The eclipses are here! The eclipses are here! We stand in the middle week between eclipses, releasing, releasing, releasing as we move towards the New Moon Eclipse next Sunday, July 11, 2010. Release all sorts of things this week as the heavens encourages us to let go and move on. In addition to the heavens pushing on us to release with the eclipse, we have the cardinal t-square tightening as it move towards perfection the first week in August. The cardinal t-square will bring into high relief the energy fo change and transformation. The tension builds.

We have what I refer to as a “two page week” of aspects. A “two page week” means when I print the aspects out it took close to two pages to cover what is coming up in the week ahead. While you thought it LOOKED like a quiet week in early July, it is chock full of revelations, break throughs, break downs, break ups, excitements, changes, information and illuminations cracking our defenses and shells, freeing us from our past ties and letting us bind with our future. The aspects in the week ahead activate our chart to help us move forward through and past one of the most important crossroads in our lives. Life doesn’t get much more exciting or dramatic than this!

We have Mercury changing signs from Cancer where he feels profoundly and has few words into proud, clear and fiery Leo. Mercury has 33 aspects this week. We are going to be learning and hearing all sorts of things. We have Venus changing signs from proud, clear, passionate and fiery Leo to worry, work focused, single and earthy Virgo.

And we have Uranus stopping in the sky and reversing direction ~ asking us to go back and look at the creative and life changing stories taking place in our lives. Think back to March 19, 2010 and the events of that week. We are going to move backwards with Uranus over the next few months and work with him in a process that will unravel the developing story of our life. Once we unravel it, we will knit or weave it back into a new garment and proceed forward.

I often think of Uranus as the film breaking. We have a stop in the action. It allows us time to breath and think about things. Once the film is spliced back together, we get on with the movie. For those of you who never had home movies viewed from a projector with the film breaking and the white spots that signaled the end was near, watch “The Wonder Years”. The film breaks this week and we have a chance to reminisce about our lives.

I ran across a quote in my travels last week that struck me as something to hold on to as we move forward with all the Mercury aspects this week. It was not attributed to anyone.

“Speech is a vehicle for vows, but the sacred vows we speak are more than just words. When we make a promise, a subtle yet powerful shift takes place in our souls where intentions are housed. A vow is both a tool we employ in order to facilitate transformation within ourselves and an expression of will."

With all the Mercury aspects this week, you may be asked to make a vow or a promise to yourself or to someone else. Be aware of the power of the vow or words you speak. Mercury travels very fast right now and moves from 22:14 Cancer to 4:23 Leo ~ a rate of 1.72 degrees per day. That is not his top rate, but it is still pretty darn fast. Communications, data and information will be flying by you so pay attention. While you may not know exactly what it means when you hear the information, you will know what it means in a very short while. Pay attention.

The eclipse at the end of the week, Sunday, July 11 at 19:24 Cancer is a releasing and healing eclipse. It is time to release and heal. Let it go. Uncurl your fingers from it. Let it flow away from you. Often under this eclipse, new opportunities arrive in your life to heal old wounds or release them and their energy into the ethers. I had a body work session last week and worked on releasing betrayal ~ simply fab for a Scorpio Saturn gal. I swear I felt stuff squirting out of the middle of my lower back ~ right where that Scorpio energy of mine coagulates! Think about the area in your life, the what or who or where or how or when or why that needs releasing. And figure out a way to release it. If it is not possible to do the release physically or in person, you can work on other levels such as etheric, emotional and feeling level.

If you think back to summer 1992 and 1974, you’ll find you released something very important those years too ~you released things that led to healing in your life. Use the eclipse energy to clear the last blocks and get the stuff out of your life.

Monday, July 5, Uranus stations as Moon in Aries whips through the back end of the sign. Uranus has been building for a while. He’s stationing now to go back and see what he can see of an existing situation. He’s moving slowly so the point on which he stops today is virtually identical to his station on December 10, 2011 ~ a year and a half from now. The matter that comes to light resolves under the conclusion station 18 months from now. But for now, your job is to go back to March 19, 2010 and notice what was going on then when Uranus entered his shadow. A holiday in the states, we celebrate the Declaration of Independence ~ a statement about freedoms that totally fits Uranus stopped in the sky. Celebrate your freedoms, quirks and excitements. Mercury is talking with the Goddess of Discord, Eris, so you can expect discordant information or disturbing news that maybe you weren‘t ready for. Understand how you can partner with the news or work with it. Look for other patterns that make the news make more sense. There are many levels of truth out there. On some level, the news awakens a deep knowing inside your bones, deep in the heart of you. On another level, by having asked, you now know. Once you know, it changes things. Mercury’s biquintile to Neptune is helpful as it offers a flash light or spot light on how to handle things going forward.

Tuesday, July 6, Mars rules the day and takes his Virgo energy forward to move decisively towards what he wants. Moon in Taurus trines Pluto so dreams are deep and perhaps disturbing but very clear. Venus joins with Juno and says be strategic in how you approach relationship and partnerships. Mercury has a gift of brilliance to help you gather your team or support people together to rally and take action. You can feel unsupported today as Mercury points out how your nurturing or supporting a bad situation isn’t working. We do the best we can with the information we have at the time we make decisions. Today you may regret a decision you made. You can change it. You can also let it rest. Either way, know that WHEN you made the decision, you were doing the best you could with the information you had. No regrets. Note it and move on. Time is wasting. The world is spinning. Mars in Virgo is the mood to be strategic with the Goddess of Discord, Eris. Sometimes we fight or argue with people because it is familiar. Today you are going to look at the repetitive arguments you have with a slightly raised eyebrow. Why are you putting up with it? Why do you have the same fight over and over? Is there a better way to use your energy? You only have to move to a different part of the t-square to make the shift happen. Try it. Become Jupiter/Uranus in Aries and shout. Become Saturn in Virgo and clean up, quietly the situation. Become Pluto and triangulate the matter in a healthy manner so the secrets are not toxic. When you change your words you change your vows. Then the world starts to shift…. And magic occurs.

Wednesday, July 7 find Taurus Moon very busy. Things begun after 8:29 pm on Monday, all day Tuesday or Wednesday turn out very well as Moon trines Saturn as her closing aspect. All your work is FOR something! Venus is awakened with a brilliant idea which she must act on as she gets moving with her day. It is a Venus kind of day as she is busy, busy, busy. All sorts of movement on desire, money and love issues. Make the bid on the house. Apply for the new job. Buy the car. Ask your boss for a raise. Send out bills. List your apartment or house. Sell your car. Say yes to the cute guy or gal. Bat eyes furiously and flash those dimples of yours. Jupiter is dancing with Selena the Goddess of the Moon and sister to Helios, the God of the Sun. It is a great day for giving birth to something that will nurture you or shelter you for a long time. Selena rises from her day long bath from the Ocean to cross the heavens after Helios sets. She nurtures and guides in a clear and gentle manner. Selena was highly fertile with some 50 children so there is high fertility energy too. There is a dancing, singing and hand clapping energy to the day as you move forward through projects and tasks. Perhaps even a bit overdoing in that energy but still it is nice to have a hand clapping kind of day. Venus is so inspired by her aspect of brilliance with Jupiter mid-afternoon that she forgets her decorum. Next up is all the work to make it happen by the deadlines required. However, those deadlines are worries for another day.

Thursday, July 8, find Moon in Gemini and swaying back and forth as Mercury in Cancer is feeling the emotion of the earlier part of the week. Closing aspect here is a square to Saturn so it can feel like a cosmic no but it isn’t really. Just a case of nerves. Post activity anxious. Remember to breathe. Plus we have the eclipse coming in. With all the excitement, you might be in the mood to fight with family members or tell them to go to hell. Focus on YOUR plan and what YOU need. Keep your eye on your strategy. Sun and Mercury join so you can focus on your strategy and keep it in the forefront of your mind. With all these changes going on, you need your wits about you. Be careful with liquor or drugs as they can make your tongue loose so you say things you don’t really want to say yet. Partner with your self and take care of your security needs. Mars asks you to use the wisdom of your being and proceed with caution. Even if it IS true, you need a plan and a way to proceed. So take your time and take care of yourself.

Friday, July 9, Mercury moves into Leo where he is clear and proud ~ not nearly so emotional as when he was in late Cancer the last few days. Mercury works with Saturn to come up with a plan that helps. Again it is a super busy Mercury day that is full of connections and information. Moon in Gemini is initially blocked but finds out what it needs to do. Find out what you need to do to proceed. You will be supported in your efforts. Ask for help. Sun looks at the family situation and isn’t sure quite what it wants to do. No need to make a decision this moment. Gather the data and sit still until you are clear ~ crystal clear. No movement that hurts you or your vision. Be strategic. You can do this. Sun is quintile to Saturn suggesting your work over the past few years when Saturn has been in Virgo ~ since Fall 2007, had helped enormously with what you have to do next. Adjustments to the group are needed. You can do this. It is part of doing your Saturn. While the words or ideas or things you learn may hurt, there is a part that is deeply satisfying because you realize now that you were NOT crazy. Agree to look. Hold your own hand and look. Make a vow to look.

Saturn’s day, July 10, find Moon moving into Cancer and creating a few days where things work well and move fluidly. You might be in the mood to stamp and shout but what is the point? Venus goes into Virgo so she starts to take care of herself today. The drama of Leo is over. A friend of mine said “Leo’s love to get dragged through the mud!”. Initially, I was a bit shocked but eventually I realize Leos are hunters ~ giant lions in a human body. Lions stalk their prey, chase and tackle it, roll around in the mud and dirt before ripping the animal’s neck open, spurting the warm blood every where, including on them. So yes, I guess, Leos do like to get dragged through the mud. I think of them as sleeping and washing their paws. But they ARE washing the blood off. You may have blood on your paws this weekend. Or the desire to spill a bit. Consciousness. Focus. Is it worth it? Maybe you have better things to do? Sure it hurts but why go there? No need to get into a shouting match over it. Just see it and leave. Notice it and remember. Venus is inconjunct to stationing Uranus and Jupiter~ you may find you are sick to your stomach too. All okay. All part of release, release, release.

Sunday, July 11, is the New Moon Eclipse. Read the report on this site for more information on how to work with the energy. You might be up early or up all night but Mercury has a wonderful aspect about supporting you in your journey to expand and grow in the manner you are supposed to change. We often forget that the purpose of the Lord of Information and Communication is to help us see and understand. While sometimes we don’t want to know, not knowing is actually worse. If we don’t know, we can’t do anything about it. When you talk to family members who’ve lost someone to suicide, murder or simply disappearing, the lack of closure and knowing how it turned out or what happened to the person is the hardest part. Not knowing and thus not being able to do anything about it. So knowledge is good. Push back and look clearly. See it. Know what you know. Know what you don’t know and maybe don’t want to know. Live in the moment of knowledge. Once the light comes on, we see things in a whole different way. Emotionally, you can feel out of your depth or over your head. Let the emotions wash through. Once they recede ~ and they will ~ you’ll be fine. You have Selena ~ the Goddess of the Moon to guide you.
