I have watched "Inception" in the cinema. Needless to say I was beyond impressed. It is a subject I have been fascinated with and resonted with me since I was a child.
Well, it the second subsequent film I have seen dealing with similiar issues. "Repo Men" being the first, and actually ties into "EXISTENZ" from long ago, too.

I do not want to tell too much, but one question that t his film raised has bothered me quite some time, too.

Why can`t we remember HOW a dream started?

I mean I am sometimes aware of falling asleep, but there is this gap between entering that dimension and when I (my conscious memory) reaches the dream.
Have I just forgotten the beginning?
Have I jumped into the middle of something?
If that is true, is that the case, BECAUSE the "dream" is running constantly, even while I am awake (and thus mainly in a different dimension)?
Is that why I can`t remember the beginning?
Because there is none? (at least not every night), because it just is present all the time like my day-conscious life?
How do you experience that?
Does anyone else sometimes feel (not in all dreams though), th at they are not just dreaming, but basically entering another dimension?

And if you are dreaming, are you dreaming YOUR dream or have you fallen in someone else`s?
Or maybe, the question could also be, WHO is dreaming you?

There is that scene, that really resonated me yesterday, which could mean that I am either very sensitive or paranoid (maybe a bit of both. Even though somenone else`s paranoia may be my reality of experience. )

And that is when Leo turns to the camera and sais that he has come back to bring a message (he is telling that to a character of course, but it is like he addresses the audience, too) and he sais: "This world is not real."

I know this is very Matrix-like, but still. Probably it just resonates with me, cause I always had the same feeling. This world is not real, or not the whole reality. I do believe this world is very much real, but the world is much more multidimensional than what is commonly perceived as reality.
Do I make sense?

Besides, I always resonated strongly with Leonardo di Caprio anyway. Not in a crush-like way, more in a family-kind-of-feeling.

I noticed that he has been born on the 11th november 1974 - so he basically is just one month older than me. But those two eleven`s I found to be interesting.
I also thought his development is remarkable.
First he did really outstanding stuff as a child like playing the mentally handicapped brother of Johnny depp in Gilbert Grape or this explosive scene he had with Robert 'De Niro in "This boy`s life", when his character is standing up against his abusive stepfather.
He was so amazng in it.

And then happened: Titanic.

What a major disappointment!

But lately the stuff he has been doing seems to have matured.
I really gained something (not really enjoyed) by watching "blood diamond", and definitely by watching "Inception" yesterday.

I am really curious about his astrology, especially his spiritual side; I wonder about the occult asteroids in his chart.
Unfortunately I cannot put up his chart here. Maybe someone else could?

EDIT:
Intersting Freudian Slip. I picked the wrong spelling for the title.

How great that the girl was being called ARIADNE, as it was only through Ariadne`s help that the hero Theseus could find a way out of the labyrinth of Knossos.
Of course he then deserted her on the island Naxos, where Dionysos picked her up and made her his queen.

Hanakin,

I actually was asking something astrological.

Anyway I do not have the time to look at your chart right now, as I am actually at an internet cafe and not at home.
But if have a doubt about the relationship, then you should get to the ground of your deoubt without astrology I think.
Is it a certain insecurity because you ahve been burnt by your last relationship? Or is the doubt basing on something in your current interaction?

i havent read all your post yet i stopped some way near the begining.

forgive me if my response is too premautre,

but i began to thnk of what you eventually wrote - joining into something that was already there.

if we think of dreams being something that is 'running' in our subconscious, constantly, then perhaps when we sleep what becomes 'dormant' in our conscious part of our brains, picks up on the subconscious while our 'conscious' side sleeps.

and then we join a 'reality' that our subconscious is a part of, our conscious parts join a fine line between sub and conscious, and we see or undertand our subconscious's language, which reveals its self in a dream?

i think something similar like this is happening, because IF our subconscious, or whatever is responsible for our dreams, was something that starts when we go to sleep, then i'd see more reason that our dreams 'begin' just like a normal day of us 'waking up' but we wake up in our 'sub conscious'.

but this doesnt seem to happen, i think it might possibly make sense and go with how our existance, time, and reality is, there isnt a known 'begining', if there was a birth, we don't know how the universe 'birthed' for certain, much like us as babies don't until our parents and creators tell us, where are our 'creator(s)?'

anyway, thats going off.. point is, it is likely something that just keeps going, has no begining and no end. we just 'tune in' to something that is already there in the subconscious? hence we can have several dreams in one night without realizing where they began or ended?

im actually a person who 9 times out of 10 doesnt remember any dreams if there 'were' any.

i feel like i sleep and just wake up, as if no time has passed but hours actually have.

i rather like it) thats my ideal of death, just nothingness.

people will have to forgive this post if they think i have no idea what im talking about, if you could tell - i am not very informed in this subject or its field!

Letram,

yes, that was similiar to what I have been thinking.
After all our life also starts BEFORE our conscious memory sets in. Or can someone consciously remember their birth?

i could tell you the 1st thing that came to my Mind:

...you+re right:this is like the Matrix really...it was a movie, but not just that....

many people now are really coming to the conclusion that all this is the Illusion.and the Real Thing is only ourselves..

circunstances are neutral...to see if we´re in Alignement or not with our Higher Self.so many times you dream, you wake up and surprised you feel " wow...the dream seemed so real, and yet here i am feeling that the "Now" is not that real..."

bashar says: "the only thing real is the experience of the reality.not the reality itself.there is no"out there".

it´s as simple liek that...not simple but...ive been into this in the latest times and im really discovering this by personal experience.

Leonardo Dicaprio surely have been into reading the same books, meeting specific people too...that is why he started to make these kind of movies

i admire him even more.

listen to some Bashar videos if you have time...you´ll know what i mean..and the book, just takes Busting loose from the money game to really start entering the Rabbit´s Hole.

Leo has the same birthday as Demi Moore

They say that people with Sun in Scorpio are naturally drawn to occult, mysteries, metaphysical stuff

he was born on the 11th day, and that is a master number birthday associated with ultrasensitivity, intuition, metaphysical orientation, and great potential including potential to be in the limelight. 11 is associated with inspiration

actors/actresses tend to have strong Neptune influences any way. they probably have strong transneptunian influences (well..many do have strong Pluto influences)

it seems that many actors have done movies that have occult, metaphysical themes

I was born on the same day as Winona Ryder we're both born on October 29, 1971
29 is a master number birthday and has similar traits of the 11th birthday such as ultrasensitivity, intuition, metaphysical orientation, and great potential including potential to be in the limelight. The 29 is associated with more idealism, sensitivity, and introversion.

Winona Ryder has been in movies with occult, metaphysical themes

When I was growing up, I wanted to be involved in show business as a actor, screenwriter, and director

I first got this book, YOUR PSYCHIC POTENTIAL by MJ Abadie back in 1998.
she wrote the following:

People with flowing profiles tend to be artistic and creative. They are often in the theater or film, and many Flowing types are professional psychics. They also lean toward the helping professions--psychology, healing, and the use of the intuitive arts. They are motivated by compassion and their acute understanding of the sufferings of others.

MJ Abadie is an astrologer, and she wrote a few books.

A lot of celebrities including especially actors get criticized by people including people that are into the metaphysical field when they get involved in metaphysical things, but their charts are very similar to the charts of people that work in the metaphysical field.

Many celebrities probably keep their metaphysical, occult interests to themselves because want things in their life private.

Glaucus,

yes, I figured that the 11 may play a vital role in that.

Diandra,

actually that is what I once wrote many many years ago. That it is the experience that determines our reality.

It was when I was wondering about emotional issues, about loving someone you never met for example.
Before I would also have said it is not possible, but the emotions (though certainly different from SHARING with someone) are undeniably real. They are being experienced, and that emotional experience shapes a person, their expectations, dreams, hopes, fears and yes, it can scar.

Everyone "reasonable" would say that this is just silly, as there never has been a relationship, but the emotional impact is there and it has consequences.

That led me to the thought that it doesn`t matter if something seems realistic or not, it is the emotional experience that matters.
(for the emotional development of an individual).

Ooo... Very good point. I like that.

Actually, there is supposedly a person who can remember absolutely EVERYTHING from their birth on. I vaguely remember watching a show on it.

I don't remember a lot of the details, but essentially this person has something wrong with their brain in that they do not filter out unnecessary details and so their brain files away EVERYTHING. It can actually be debilitating for the person because there is just SO MUCH going on in their brain. But... Like I said, I don't remember a lot of the details about it. I wish I could tell you more.

By the way, I loved Inception! It was awesome.

As far as Leonardo goes... I actually started practicing guessing sun and moon signs on him several years ago. Initially I thought he was a Libra, but when I saw The Aviator, I realized that he was a Scorpio. Turns out he is a Scorpio with a Libra Rising and Moon, which is why I was confused. Beyond that though, I haven't really studied his chart in-depth much...

and without giving any logical way i came to the idea,

Life is a dream, Its only real when your here.

*that may not be as simple as it sounds, based on the individuals point of view.

Once in a dream I saw a man and it wasn't a romantic dream but we were like 'We have to meet again!' and that's how the dream ended !!!! We just walked away from each other on a busy street and I woke up feeling weird.

It was as if he was a real person, dreaming my dream !!lol

But I think it was just my imagination and I'm a scorpio too but still :/

And to think if you stayed in the dream it would be as real as this because you wouldn't know any better.

This one is confusing cause so many influences put stock in it.
