Topic: Not feelin' the forecasts...

Hello Knowflakes,This is my first post, though I'm a long-time reader. I've been reading my forecasts for the past couple of months on Susan Miller's site, as well as CafeAstrology and a few others. Though I find them to be good, and somewhat on the mark, for the most part, I don't really feel that they apply to me. I'm rather excited to see if this major grand cross will affect me in August because my sun sign is cardinal in Cancer. And I have my birth time so I check both Sun and Rising forecasts.... but yet, it doesn't quite ring true. Anyone else find this applies to them? Any thoughts? IP: Logged |

Hey CrazyAquarian,Hmm, why do you think that is? It seems some people on this forum are already feeling things, or are usually very tuned in to what's going on above or within. And I feel that I'm also open to being in tune. I find it frustrating that I can't really get in on that. Do you check your transits on astro.com? I'm still new to astrology (maybe approaching intermediate) so I am terrible at analyzing transits. Is there a site that will produce reports? IP: Logged |

I don't buy into Sunsign Astrology, and so I take those sunsign astrology forecasts with a great grain of salt.------------------

Beata,if reading these forecasts, I usually do it just for "entertainment" purposes, they are really much too general;
the only one I find to be highly interesting and usually valid is the one ViG is posting here, I think it is by Anne Ortelee. But she describes rather the general mundane influences than really indiivdual forecasts.
But then again to do an individual forecast you need to take the whole chart into account. Not just the sun, Moon or ASC. IP: Logged |

i use Anne Ortelee's forecast as reference normally, but in the last 2 weeks things have been so precisely corresponding with my life events, it's too much! she has to write something super nice and good now so that my life gets better.  IP: Logged |

it works best if you read it according to your rising sign and not your sun sign. her forecasts are really based on your rising sign and where the planets fall based on the house/sign overlay. IP: Logged |

Gemini with Virgo rising, here. I read and love Astrologyzone. Only have good things to say about it. But the more I read, the less I identify with the Rising sign readings. The Sun Sign forecasts, however, are always spot on for me. IP: Logged |
