does anyone have experience interpreting transiting Node aspects? i found one site explaining it, and i believe i read a similar thing somewhere else too. http://moonvalleyastrologer.com/moon_nodes.htm
according to above site,"the (transiting) South Node conjunct the North Node indicates broken relationships and unfortunate connections. The latter combination frequently times mishaps, accidents, and unusual circumstances".
when me and my BF finally overcame numerous obstacles and turmoil over the years and came together, tr. SN was conjunct his NN by within 1 degree.
i HATE to see astrology as something that predetermines our lives. but the above interpretation just sounds like a dead-end without space for constructive interpretations. i know also other transits come into play too, but to see how our relationship just followed the scenario, prevented and tampered by all the circumstances around us like it was some destiny, it largely discourages me. i decided to leave him. but he's my life, he's my everything. i don't want to leave him, but if i stay, i will be destroyed.
can it really be that our relationship will always be followed by turmoil and sorrow, because tr. SN was conjunct his NN when he became my boyfriend? so it's best i leave it, because it'll always stay a "broken relationship" no matter how strong our love is? or it needs a "re-do" of the beginning, like breakup and start on a better transit day!? (but that just sounds superstitious)
