I just looked this up.
Mars is our drive to defend ourselves. Without a strong Mars we cannot navigate our way through life.
Mars represents our boundaries-I think. It says "I start here. I end here.
"I will keep safe and secure the part of existence which is me--myself".
If you see a dog with a bone--that would be Mars lol
It knows what is his. It goes after what it wants.It is amoral in that it is a drive not an ethics part like Jupiter,I think.
It is pure drive. This is hard for me, personally, cuz I was supposed to be "above" drives.
I was supposed to be a head and no body
I was "taught"(imbibed) that being a girl meant having no drive(or a disguised one) and no sexuality(for sure lol)

Pluto is the planet which is the underworld psychologist--you could say.
It wants to show you your seven deadly sins
It wants you to look at all the things that polite, nice social people should never look at and never have lol.
When , these 2 planets are in conjunction, you have a LOT of energy.
You have it in the house of career, honor from society, reputation, house of the mother.
My book says that people with this conjunction will,often, shut down their power in childhood cuz it is too much power.

They feel overwhelmed with what they see(Pluto) and their own strength /drive (Mars)
I think it would be harder for a woman than a man, too.

So, people with this conjunction in the natal chart must take it out and deal with the strength inside themselves.
Speaking personally, I find strength (Pluto and Mars) MUCH harder to deal with than other planets.
In fact, I find all other planets easier to deal with than Pluto and Mars.

The book says that you MUST mine these strengths or they could go underground/turn inward in to other emotions such as inner anger, bitterness, resentment.

I turned mine inward so I know of what I speak--unfortunately .

I am just doing it now.
If your Mars becomes impaired and cannot defend you properly when other people hurt you, you go down, badly.

Mars is like the cell membrane that keeps the cell intact and whole, it seems.

It is not a value judgment(good or bad) if you defend yourself.
You MUST.
If I could put all my life problems in to one sentence, I would say that my Mars lost it's power.

If you weren't adult, I would say that you are CHILD WONDER (like Mozart was).

The book you have must be something special.
My other opinion about you and your explanation:
you have half from your book and half from your head.

YOU ARE NATURAL TALENT FOR ASTROLOGY!

About my Mars and health: it has, because Mars squares my Sun. Any planet in hard aspect with the Sun has something to do with health. Mars (in Leo) here is for the muscles. As my Sun is in Taurus, this muscle (one) is in the neck.

I was talking with my Austrian friend (her Natal Chart is here in the Forum) and she asked me to read her from the Cards. She is totally crazy about one man, who doesn't like her. Unfortunately with reading from the Cards, I have no idea.

Proposal for you: why don't you try to read from some Cards (Tarot, Gipsy, Lenormand)?
I knew one man, Scorpio sign, who knew all (in Gipsy Cards) what happened to me, until the time he was reading the Cards.

IQ is doing a chart for me. I think his no nonsense, direct approach will help point the way.
I think the charts are God's gift to us to show the way, steer us away from problems, pain, hardship.
I wish I knew about Astrology, earlier.
I guess when you know about Astrology, you still have to follow it which can be hard, too.

The orb:

Sun is at 6'46 Taurus
Mars is at 2'10 Leo
Pluto is at 9'26 Leo

So, the Sun is between both of them.

I have done Mars Return and have no idea, how to explain it. I just like to do the Charts: Saturn Return, Jupiter Return, Venus Return, Mars Return and Mercury Return. To explain it is some higher school of Astrology.

In my house, it was quiet, no yelling, but emotions were beneath the surface for SURE lol
I had to dress conservatively.
I had to be refined, nothing strong or loud, no loud joking, strong emotions.
Mars is the POWER to claim what you want.
A person is entitled to make of themselves what they want : to go out in the world and claim what they want if they don't violate others and if they do what is generally right.
A healthy Mars goes for that.
I guess it is your power. It is not right or wrong in itself.
Other parts of you deal with right and wrong.
Mars is simply drive.

Life will not work like this. I can attest to that to anyone, anytime.
You will pay for pushing Pluto down cuz he comes by in transit and then he gets you
I guess if you have natal Mars conjunct Pluto in Fixed signs, you simply are a powerhouse type of person.
If you are a Plutonian person,my book says you must look within, face your WORST impulses, emotions, desires, passions etc and make peace with them.
That is what I am trying to do as we speak.

Your Sun in Taurus(Ego) is pitted against a powerhouse of energy(Mars conjunct Pluto) in a fixed sign.

First time I have found rulers of the houses in other (or the same) house (the book from Catherine Aubier), I have seen:

not all what shines is the gold!

Look here:

Ruler of 5th, Uranus has 90 with the Moon in the 5th: bad!
Ruler of 6th, Neptune in 12th has 180 with Mercury in 6th: bad!
Ruler of 7th, Mars has 90 with the Sun in 7th: bad!
Ruler of 12th, Mercury has 180 with Neptune in 12th: too bad!

What is good: Mercury, ruler of 9th has 60 with Uranus in 9th.

The best house for me is the 8th house, even if there is Algol, but my Venus has separative aspect with Algol: it has run away!

When you see the strength from the aspect, it means the smallest orb at all on the top(like 0 or 1 orb).
The weaker strength, the bigger orb is, but the aspect is still there.

About rulers: I have seen that first time in the book from French Astrologer (translated) and thought: that is right for me. It is not all only in the aspects.

You can find rulers of the houses in the houses by Cafe Astrology. There are not many Astrology books with the rulers of the houses.
It is used by Medical Astrology or by love (where it comes from).

She lose her whole leg because she got cancer. She have 2 children. The powerful strenght which shows when she fight on the way was fascinating to see.
