How much Saturn is necessary or required for a relationship to be long-term? (in your opinion and experience)I do realize, of course, that there are other factors and other chart points involved. But let's just talk Saturn as far as helping to keep a relationship long-term.......... How many Saturn aspects are enough, and how many are too much? For example, I could have 1 positive Saturn aspect in a synastry and/or a composite with someone, or 5 positive Saturn aspects with someone. I know this is a general question but have always wanted to discuss it. Thanks IP: Logged |

Just came across this earlier... Mine is in the 7th house in Pisces and this rings pretty true as supported by Venus in the 5th. My Taurus Moon adds loyalty too!I will also agree that there is some sadness connected to relationships. This is definitely where I am tested the hardest. I always thought I was patient, but the Higher Power said "silly child, I will give you opportunities to learn and master patience." http://www.cafeastrology.com/articles/saturninhouses.html IP: Logged |

Yes, that`s what the Higher Power usually does, isn`t it? In my case it was: "You think you are tolerant and openminded? I will teach you what TRUE tolerance means." And made me fall in love with a gay man. Regarding the question: I don`t know if this can be reduced to a number of aspects. But I certainly would like to have more than 1 Saturn aspect, and form me it usually are hard aspects of Saturn to Sun and Moon (yes, the ominous squares), and usually they are pretty tight.

My husband and I share Saturn in Pisces and we are polar opposites so there are some "magnetic" energies at work here for certain. His Virgo Sun opposes my Saturn His Saturn opposes my Vir Asc His Saturn conjunct my Sun (so he is my teacher here...Yikes, I like to rebel against this one, how in the heck can he be wiser than me? but I'll have to admit sometimes he is) His NN conjuncts my Moon exact (more Karmic lessons to teach and bind?) One Saturn aspect from each side should do the trick.IP: Logged |
