This Solar eclipse has an incredible assertive energy going on; it also sits at the midpoint of a trine that spells trouble; and a couple of aspects are slightly outside my strict-but-constantly-stretching boundaries ( and this may be where you start to wonder if I shouldn’t ditch the 2 degree rule altogether; in keeping the rule I’m very careful about what I consider to be an eclipse aspect, and avoid ‘kitchen sink’ syndrome). As always, the variations are slight, and needed to see the complete eclipse picture. The eclipse begins at 12:40 PM PDT on July 11th, as Sun and Moon conjunct at 19 Cancer 23. The assertive energies are found in the Sun/ Moon still valid conjunction to Juno–think of a power figure who gets what they want by offering nurture, or by calling on the ties they’ve already created, and this may involve a sense of obligation, duty, or ‘I owe’–it’s the bargain this Sun/ Moon combo creates, and the sextile to Vesta/ Mars in Virgo says that there will be an accounting going on, likely of energy expended, and the one doing the counting will be prone to consider this expenditure sacred–and expect payback. Our Sabian for the eclipse degree is ‘A Venetian Gondolier Giving a Serenade’ The gondolier is, of course, singing because it’s part of the showmanship of his job; at bottom, he does a thing of beauty because he wants to get paid. That’s not to discount that he may love his role, that singing may be a joyous expression for him, and that his singing may be spontaneous, performed for any Soul within earshot. What it reminds us, though, is that life is about the flow and exchange of energy in all its forms, and that the roles we play (no matter how innate to our character or genuine to our Being) are played as part of a Universal agreement of exchange for mutual benefit–it’s a reminder that we must give what’s most true to our talents, and that we have an obligation to discover what those are. By implication there is also the idea that the farther we are from our best expression, the farther from that Universal ‘flow’ we are (and remember, flow goes both directions, not just toward you!) Does this suggest that the hovering maternal (for this is the essence of caring) to whom we’re obligated is really the Universe? A wide quincunx of the eclipse to Ceres certainly supports this, and a sextile to Sedna further implies we just can’t see this–and by ‘this’ I mean both how closely we are woven into the fabric of the Cosmos, and how what we see as obligations may really be opportunities to bring, somehow, more of ourselves forward. It’s an invitation to the Universal party, the one we signed up for when we commited to being here. It may, in the end, be a call to be more genuine, to refuse to hide parts of ourselves (and we hide our talents as much as we hide what we may be ashamed of, because our abilities don’t agree with our tattered and Self-imposed, socially driven image of how we think we should be–and that amounts to rejecting ourselves, and so rejecting the flow that’s offered–and my answer to that is, who do we think we are, to judge ourselves so?) This is a very positive eclipse pattern–so now you may be wondering about that trine I mentioned that spells trouble–and that is, the eclipse sits at the midpoint of the Sedna trine to Mars/ Vesta. This means both will be equally and strongly stimulated, and that implies we may not see (Sedna) how we may be prone to treat both our actions and our ego as sacred (Mars/ Vesta). It’s easy (the trine) to not see our own motives and aims–and the eclipse, which prompts us to action most genuine to ourselves, calls for that action to be in line with our talents and roles. A balancing act, to be sure–but one that must go forward, as the Cardinal placement of the eclipse insists we must act–and this influence will continue for six months, through to the next eclipse set. http://juliedemboski.wordpress.com/2010/07/10/11-july-2010-the-solar-eclipse-your-invitation-to-the-party/

5 years? Holy - moly I guess I am doomed then. *sighs* Actually for the last week I could not remember my dreams (except for the one with the trees), I knew I had dreamed but could not access them, which felt very odd and unusual for me (as I usually can always remember them). But my higher self picked THIS night to let me remember at least part of my dreams last night. Oh Jeez, if any of what I dreamed bears some meaning, I really am doomed.

New Moon AND Eclipse July 11, 201019:23 Cancer Sun and Moon 3:40 pm EDT 12:40 pm PDT New Moon Lunar eclipse The New Moon Lunar Eclipse cast for Washington, D.C. takes place at 3:40 pm EDT. That chart places the Sun, Moon, Juno and the South Node in the deep, hidden, secretive and profound emotional and psychological 8th house of Scorpio’s rule. The 8th house rules sex, secrets, death, taxes, releases, inheritances, the value from and by others, the method of endings as well as other people’s money. Gemini and Cancer co-rule this house during the eclipse. That suggests childhood or sibling tales or secrets will be told by Mercury in Leo and childlike, nurturing or family emotions will be deep and strong even as they wade through the swampy, murky waters of Scorpio’s house and release via the Cancer Sun and Moon. We will be working with very, very strong and profoundly emotional energies under this New Moon eclipse. The Sun, Moon and Juno suggest powerful financial and emotional partnerships can be either launched or ended under the eclipse. The ascendant of the chart cast for Washington, D. C. is 16 Scorpio, forming a trine to the Sun, Moon, Juno and South Node. The Ascendant forms a Minor Grand Trine with Mars in Virgo and the lights. Minor Grand Trines are good working energies that help us move things along in our lives and resolve them into a new form, in this case a new emotional form as the trine is between water planets and the earth Mars helps to GROUND the emotions and drain them out. The Minor Grand Trine is a lovely energy to clear out or work on tenacious issues that never seem to be resolved. Now they can be shifted and moved into a new or different form. As my friend Maureen said, “I have cotton padding over my buttons so no one can push them!” Look for the pattern recognition that this aspect brings. You put things together in a different way and are able to see or resolve things using new methods or approaches. Venus in Virgo is the highest planet in the chart making her one we want to watch. Venus is HIGHLY aspected by both positive and negative energies. She’s strategic when she’s in Virgo. She also makes plans and follow them. She collects data and works out puzzles. She’s pretty fussy too, as that Virgo energy can be TOO discerning and critical on a bad day. She’s placed in Capricorn’s house and approaching a trine to Pluto in Capricorn and the North Node of Destiny, giving her strength and an ability to either make or break partnerships. She’s invited to work in or evaluate triangles towards a new direction. Venus is opposite and separating from Neptune and Chiron so she SEES things now. She’s not looking through the fog. Or perhaps she is aware of things in a different way. The puzzle pieces make sense now where they might not have fitted before. The wounds of love are strong. The illusions of love are profound. Yet, we still love and seek that deeper connection in our life. Venus is also inconjunct to both and between the degrees of Uranus and Jupiter. This placement advises us to live in the moment and proceed with cautious, coordinated effort as we stay in the moment. No going forward. No going back. Live in the moment. The inconjunct suggests that while the adjustment may or might have been stressful at first (Uranus inconjunct Venus is separating), the adjustment will actually be terrific when it is complete (Jupiter inconjunct Venus is applying). All through the process before you, you need to live in the moment and make your decision based on your higher and creative vision of what you want from your life. Venus is ruled by Mercury in passionate Leo. Mercury just finished his trine to both Uranus and Jupiter so HE knows what HE wants. Mercury is inconjunct or adjusting what he wants with buddy Pluto’s version of reality ~ What is possible? What is doable? What is beyond what we’ve ever had to deal with before? Separating aspects imply that we get it now. The train has left the station. We are either on board or we missed the train. There is no more ambiguity. According to Bernadette Brady‘s book, the Eagle and the Lark, the eclipse is of the 12 South series. “This eclipse will bring successful outcomes to long term worries or illness. An issue which has worried or drained the individual for some time will at first seem worse and then clear, with successful outcomes.” If you go back in time to July 1992, 1974, 1956 and 1938, you will find related stories that connect to this eclipse. The lunation carries energy across time and space, linking us back in time in 18 year cycles. Over the past few weeks, as we’ve been in eclipse season things have come to light and shifted emotionally around the structures and routines in your world. Now, with the New Moon energy, your job is to come up with a vision of what you want your future to be. Make it detailed where you know the details. Make it clear where you can be clear. Saturn is at the last degrees of Virgo in the house of hopes and dreams as well as plans for your future so he wants you to be crystal clear (or as clear as you can be) about the who, what, where, when, how and why of your future. Mars in detail oriented Virgo is approaching a sextile to the Sun and Moon in Cancer and separating from a partnership with Juno. Many partnerships will shift under this eclipse ~ for good or not so good reasons. The shift is because it is time for a new life to come in. The shift is because you are about to grow, grow, grow! The shift is so you get the needed space and room to grow into your new life. The crossroads ahead with the cardinal t-square forming at the end of July will be when we actually take action to move. Now we are packing. Planning. Visioning. Dreaming. Clearing out the old life. We clear for a few more weeks ~ until July 21, 2010. At that time, Saturn moves into Libra for a 2 year journey and we say so long to the Virgo energy for 30 years. Right after that, on July 26, 2010, Uranus and Saturn oppose each other for the fifth and final time, on the world axis, making a public and crystal clear announcement about the changes we’ve been working on making in our lives since the fall of 2008. Your job under THIS new moon, is to dream your future (and how you are going to pay for it), end the situations that need to leave your life, and come up with a plan for the rest of the stuff that is staying in your life. Create the new focus. There is time for a last cosmic sort through of the old stuff with Saturn in Virgo poised to help you wash that mess right out of your life! Or to fashion style it into a brand new look that works for you. Start to move towards your new life. Take time to light some candles on the eclipse. Float your vision out into the world, up into the heavens, ground it down into the earth and send it off into the future. Rituals performed on eclipses are particularly powerful as you are harnessing the ego development energy of the Sun with the emotional growth desires of the Moon and linking them up to the Nodes of Destiny to take you to your higher vision of what you can have or be. Give yourself permission to dream big and bold on this eclipse as new arriving energy is coming right behind the old stuff. Move the old stuff right out the door and off to Goodwill or into the ethers. The mid-heaven of the eclipse chart is Leo encouraging you to move towards what inspires you and makes your heart sing. The lights are conjunct the fixed star Castor, the mortal twin born to Leda. Pollux and Castor were twins that had different fathers but the same mother. Pollux was immortal and Castor was mortal. Sibling issues can be a major part of the eclipse energy as the Castor suggests the mortal twin will die ~ not literally but emotionally. Or perhaps your twin soul will separate from you on some level. In the myth, when Castor died, Pollux asked Zeus to let him share his own immortality with his twin to keep them together and they were transformed into the Gemini Constellation. The pair were regarded as the patrons of sailors, to whom they appeared as St Elmo’s fire. Lynda Hill’s interpretation of the Sabian Image for the New Moon in Cancer is VENETIAN GONDOLIERS IN A SERENADE Commentary: ‘Venetian Gondoliers in a Serenade’ is a Symbol that speaks of the ideals of romantic fantasy. Although it can sometimes sound like an old cliché, the ‘Gondoliers Serenading’ is the sort of fantasy or special event that many people long for or desire. To be pampered, cared for and transported to a place of romance can be just what is needed, though there may be a need for caution if the romance is really a fairytale. Oracle: This Symbol encourages the breaking away from any restriction of expectation and letting yourself float on the pleasure of romance. Someone may be a little frustrated or bored, and looking to find ways to satisfy their emotional needs. This is not the time for seriousness, however, don’t be fooled by any insincere charades. You may need to develop trust in those around you to be able to surrender to your feelings spontaneously. If the circumstances are right, surrendering to romance should be enjoyed to the hilt. Don’t let doubts get in the way of love or passion; but, do be cautious that you’re not being used for someone’s imaginary or idealistic life. Look to see if you are ignoring the truth of a relationship in order to satisfy someone else’s needs. Read between the lines of what’s truly being said, or the emotions that are conveyed. Look for anything misleading or overblown. Someone may try to convince others of how good they are, or compete with others for love. Be wary of reacting to others who have recently come into the picture, especially those that are vying for affections. Those working hard at winning others over can lead to not being taken seriously. In the end, people get found out for who they really are. Seek out honesty and truth and love will fill your life. Keywords: Romantic fantasy. Singing and music. Performance. Public speaking. Impressing people with joy, romance, fun and the wonder of life. Venusian displays. Issues of the truth. Ease of communicating. Working to win people over. Appealing to the beloved. Elegance. Floating on the emotions. Festive atmospheres. Nostalgia. Boats. Water. The Caution: Insincere charades. Retreating into one’s self. Saying whatever it takes to get what one wants. Superficial displays. The delusion of being beyond criticism. Emotional manipulation. Sucking up to others. Misplaced trust. Competing for affections or attention. Losing one’s self. If music be the food of life, play on. William Shakespeare Anything that is too stupid to be spoken is sung. Voltaire Love is like a violin; the music may stop now and then, but the strings will remain forever. Anon The French are true romantics. They feel the only difference between a man of forty and one of seventy is thirty years of experience. Maurice Chevalier If you describe things as better than they are, you are considered to be a romantic; if you describe things as worse than they are, you will be called a realist; and if you describe things exactly as they are, you will be thought of as a satirist. Quentin Crisp Beware of over-great pleasure in being popular or even beloved. Margaret Fuller http://www.anneortelee.com/

Well...last night, I put in a craigslist ad to get new officers and directors. I had falling out with my vice president/secretary which led to him,a director, and the treasurer resigning from DNA. He wanted to sue our office landlord to get a carpet for our floor. He and the landlord don't like each other, and so I felt caught in the middle. I didn't want to get into a legal battle that would end up being very costly and hurt many people. Therefore, I put my foot down. He resigned as a result of that. I am trying to attract people that are right for the organization. I am praying that I can use the eclipse energy to draw in those people. I got matches from e-harmony, and I messaged some of them. I definitely want to use the solar eclipse to attract my future wife The Solar Eclipse-Juno conjunction in Cancer seems great for that. I think trines do work.
The Solar Eclipse-Vesta was trining my 1st/10th house ruler Mercury in 3rd when I started active duty in the US Navy on July 11, 1991 which was date of that eclipse. The DNA facebook group is doing well. 288 members since I created it the 3rd of last month.

I'm on e-harmony too, but I didn't get any matches today! I think I'm pretty bad at eharmony. Though I am thinking about contacting my ex...errr...boyfriend? Can't really call him that but we got into a fight on the last eclipse (which squared my Sun by a degree in his Moon by 2) and I haven't had any contact with him since. Still weighing that decision...

Solar Eclipse in Cancer Heralds Change New moons herald the start of the lunar month, and this one starts the cycle off with a bang. This month's new moon at 19 degrees of Cancer is also a solar eclipse, which means its energy is intensified and therefore longer lasting.
Like all new moons, this solar eclipse speaks to initiation. However, since it is an eclipse, it may come about in an unexpected or surprising way. This eclipse just happens to be favored by Mars in Virgo, which means that new beginnings will be very much enhanced by careful planning and efficient actions. Eclipses can only activate what is "promised" in the natal chart. In other words, if you have a natal aspect that indicates great wealth, an eclipse that activates that aspect could bring you a windfall. If you do not, the eclipse might bring you some extra cash but it will not be substantial enough to be considered a "life changing" amount. Although an eclipse may bring an event right around the time it occurs, it is not unusual for an eclipse-related event to occur days before or even months later. Whereas the energy of the new moon usually lasts for about two weeks, when it is a solar eclipse the energy is in effect for six months and sometimes even a year. If you want to know how the eclipse is likely to affect you, you need to know which house it falls in your horoscope and whether it makes contact with any of your planets, angles house cusps or other sensitive points. If you have a planet, angle or house cusp at 19 degrees of any sign or if it falls within 3 degrees of the eclipse point, this eclipse will affect you. If it is within 4 - 5 degrees, you may also experience it but its effects may not be as strong. Also, bear in mind that when the eclipse hits a planet or angle, it is not only going to activate that planet or cusp, but it will also activate any natal aspects to it. Below is a brief (and general) description of some of the possible ways the eclipse may affect you based upon which house it falls in and which planetary aspects (if any) it makes in your chart. If the Solar Eclipse Falls in Your: 1st House It’s going to be “all about you.” What’s more, as discussed in my previous post, this is an “angular” house, which means it will manifest in a way that will be visible to others. You may decide to change your personal appearance in some way. This could be as simple as starting a diet, beginning an exercise program, or trying a new hairstyle. However, because of the power of this eclipse, it could also be as extreme as cosmetic surgery, though there would also need to be supporting transits and/or progressions. 2nd House The emphasis will be on your finances, income, assets and personal values. It is possible that your finances or spending habits will change. You might take an action that will alter your income or you might make a major purchase. Your priorities could also change because you experience a change of heart regarding what you think is important. Depending upon the rest of your chart, this eclipse could make you feel more (or less) secure. 3rd House The emphasis will be on your intellect, local community, short trips, siblings and transportation. Depending upon other factors in your chart, you could buy a new car (or need to repair your current one). You might have the opportunity to take some short trips or become more involved in your community. You could also be more involved with your siblings. Another possibility is embarking upon a course of study, and if applicable to your field, you may encounter opportunities to lecture or promote yourself. 4th House The emphasis is on the home and family, and since this is also an “angular” house, the events that manifest will be of more public nature. Your parents or other family members could require your attention. You could move (local or long distance), redecorate or landscape your home. You might decide to purchase new flooring or furniture, remodel the basement or renovate your home in some way. Buying or selling real estate is also a possibility. 5th House The emphasis is on children, romance, creativity and recreational pursuits. Children, your own or someone else’s, may become more important in your life, and there is also likely to be an increased chance for pregnancy. Opportunities for romance may arise, and if you’re already involved, the relationship will receive more of your attention. You could become active in sports, start a new hobby, or try your hand at the creative or dramatic arts. 6th House The emphasis is on your health, pets, job, and work environment, including co-workers or people that you employ. Your health could require more of your attention, and you might begin a new diet, quit smoking or undertake a new exercise program. Your employment could change, or if you’re the boss, you could hire new employees. Another possibility is that you will get a new pet or existing ones could demand more of your attention. 7th House The emphasis is on your marriage and close one-on-one relationships. Since this is also an “angular” house, the events that manifest will be of more public nature. Relationships will be a major focus for you, and depending upon your chart, it could signify harmony or it could indicate working through problems. If you are in a client-driven business, especially one that involves some type of counseling, it is possible that your clientele will increase. 8th House The emphasis is on shared assets, investments, unearned benefits and intimacy. There could be a change in your partner’s income or assets, or you might experience a change regarding your investments, pensions or other unearned benefits. You might begin a sexual relationship, or you could decide to start seeing a therapist. Other possibilities include studying the “mysteries of life, ”receiving a financial gift or windfall, or being notified that you’re the subject of a tax audit. 9th House The emphasis is on long distance travel, spirituality, foreign affairs, legal matters and education. You could embark upon a spiritual quest, a course of study (academic or religious) or a long distance trip. You might decide to study a foreign language or publish a book. Legal matters could demand your attention or you could decide to become involved in a social cause. 10th House The emphasis is on your career, your boss, and your reputation, and since this is also an “angular” house, the events that manifest will be visible to others. You could experience changes in your career, such as a promotion or new boss, or you could decide to change your profession or start your own business. Another possibility is working more closely with the public or becoming involved in politics. You might take on a more visible role at work, accept a position of authority in your community, or perhaps even become a public figure. 11th House The emphasis is on your goals, friends, peers and large organizations. You could achieve your goals, set new goals or revise existing ones. You might join a country club, a humanitarian organization, a political party, or some other group that works towards social reform. You might also become active in networking events. Your social life might become very lively, and you may make new friends. 12th House The emphasis is on things that are hidden, which means that depending upon other factors in the charts, secrets could be revealed to you or your own secrets could be exposed. There could be a secret love affair, a greater need for privacy, and a desire for seclusion. Other possibilities include volunteering at a hospital or learning to meditate. Your intuition might be stronger. You could embark upon a path of self-help or seek counseling for addictions and a psychological breakthrough is a possibility. If the Solar Eclipse Aspects Your Natal: Sun The Sun represents the life force, as well as romance, children, our ego, self-expression and men in general. If it is a conjunction, we will feel energized and enthusiastic, and a new beginning or opportunity is likely to be coming our way. If it is an easy aspect (trine, sextile), growth is indicated. Self-esteem may increase, creative talents may expand, a new relationship may blossom, and men may benefit us in some way. If it is a hard aspect (opposition, square, inconjunct), we may encounter difficulty with men or authority figures. Our creative talents may stall, our ego as well as our physical body may feel drained, or we may feel restricted in some way. Moon The Moon represents our family, real estate, intuition, and women in general. If it is a conjunction, we might redecorate our home, consider moving, or in some way experience an addition to our family. If it is an easy aspect (trine, sextile), our intuition may increase, new women may enter our lives, and our family life is content. If it is a hard aspect (opposition, square, inconjunct), we may encounter difficulties in our domestic life, experience digestive issues, or find ourselves at odds with women. Mercury Mercury represents our intellect, siblings, transportation, local community, and the way in which we think and communicate. If it is a conjunction, we could begin a course of study or take a short trip. If it is an easy aspect (trine, sextile), we may finally sit down and write that book. We could become closer to our siblings or more involved in our local community. If it is a hard aspect (opposition, square, inconjunct), we may experience conflicts with our siblings or neighbors or our car may need repairs. Venus Venus represents love, money, beauty and the arts. If the aspect is a conjunction, an artistic talent could blossom, or it could indicate that a new love or new money is coming our way. If it is an easy aspect (trine, sextile), we may embark upon a makeover, discover a new interest in the arts, or simply have more opportunities to indulge ourselves in whatever we find pleasurable. If it is a hard aspect (opposition, square, inconjunct), relationships could be rocky. We might need to establish a tight budget, become narcissistic, or suffer the consequences of overindulging our appetites. Mars Mars represents our drive, our vitality and our sexual energy. If it is a conjunction, we feel invigorated. Our energy receives a boost, and if we’ve been ill, this is an excellent aspect for a quick recovery. If it is an easy aspect (trine, sextile), a new love relationship could be on its way. We also find ourselves engaged in many activities, and whether it’s business or pleasure, we are very productive and are able to further our own interests. If it is a hard aspect (opposition, square, inconjunct), we could become engaged in conflicts because we come on too strong. We can also be accident-prone because we’re too impatient or impulsive. Jupiter Jupiter represents expansion, abundance, excess, travel, spirituality and education. If it is a conjunction, we may actually get whatever it is we are hoping to receive. If it is an easy aspect (trine, sextile), an opportunity to travel or continue our education may be on the horizon, or we could become interested in a new spiritual belief. If it is a hard aspect (opposition, square, inconjunct), we may overspend, overeat, or overplay our hand. Our expectations about something may be disappointed, or we may find that people we relied on let us down. Saturn Saturn represents career, business, status ambition, and limitations. If it is a conjunction, we may begin a new career or have the opportunity to advance in our current one. If it is an easy aspect (trine, sextile), we may receive recognition for an accomplishment, or if we have experienced uncertainty in some area, this aspect may bring s the stability we need. If it is a hard aspect (opposition, square, inconjunct), we are likely to feel burdened in some way. We may also feel isolated, unappreciated, and insecure. Uranus Uranus represents “the unexpected,” which makes it very difficult when doing predictive work. However, it is also the planet of freedom, social reform and genius. If it is a conjunction, we are likely to be liberated from limiting circumstances. We feel more courageous, and we are willing to take risks. If it is an easy aspect (trine, sextile), we are able to make creative changes in our life, and we aren’t held back by what other people might think about our actions. If it is a hard aspect (opposition, square, inconjunct), we could be so eager to implement changes that we act too quickly and realize too late that we inadvertently “threw out the baby with the bath water.” Neptune Neptune represents vision, inspiration, confusion, creativity, and spirituality, and like Uranus, it is a difficult energy to interpret when doing predictive work. If it is a conjunction, we may feel inspired, or we may feel drained. We may see everything clearly or be overwhelmed by confusion. We could also become more in tune with our psychic abilities. If it is an easy aspect (trine, sextile), our artistic talents are heightened, or we may discover a latent talent for painting, writing poetry or music. If it is a hard aspect (opposition, square, inconjunct), we could experience depression or encounter some form of deception. Pluto Pluto represents power, control issues and transformation. If it is a conjunction, we are likely to experience a major change in our life, or we could reinvent ourselves on some level. If it is an easy aspect (trine, sextile), we are able to make tremendous progress regarding our goals. It is also much easier for us to heal ourselves on both the physical and psychological levels. If it is a hard aspect (opposition, square, inconjunct), we are likely to experience power struggles with others, and in extreme cases, we may experience a crisis. We may also become obsessed with a person or situation in our life. http://anchoredinastrology.blogspot.com/

Dear Venus in Gemini I am gonna explain what I went through during the eclipse. It seems strange. My Mars is almost 17 Cancer in the 9th house. My moon is 8 Cancer.I feel connected to myself in a more real way. I feel like I did when I was younger and more confident. I feel like I am worth good choices and worth upholding and loving. I feel the memories when I had good self esteem and I can feel how that felt, how wonderful that felt. I don't know if the eclipse shifted something or it was just coincidental. Any insights by anyone would be appreciated Thanks so much! Ami

I actually had a major bout of depression this weekend I haven't felt this bad in a long time (which is good that I don't feel this way often, phew). It was pretty awful. Didn't want to get out of bed. Wish the world would just go away. I have a lot of planets on 19 degrees: - Pluto 19 Libra (square the eclipse) - Uranus 20 Scorpio (trine) - Venus/Neptune 19 Sag (quincunx) Blah. Bad energy be gone! IP: Logged |

Ami, This eclipse was on the South Node, so it was a major releasing energy. Energy that helped you release some old negative thought forms and patterns that no longer serve you. If you think about it, we all hold onto that which is familiar and comfortable. Because we know how it works, we know how it fits us. It's like forcing ourselves to throw out those old pair of sneakers that look like they died, but they are just so comfy. The Universe is asking you to let those old patterns go, because they aren't relevant in your life now. To let go so we can move toward something new. Something I had read somewhere, and I try to remember it... is that the Universe is ready to fill your cup with something new. But in order for them to fill that cup, the cup has to be emptied first. IP: Logged |

I thought the eclipse was at 20 degrees Cancer? Oh well, its conjunct my Ascendant and around 5 degrees away from my Sun and I felt energized and free of the usually moodiness when I woke up this afternoon (after another bad night at work). I'm just not sure if this feeling will last though. IP: Logged |

I just realized somethingDevelopmental Neurodiversity Association facebook group's 5th/10th house ruler Venus is in 18'03 Cancer in 7th house, and the Eclipse was conjunct that! Today DNA group made milestone. It has over 300 members now. Last time I checked, it was 311. That is in only 38 days.
When I created the group, I had no idea that the solar eclipse would be conjuncting DNA's Venus.
I just wanted to create it with the strong Sun-Earth-Uranus Node alignment for collective matters involving uranian things like independence, liberation, innovation, computers, technology, unconventionality, change, reform. Perfect for an organization that I want to be international as well as world wide web. Earth conjunct Great Attractor in heliocentric chart. DNA's facebook Venus in 18'03 Cancer is trine my Mercury in 18'21 Scorpio and Venus in 21'47 Scorpio in 3rd house. So our synastry aspect was getting a shared experience transit from the eclipse.
