I was reading how Venus in man's chart plays a role in what kind of women they are attracted to.

For Venus in Leo it says: A woman must be dressed exceptionally well as if she was about to take part in a beauty contest. These men are more inclined to enjoy women who wear a good deal of makeup and jewelry.

I know three men with Venus in Leo and the description above describes them perfectly. While I know many men that like women to look natural without much makeup, the Venus in Leo men seem to LOVE women who are perfectly dressed (feminine, elegant) with full makeup.

Anyone else have experience with Venus in Leo men?

It is funny you mention that cuz one guy I know ALWAYS had women who looked like that.
Every hair was in place. They usually dressed in dresses or skirts.
They were very made-up-----not the natural look at ALL lol
It was strange cuz each girl was the same in this way.
I was not in to Astrology at the time so would never have thought to relate it but I think it must be Venus in Leo as you described it.
My guy better NOT have Venus in Leo.
In fact--I will end it immediately if he does.

My father is an venus in leo man . He is 80 now and I think he love every woman . One woman told me my father is an old casanova.. Who knows. My fathers biggest love looks like his mother. She was one very buityful woman. He love woman with strong charismatic character. He love small and round woman. I really love my father and I see direct when there come a woman he like..

He love my mother also but not on the same way as he love the woman who looks like his mother...

i wouldn't necessarily call it "feminine" but my ex (venus in leo) preferred women who overdressed to those who understated their charms, every time. his current wife wears about a half inch of foundation at all times (not in bed)

It's true for a couple of guys I know.

I wouldn't say "feminine" women either.. since Leo is a masculine fire sign..
They like women who are well dressed and receive *positive* attention in public.
But they tend to like women who are also "in charge" in some way.. very confident and masculine in attitude.

My best friend who is a guy has Venus in Leo like me and dated this girl who wasn't that great looking but eight years later after they even got engaged he broke up with her because she put on weight.

I have Venus in Leo and my boyfriend doesn't stand out or isn't even that great looking but I like to dress up and look perfect so as a female I try to be that way myself. My grandfather has Venus in Leo and my grandmother was the most beautiful woman being a Taurus and libra moon she was always dressed well and well spoken and never left the house without make up and that's how she raised me too.

My uncle has a Leo moon and only dates girls he can show off. He's never been happy dating hundreds of girls ...

My ex husband has Venus in Leo.. Those descriptions don't describe me...

I don't dress feminine. I can't wear heels if my life depended on it...

I do wear make up though.. I think my husband was more of the I have to look better type... He spent more time getting ready then I did...

I know a man with Venus/Mars/Pluto all in Leo. He pretty much only wears Gucci, but his style is understated/GQ/classic/clean cut. He was quite attracted to me.

My style is quite like his...classic & clean cut. I dont follow trends nor dress flashy. I usually only use mascara & lip gloss. I never wear dresses/skirts/heels or get majorly dolled up unless it's for some big event.

I agree with Dynamite, that they tend to like women who're able to garner public attention in some way...which they could then show off.

I think 'gaudy' is the word you're looking for, not feminine. They find gaudy women to be very feminine, and thus are attracted to them.

I think a better term would be they like glamorous women, as opposed to merely feminine women. There are different types of femininity. Like a Cancer Venus would supposedly like a woman who is kind of like June Cleaver. A Leo Venus would prefer Marilyn Monroe.

And of course, you have to take synastry and the rest of their chart into account. My boyfriend has a Leo Venus (and Mars) and he likes me. I'm not really glamorous~~ but I dress strikingly. I don't even wear make up most of the time. However, his favorite actress ever is Penelope Cruz. Definitely a glamorous woman.

My cousin has venus and moon in leo and he has always had a skinny tanned fake extensioned to the hilt blonde on his arm....he just treated them like showpieces. I got to know one of them quite well because they had been together for about a year (for him thats a very long term relationship lol) and she told me that she knew deep down that my cousin couldn't give a monkey's about her really and would berate her for eating too much in case she got fat etc.....poor girl!

my hubby has venus in scorp.

he likes me to wear nice feminine shoes. which i like to shoe shop anyway...
not a ton of makeup. he says i am prettier without it.
he likes me to switch up my look alot. which i do anyway.

he does not like short hair on women. at all. he would prefer me wear my hair long and curly, how it grows, than to straighten it curl it what not...

he won't act jealous, but its under the surface, he would hurt any man who messed with me. love me some venus in scorpio! (mars leo, i understand it well)

he loves my independant spirit and likes to do a lot of stuff together. even if i am painting he will always try to just be where i am actually thinks he is the one man who has ever loved me for who i am, not what i look like or what i can do for them.

My maternal grandfather had Venus in Leo, and that wasn't true for him. My mom's biological mother fit the description, but not my stepgrandmother who he was married to for 40 years until his death. He was with my mom's biological mother for a year and probably less than that.

The condition of the moon can give clues to what a man looks for aswell...looking at both the venus and moon positions and aspects made to them both can tell you a lot about what a guy prefers.

My fiance has Venus in Leo and he doesn't give a care if I have makeup on or not- actually, he tells me I look great without makeup on. He doesn't seem to ever care about how I look- he always tells me I'm beautiful.

The part about Venus Leo men liking feminine women seems true though. With him it's definitely true. I am very feminine and the girls he dated before me were as well. I guess he just goes for natural beauty more than made up "beauty."

He doesn't like people that act fake. Unfortunately a lot of women that put on makeup act very fake. Not all! Some women do it to enhance their features, which is what it should be for.. But some other women just try to paint their faces on every morning and he really doesn't like those kinds of girls because they are usually deeply insecure and those kinds of girls tend to to not be very loyal. Loyalty is very big for a Venus in Leo man. Especially a Leo sun, moon, and venus man like my fiance.
