I wrote you the LONGEST reply and it was so huge I couldn't post it buuuuuuut....

I just wanted to let you know that I looked up the asteroid Germania and where it fell in my chart.

It was the 12th house, as I suspected. That means I definitely had a past life in Germany at some point.

That is all

Lmao oh, aren't those particular past lives fantastic? I reckon your gemini influence may have something to do with that open minded attitude

Dunno what it is, but lately I've been fascinated by past lives and its residue effects in this life. For example, my bro's gf's (and my best friend) aunty had real problems getting pregnant, like miscarriages and IVF not working, the poor woman, but she went and did a past life regression. Apparently she saw all her past lives and in most of them she was raped and abused, I suspect she's had lives where she was a prostitute too and everything she saw she felt.

Good news though, it released all that toxic energy and not long after she fell pregnant. She's got 2 little girls now It makes me think there could be something in this.

In relation to astrology, I've found that the 12th house reveals a lot in terms of karma and past lives, especially when its connected to the 8th (and 4th, but lesser so). I've read some texts where they call it the junk house where all the crap goes but it also represents another world or realm altogether.

My theory: Anything to do with the 12th shows evidence of past lives. If you have someone's planets falling in your 12th then to me, that means you've had a past life connection with that person and karmic lessons to teach other in this life.

In my case, anyone with pisces planets I have a strong past life connection with. That includes my mum, dad, psycho ex, ultimate best friend, head-doing love of my life and just recently, my little cousin who was born early March this year. I met him for the first time Sunday and the connection and bonding of that first meeting just hypnotised me.

Sorry for the essay. Just thinking out loud and musing. I wonder if anyone else has had similar experiences or if I'm just thinking and talking sh*t haha

I think the same way. 12th house is very much the past life house, especially if connected to the 8th. If it is in synastry, often the past lives will have involved death and loss, sometimes also taboo-relationship (particularly, if also the 5th house figures in, and I had one special case where the 3rd house also figured in. I do not have to explain this any further, do I? 3rd house, 8th house, 12th house - you can connect the dots).

I have Mars in 12th house, even though I am completely peaceful and striving for it, several of my past life memories involved warlike scenarios and also me as a warrior. I am so not warriorlike though.

For me the 12th house is end of Scorpio, beginning of Sagittarius.

Its ruler, Pluto, is in Libra conjunct the Midheaven, the most visible spot in the chart. So the most invisible house wanders to the mountain top where everyone can see it, screaming loudly HELLO.
Well, as it is Pluto, he is more staring intensely.
Somehow my past lives seem to, I don`t know, be public?

EDIT:
My Jupiter, my chartruler, is on 11 Pisces, along with Ceres on 9 Pisces. Is this already in your 12th?

asteroid Mesopotamia is in my 12th house conjunct Valentine - I guess that means that I had been in love in that particular past life.

Germania is not in my 12th house, but exact conjunct my Moon, which rules my 8th house. LOL
Roma and Ur are also conjunct my Moon.

Well my 8th house ruler Venus is in 12th in Leo. I am not sure if I believe in past lives yet but I'm open to it I guess.. My planets all fall in my exes 12th house too and I can swear by it were like brother and sister or family. Even though it's been ten years it's always felt that way. I winder if in a past life he was my brother or something hahhahaa

Belgz,

well, past lives is one concept. Of course the water houses will also work without the connection to past lives. In that case you will probably (just) notice a deep emotional soulbased connection, these people will get under your skin, and yes, they might feel so familiar as if you have known them before.
Past lives is one concept to explain that deep familiarity, but an interpretation works even without it.

Personally I believe in past lives.

Anyway, I am curious. did your 12th house or 12th house ruler aspect ruler of 3rd house or planets in 3rd house or even Mercury?

In that one case I mentioned.
His Karma was square my 3rd house ruler; my Karma opposed his 3rd house ruler.
his 1st house ruler (Mars) was exactly conjunct my 12th house ruler (Pluto) on my MC.
His old 12th house ruler (Jupiter) squared my 3rd house ruler. his old 8th house ruler (Mars) conjunct my 12th house ruler). and so on.

Belgz,

I don't think you're considered a prostitute when you are servicing a king. I think you then become a "concubine". It's more of a privileged title. I'm gonna double check on that.

I like the word concubine more.

You can see its meaning "con-cubare": to lay with someone.

Royal prostitutes are called courtesans.

"Courtesan" is an even prettier word than "concubine"

In most societies, courtesans were treated with honor and privilege. They were often quite wealthy due to the gifts they received from their lovers.

There is such a thing as the peaceful warrior, there's a couple of books written on it that I cannot remember now but will get back to you when I can remember it. One is by Paolo Cheolo (my favourite writer), that I'm sure of.

Possibly, the Mars in your 12th signifies that while you were a warrior in your past lives, maybe in this one you deserve a well earned rest!

As for the 12th house synastry thing, the love of my life (and the bane of my existance), as mentioned his venus & mars are in my 12th and his moon is only just over my ASC. Even more interesting, my moon is in his 8th, my sun falls in his 4th name asteroid falls in my 4th house.
My jupiter also falls in his 12th, I heard that's like a guardian angel placement (not in synastry but under some other context) and I'm always the one there for him, every single time.

As for my 12th, nah there's nothing in there. Its 1/2 pisces and 1/4 aries (if that makes sense lol) so anyone's planets falling in the 1st close to the border are tend to have that karmic bond as well but not as much as the full on respect and admiration that comes with someone's planets in your 1st.

"asteroid Mesopotamia is in my 12th house conjunct Valentine - I guess that means that I had been in love in that particular past life"
That sounds interesting. Goes a bit more deeper into asteroids than what I'm used to but I should get into it more cos it seems there's heaps to learn from them.

Belgz
i get what you mean about the whole brother/sister thing, that sort of closeness. I can't describe or define it in words cos its so under the surface (very 12th house lol). My psycho ex had planets and his ASC in my 12th and that was a very deep, tight and spiritual bond that was very hard to break.
I feel like after knowing this current 12th house connection I'll never be able to love with my soul like that again. Hard to explain.

In the synastry where my Moon, Sun, Venus and Mercury are in his 12th house--it is an unexplainable kind of feeling.
You ask " WHY do I feel this way?" You don't know--in words.

Ami
PS I have Neptune in the 12th and that feels good. It feels like I can know things I need to know and that gives me a security.
If I ever fell far down again, it would not be without so many gut feelings I would have to ignore.
When I have fallen in the past, I ignored them.

Courtesan - yes, right, remember that one. Like it.

In Rome it were the "Hetären"; well educated young women who chose wealthy lovers to entertain.

Diablo,

yes that is an interesting thought. The peaceful warrior - I like that.

I was also thinking that maybe 12th house planets are some kind of "reserve". Like you don´t even really know that you have that kind of energy, but if everything goes to hell, this is what you are falling back on, and what is supporting you from a deep place.

I often noticed that I have the greatest energy, when I in fact should be really tired, worn off, in times of challenge and greatest stress.
But when everything is going smoothly, I do not even feel my Mars at all.

Yes,DD, that is a good explanation of the 12th house Mars--- like a hidden resource.
Neptune in the 12th feels that way for me.
I can call on a Higher Dimension when this world fails me.
I wonder if other people with 12th house planets see them as hidden resources.
Books always portray them as "bad"i.e hard, burdensome.
I ,always, thought of them as planets in quicksand.
You have to struggle so much just to pull them out of the mud and to express them.
I wonder how Venus in the 12th would figure in as a resource.
