Cue the sniping and clawing out of eyes that has gone on over the past week, with our poor 2 other group members stuck in the middle. The crazy thing is, this is all online! I've never met this woman in my life, but I'm sure if we were ever in the same room, the tumbleweeds would start blowing across the floor. Then tonight even though the 3 of us decided to submit my draft, we find out she submitted a second secret draft behind our backs to the professor and passed it off as group work! Just when I had forgiven her for the other thing--I felt so betrayed! Oh the drama!

Initially, I felt like she was trying to take over and was a control freak. Now I just think she's a jerk in general. I've made no secret of my dislike for her. It's mutual. Our birth date is available in our student profile and she shared her place of birth in her student intro, so I was able to put together a chart, but I don't know her birth time so I used noon.

At first glance, I would think that with Moons exact conjunct we would get along famously. Those Moons are at the apex of a Yod though, so they're being challenged. Initially the vibe seemed rather nice...what the hell happened?

she has got mercury conjunct saturn in scorpio in her 10th house. eek!

as a capricorn rising, i can admit that we can be 'kind of' bossy. i also have saturn in the 10th in scorpio, but mine is conjunct mars.

mars in the 7th composite house is prime for being open enemies.

I hope none of the Scorpios on here take this wrong way because I love my Scorpios, but as soon as I saw the chart I went, "Dangnabbit! I should have known!" Especially with this sneaky submission of the second draft. She just HAD to have her way and didn't care who got steamrolled in the process.

I mean quite frankly, after the tongue lashing I gave her over writing up her own draft, I totally expected her to slink away in defeat (not many people can withstand one of my verbal slicings and dicings), but she has not backed down at all. A worthy opponent! She comes across as much older...it wasn't until I did her chart that I was reminded that she is only 24.

That t-square is pretty tight and horrible. And there is a LOT of fixed energy in this synastry. A recipe for disaster.

I usually get along so great with Scorpios, this one I want to choke until she turns blue.

You are virgo sun who is meticulous in tasks, which is a way of being controlling.

She is scorpio sun, which is controlling due to power issues.

You have mars in leo, which can be controlling (fixed -- sun, ego).

I can't tell if her mars is anaretic in virgo, which would fit with what i said about virgo above, being anaretic would be the icing on the cake.

Her pluto is on your venus, so you view her as controlling. She may view you as superficial and whiny, a ***** .

There are a lot of conjunctions (it appears) in synastry. I've found that to be highly annoying, personally. I worked with a guy whose planets hit all of mine and he annoyed the hell out of me. People who saw the chart thought I and he would like each other and have major chemistry, but we didn't at all. Our angles were even the same and same moon. It was too much damn energy. Conjunctions, if there are too many can have the opposite effect than people expect, because they are a hard aspect. I actually think the square and opp are easier to deal with, but I have a lot of conjunctions in my natal.

You both have moon in taurus. Umm, I don't even need to elaborate on that one. Fixed again and very stubborn.

I didn't look at the comp, bc the synastry said a lot and I am not feeling well.

I think you may be on to something with my Mars in Leo though. I have to admit that when she "helpfully" took it upon herself to write up her own draft while my power was out, my first thought was, "How dare she usurp me!" That word actually was in my brain. Usurp. Very Leo, non? ::hangs head in shame at own arrogance::

As far as the conjunctions, that's interesting, because I did have the thought that, if she were a man, I'd think some of this was pretty good synastry. I usually do well with conjunctions, and conjunctions in Scorpio...oh my! This is terrible, though. You're absolutely right, it does feel like oil and water every time we're forced to interact.

Maybe I've had bad experiences with the stellium...in general, I have nothing but good things to say about Scorpios, I'm pretty Plutonic myself.

Did you know you have no Air? Well you have no planets in Air, only the NN and 2 angles.

ETA: That's ok Nicki, I hadn't seen your chart, but yes, now the present company excluded includes you as well.

I always find people with complete lack of an element or singleton planets fascinating because I wonder how they incorporate that missing element into their lives. Do they feel it's lack, etc.

I know, such a shame to waste good synastry, but perhaps I should be looking for October 1985 born males hmmmmmm!

Popcorn--well they say that love & hate are two sides of the same coin but I don't think we'll be experiencing that result here. Cool story though!

Her Mercury and Saturn is conjunct your Uranus.
