so over the past few months, i have been eagerly anticipating a new love interest in my life.
my solar arc venus is exactly conjunct my natal sun. and in my solar return chart for this year there was a sun/venus/midheaven conjunction.AND i did a horary asking if i was going to meet a serious romantic partner in the next 3 months. it said that i had already met this person. and i couldn't think of who it was. turns out, it was this guy who had been pining over me the last 1.5 years without me knowing. composite sun in the 7th house with the north node, moon in the 5th. there is lots of chemistry and a feeling of comfort.
venus conjunct mars in the first house, talk about eroticism...whew! it is definitely palpable. i always feel like people around us can feel it or sense it. even when there isn't PDA going on, i feel like people can tell. :-D uranus conjunct the ascendant from the 12th house. we do look "funny". he is 17 years my senior. he is jewish and i am black. definitely makes people very uncomfortable and they stare and try to figure out whats going on. 
synastry really echoes the composite or vice versa. his mars conjunct my pluto definitely speaks to the chemistry between us. his saturn square my venus speaks to the age difference. both of us have our 7th house rulers in the 3rd house. mine is the moon. and his is neptune, but his moon is conjunct the 7th house cusp.
he is an english teacher and poet and we met at a reading for a book written by a mutual friend. super 3rd house! there is a DW venus/mars sextile and venus trine venus. both of us have mars in scorpio. 10 degree orb. definitely a feeling of a good match. i've always dated guys with 3 or more planets/points in fire even though i am soooo earthy. and it feels so good to be with a person who is also very earthy. any other insights or input would be greatly appreciated.  any other insights or input would be greatly appreciated. thanks Ami Ann.it does feel warm. his energy is so grounded. he helps me to stay in my body which is generally very difficult for me. and i can feel his energy on me hours after we've parted physically. you are so very welcome for the chart analysis.  IP: Logged |

the interesting thing about synastry and composites is how aspects in individual charts, between the 2 charts and the composite are all echoed. for example, at first i was alarmed by the sun opposed mars in the composite chart. but then i remembered that both of us have sun square mars in our natal charts, and DW sun square mars in synastry: even tho my sun square his mars is wide, its square by sign.also, the uranus on the composite ascendent from the 12th house is interesting too. he has uranus in the first house of his natal chart with an 11th house sun in leo. i have uranus in my natal 11th house and am an aquarian sun. kind of like a uranian stamp or color all around...electric blue! both of us have natal jupiter in the 12th and of course it shows up in the 12th of the composite.
2 things that stand out and tht i would someone else's insight/input on: composite saturn conjunct part of fortune and composite north node in the 7th house...

It would seem that NN in the 7th in composite would mean that you BOTH have the life goal of forming a serious,commited partnership.
Uranus would be a part of any relationship that outside of conventional norms ,be it with age, ethnicity etc.
More conventional people (would that be more Saturn like??) would never go to places that more Uranian types would. Ami I think you and he are gonna build something special in the coming months.

thanks ami ann. we'll see how that goes.i forgot to add the vertex. it is pretty tightly conjunct the sun in the 7th house. its got all the "good" stuff. we'll see how it goes. we went on 3 dates in one week. and not he left town for 3 weeks. i'm happy and excited about it. feels good. i will definitely keep you posted. I would like to spend some time looking at the charts and looking up meanings on line. However, I feel reluctant(and like I am embarking on too much lol) cuz you are so much more advanced than I.

i was just posting to see what other people saw. i'm inside looking in. i know what i feel right now, but it i would like to hear about other's points of view on these charts.
on another note, i just checked teh asteroid valentine. i usually stay away from asteroids cuz it can just get to be too much. but turns out his venus is tightly conjunct my 8th house valentine, in virgo...interesting.

Dear ElectricMars conjunct ASC shows lots of mutual attraction.
It is in Scorpio and Mars in Scorpio is the best lol
Neptune in the 2nd may show deceptions or rose colored glasses as to the material world and it's needs.
Perhaps, planning in simple material ways is hard or not what it seems such as where you will live, joint finances etc
Saturn in 3rd looks like struggles in some third house issue which could be anything the third house rules.You know what just hit me-it may be a relationship which involves commuting.
You have Pars of Fortune here and that brings joy. So, you will have joy in some 3rd house sphere such as in communication .
Also, you said he was a poet so his field IS communication.
There will be joy as well as Saturn's influence in the affairs of the 3rd house.
