I like to be comfy. Always jeans. And usually a t-shirt, love hoodies  I have a bit fancier clothes that I love but sometimes won't wear them cause of the comfort level. Nothing too flashy since I hate being the center of attention. But sometimes if there is that sexy dress you love  LOVE heels lol Boots oh yes. But still wear sneakers and causal shoes. I tend to get clothes my favorite clothes purple, green, blue, also got some white, gray, and black. In terms of a "label" I'm a mix, I could look one way one day and something else the next, but I also have Uranus and Neptune in my first house  ------------------

Today I'm wearing skin tight 20 yr old jeans, timberland boots and a White tee with Ayrton Sennas logo.
Today is unusual though lolMy wardrobe is diverse. Most of my clothes are 20 yrs old as are my shoes. They all look brand new because I look after them. I love velvet long skirts, denim skirts, smart chic sexy with an individual edge.
I have some incredible shoes and I love thigh and knee high suede and leather boots. Refined 5/6" highs.
I am crazy about well-cut jackets and clothes. Azzedine alaia or galliano are my face two vintage designers. I love all materials and I use them all to effect.
I am never conservative and yet also never slutty. Mix and match. Never wear tights nor flip flops, crocs or any other flat shoe - only converse trainers and my timberlands  I have a sock and apple catchers phobia lol IP: Logged |

Benedict Moon*, i don't get my fotos taken very often. but lucky you, a friend of mine stole this shot at a booooring party (you can see that in my expression no?) and just sent it to me last week, though it's from some months ago. she made it all orange for some reason (i guess she was going for the sepia-look. maybe i should take it as a compliment that she felt the need to "vintage-fy" my photo, lol). just imagine all the colours are in the range of aubergine/burgandy.one thing i'd criticise about this combination is the sweater. this is one sweater i have that's very tight-fitting, which is not period-appropriate. i dug it up from my burlesque doll days. i used to have round glasses with black frame too, but i lost them a few months ago.  they made me look so lovely dorky. i got to find a new pair like those again! nowadays there's a trend for vintage styles, so it's become easier to find shoes with the right heel shape that i like. my Saturn is in my 9th house, in Virgo. i think that's why i go obsessively for this old-timey look. i was almost too shy to post my photo, but why not. oh i feel so narcissistic…

I really don't think the ASC. would suggest your fashion style. First off I know many Sag. ASC. (I'm one) who dress well, but not as lavish as myself. So perhaps where and what sign your chart ruler is in or Venus, would lead to more insight? In my case my Jupiter is in Gemini in the 6th and my Venus is in Gemini (7th) as well. I mostly wear vintage clothes and I'm a sucker for men that dress in suits and I prefer classic styles as opposed to sporty and casual. Plus I'm a Leo Sun, so jewelry is a must! But as far as designer, etc.. I could care less. I'm not gonna lie that I get lots of attention due to how well I dress. IP: Logged |

i adore & wear vintage stuff, anything from the 1920s/70s. i mostly wear black or darker colors, but i will wear obnoxious patterns/colors if they strike my fancy. i have quite a few colorful flower tattoos on my shoulders, upper arms and back so i don't like my clothes to clash with them.
when i wear modern clothes i gravitate towards marc jacobs or something similar, retro looking.
i'm also very picky about my jewelry, it's all vintage and i love bold pieces, huge rings, lots of mexican sterling (30's & 40's preferably) and art deco era costume pieces. if it's weird or unusual i want it and will wear it, no problem.
most of the time you'll find me in heels of some sort, usually at least 3 inches (or taller).
for makeup i only wear black eyeliner, applied like cat eyes and some lipstick. i've been blessed with good skin so even at almost 40, i don't need any foundation, just powder.
i have learned that if it looks good on everyone else, it will not look good on me and vice versa.
you will never catch me in sweat pants (even for working out, yuk..) unfitted t-shirts, cheaply made, ill fitting or boring clothing, or looking sloppy in public.
i'm usually what others term overdressed, but to me it seems normal.
i am a cap sun with cancer rising (but i'm sure my venus in scorpio is somewhat dominant in this area)

Oh wow, lechien, I love it!  The tint choice your friend used was very fitting too. And yes, I would think going retro would be a Saturn/Sag/9th house combination.

I'm inclined to agree since I don't fit the Cappy Stereotype for dress, but I fit my Venus and Chart ruler placements perfectly.

i ADORE people who dress well. not superficially, but people who take care of themselves well, you know what i mean?likewise, i love punks. HOT. i wish my partner still dressed like back in the 80s. he thinks he got too old for that. lol oh yea speaking of, he is a Virgo with Capricorn AC. he was a punk with a touch of "class". he wore his grandma's old round glasses and her lady bloomers as underpants. after the long punk life, he became arty stylish and nowadays he just dresses like a bum with lots of plaid cuz he has no money. Vertiver & BenedictMoon,So perhaps instead of focusing on our ASC placement we should look at: Chart Ruler/Chart Ruler Placement

Well I don't want to spout it as the rule of thumb, its just what I know works for me. But yeah IMO, the Ascendant is just the outer demeanor and physical appearnce...while perhaps Chart Ruler and Venus say more about dress. Especially since Venus rules your personal tastes. IP: Logged |

I love my winter uniform of dark jeans and Pineapple hooded, zip up at the front tops, in baby blue, grey/pink or black, with a tiny touch of sparkle on them. Oh, and smart black heeled boots. And no, I am not into sport at all, I just love the feel and the comfort of those tops.

Its really image for me to project a clean and profesional image.I'm partical to dark colors, a lot of blues, some red and black. Seldom white. I mostly were golf shirts, Just to be a bit casual while still trying to give a clean look and image. Otherwise, when it comes to work always dress shirts and a large briefcase. I always rember the line on the simpsons. "A man suit should make him feel like a king, Don't judge me Love me". Its funny but true. I think its important to always look clean and profesional, You'll never know who you'll bump into. Espically, in a small city such as Ottawa. Toronto is a bit diffrent thought. ------------------------

I hate clothes. I hate what they represent, how they can be used as a status symbol etc. I wish being naked was mandatory. Then there'll be no provocative clothing or it's evil opposite - too much covering up. Then what you see will really be what you get. Literally.  Aqua Rising. IP: Logged |

Yeah, Meta_4, I'd say the chart ruler and any planets or the cusp of the 6th house can lead to more insight. Supposedly the 6th house rules clothing? That would make sense why I dress in such bright colors and so flamboyantly with Jupiter in Gemini in the 6th... IP: Logged |

I'm either a tomboy or a real girly girl. So I'm found in either Converse type shoes with jeans or cargo pants and with a feminine top, or in a pretty dress. I wear red really really well, but I like to wear light greys and greens and turquoise (stone and coloured) jewellery. Don't like wearing black. I love my black boots though. I call them my Jedi boots so I'm in Jedi mode when I wear those. I like the feel of soft fabric and won't wear hard materials. Even my jeans are soft. I like cotton but hate synthetics. It has to be pretty spectacular for me to buy it if it's synthetic. Oh, and I absolutely LOOOOOVE wearing hats.Aries AC conjunct Sun, opposite Uranus. IP: Logged |

Ascendant Libra! I am almost always in black (and less white, like a nun). I like sporty clouds. I like paints (good quality) and also nice blouses; if possible, silk. I like also black dresses but only in a special occasion. Before I used to wear dresses in brown and green colour. In the last time, I have started with other colours: rose, light green (safari) and light yellow. The best for me is the colour of my face. People say that I am always well dressed. That is my Libra ASC. I like other people well dressed as well. B.
