I'm new here and I'm going through a difficult phase in my life, I'm leaving a toxic marriage with an abusive (emotional, verbally and at times physically) Leo on the Cancer cusp, and all my self esteem and confidence was undermined the 20years I was with him...

Right now I desperately need to get a career going, but seem to totally lack self confidence to get me over the hurdle to where I need to be. I have a tendency to self-implode, shoot myself in the foot... I have children depending on me and cannot afford to drop the ball this time...

Astrology is proving to be a valuable tool for me, it's helping me to feel more comfortable in my own skin as I learn more about myself and accept myself more completely.

Sun trine Pluto, I got this aspect and its taken me a lifetime to figure it out lol..it does show the propensity for abuse or power struggles but due to it being in the 11th, possibly you met him through friends?
In any case, this is a great aspect to have. You have a natural power within you and due to the trine, its through going through these life changing experiences that transform and evolve you as well as giving you the kind of understanding that cuts through the surface.

I know people with their sun and Pluto in a square aspect and usually the results are not good as they cannot integrate this strong power and execute it in self destructive ways.

Pluto also heals through pain, you're probably a natural healer as well as have the natural resilience to be able to regenerate and heal yourself.

Your sun and moon are in a harmonious aspect, to me that says you're pretty emotionally stable and are able to process your feelings adequately without them threatening to overwhelm you. Considering your moon is in the 2nd house, I bet nothing makes you feel better than security and maybe possibly spoiling yourself when you need a pick me up or feel like you deserve to reward yourself.

As your 2nd house is ruled by sagitarrius, I'm guessing that its when you expand your mind by learning something new (its quite obvious through this post when you mention astrology as a tool to learn and understand yourself better, Pluto aspecting that shows that you want to dig beneath the surface and get to the core) and also that you like to travel.

I get the feeling that when you learn something and have given yourself the gift of a higher level of understanding you see the value of it and see acquiring knowledge as worth its weight in gold.

I don't think I'm very good as interpreting which is why I don't say much around here, as there's so many fantastic astrologers on here who can do wonders hahaha but I do believe I've been here long enough to start making contributions lol
