mentioned before there are three passes. Perhaps I will post the chart from the very last pass, which may be the most relevant? I'm not sure.

Anyways the return in 2006 was a very significant time for me as I made some very big decisions, decisions that made me feel that I was back on the my path again, perhaps this can be found in the alignment of angles. I think the 5th house is quite relevant in that I began a large project that was creative on an academic level, and this required relocating. This may be seen with my natal 4th house ruler conjunct the return. Also I find it interesting that the return ascendant is conjunct my natal mars, which is the ruler of my ninth house of higher education, the primary reason for moving.

yes, I have had the feeling for some time now that 2012 will be very significant for me, personally (that was before I heard all of that 2012 talk).

I am already working on it.

Well, I have been wanting to visit Glastonbury for some time now. Ever since I dreamed of that place, just felt this very strong urge and longing to go (back) there. But I also alway felt like it wasn`t time yet.
But I intend to go there in 2011 or 2012. Definitely.
I sometimes wonder, if, what I dreamed, was maybe not the past, but the future?

Actually we will do it together.

Yes, I think writing will always be a big part of my life.
And on top of that I am a teacher, so teaching IS part of my everyday life.

Sun is exact conjunct your moon! With Sun ruling the MC and your natal ASC.
Probably a time of deeply personal transformations, or even some kind of "coming out".
