Planet in sign is HOW the energy is manifested; planet in house is WHERE the energy is manifested, did I answer your question?IP: Logged |

planet in sign: mars in libra
the planet is the raw energy.
mars = how you go about getting what you want. so desire.so, mars in libra may not go after something if they feel like it would upset the balance of a situation. i think this person has a hard time buckling down and making hard decisions. they may often feel torn between different desires, feeling like if they pursue one they will forsake the other. that is a feeling that mars in libra cannot bear. this person can see all sides of a situation when it comes to following their heart's desire. sometimes they just don't know what their desire is. they may be more sensual than sexual, depending on where venus is. mars in libra in the 10th house: this person may feel a sense of confusion surrounding their life direction or career. they may not feel confident pursuing their 10th house calling for fear of rocking the boat. this is a person who may be stuck in a 6th house life style: day to day with no real goal of "purpose" planet in a house however is where there is a concentration of that energy, or where it is more apparent. hope this helps. I will try to give an example from my chart. I have Gemini Sun, Gemini Mercury in the 8th house.
I am a Gemini in that I must communicate. It is like food to me lol
I need to write and talk (communicate) about things that are important to me
The planets are in the 8th house which is the house of underground or taboo things.
I feel a need to get to the bottom of deep subjects in life.
I write about them and talk about them.
The 8th house is Scorpio
's natural house and Scorpio is the sign of anything that goes deep--the detective, the surgeon etc.
I need to find deeper meanings in things. I wish I didn't
