I have the trine and I can relate to the 'sponge' part of what you all are saying. If I let my guard down, then random people don't respect certain boundaries; they start either pouring out their problems to me or projecting a bond that was never there. And Raymond, I didn't see molecules, but I always like drawing things in thin air with my finger...LOL. Parents tried to get me to stop since they thought it was so strange. Mom is pretty detail oriented at some times (moon is in virgo), but also completely clueless at other times. I wonder if that's neptune making me see her that way? IP: Logged |

Here's some more questions that came to mind..... ~Do you feel that because you are so sensitive that you are clingy? ~Do you look for extra assurance from loved ones? ~Feeling the need to turn to someone when you are upset? ~Dependency? ~Is it hard for you to handle situations in which you are close to emotionally? ~When it comes to your emotions does it give you that Pisces deep/spiritual part? (Given that your moon is in a air or earth sign) ~Do you feel that your emotions are misunderstood by you and/or others? ~Is is hard for you to talk about your emotions? ------------------ ~Believe~ IP: Logged |

"~Do you feel that because you are so sensitive that you are clingy?" No "~Do you look for extra assurance from loved ones?" No "~Feeling the need to turn to someone when you are upset?" No "~Dependency?" No "~Is it hard for you to handle situations in which you are close to emotionally?" Yes "~When it comes to your emotions does it give you that Pisces deep/spiritual part? (Given that your moon is in a air or earth sign)" Not sure how to answer. I have Moon in Pisces too,and My Moon square Neptune is only 1'23 orb, and I also have Moon oppose Saturn/Neptune midpoint with 17 minutes of arc due to my t-square of Moon square Saturn-Neptune opposition "~Do you feel that your emotions are misunderstood by you and/or others?" Yes "~Is is hard for you to talk about your emotions?" Yes....I have Moon squine Mercury with 10 minutes of arc. Squine is 105 degree 24th harmonic aspect (it belongs to the same family as the quindecile which is 15 degrees and the contraquindecile which is 165 degrees). It's a hybrid of square and trine.I also believe that my Sun in 5'20 Scorpio and transneptunian dwarf planet candidates Ixion in 5'25 Scorpio and Quaoar in 2'22 Scorpio trine Moon 3'11 Pisces can indicate that there is ability for me to express my feelings easily..like through facial expressions, gestures, tones of voice, dance, and poetry. I also do it well through letter writing. My Moon also sextiles Sedna in 2'06 Taurus R (in Right Ascension, the orb 39 minutes of arc and part of a wedge. I have Sun oppose Sedna with 44 minutes of arc in Right Ascension). ------------------ Raymond Andrews, President,Executive Director of Developmental Neurodiversity Association Supporting the Neurodiversity Movement A Different Mind Is Not A Deficient Mind. http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=131944976821905&ref=ts IP: Logged |

Do you mind if I answer, even though I have the trine? ~Do you feel that because you are so sensitive that you are clingy?
-No. In fact, its the reverse. I have to take care not to be clingy in case of rejection. ~Do you look for extra assurance from loved ones? I did in earlier days, but I've stopped now since it feels useless. ~Feeling the need to turn to someone when you are upset? I do feel that need, but I have trouble opening up. ~Dependency? What kind of dependency do you speak of? Financial or Emotional? Im gonna go with emotional, in which I've already mentioned that I'm kind of withdrawn these days. So "no" is the answer. ~Is it hard for you to handle situations in which you are close to emotionally? Yes. ~When it comes to your emotions does it give you that Pisces deep/spiritual part? (Given that your moon is in a air or earth sign) I don't know how to answer this either. I'm a Virgo Moon (8th house) but my emotions are intensely moved by anything from good songs, amazing books, and wonderful stories. And they have no boundaries (I'm an empath). ~Do you feel that your emotions are misunderstood by you and/or others? Yes. ~Is is hard for you to talk about your emotions? Yes. IP: Logged |

Here's some more questions that came to mind..... ~Do you feel that because you are so sensitive that you are clingy? Probably. When my bf leaves on trips, I cry because I feel so alone. ~Do you look for extra assurance from loved ones? Yes. ~Feeling the need to turn to someone when you are upset? Yes, although I am capable in solving problems on my own. I'm scared of situations where I'm so emotional that I would make an impulsive decision on things. I would talk to someone when I'm calmer to see if there are alternatives to my decisions. ~Dependency? Some. ~Is it hard for you to handle situations in which you are close to emotionally? Definitely. ~When it comes to your emotions does it give you that Pisces deep/spiritual part? (Given that your moon is in a air or earth sign) Actually, my Moon is in Pisces (water sign). I think that it really affects my spirituality in that I feel something more higher, less material. I like that my Moon really enables me to empathize with others very strongly. ~Do you feel that your emotions are misunderstood by you and/or others? Definitely, and my Chiron in Gemini is not helping, either. ~Is is hard for you to talk about your emotions? Depending on the people whom I'm around with, but yes. It is difficult for me to talk about my emotions.IP: Logged |

This is a good description I got from Clairvision Astrology. Thank you for asking about this...:-) It's amazing how strong this aspect is... In Sidereal: Moon (Leo 15°04’)IIIrd Neptune (Sco 19°25’)VIth wan. app. square (90°00’) orb: 4°21’ Moon square Neptune (orb: 4°21’) Keywords Exceptional sensitivity, highly plastic and changeable, psychic abilities. The Moon is related to water and earth elements. Neptune raises its level of vibration from down to earth to more imaginative and spiritual dimensions. Moon-Neptune: 2 watery energies combining into the most sensitive of all planetary blends Fantastic imagination. Intense dream life (superlative dreaming, even with eyes wide open). Easy access to the unconscious. Dreams of ideals. Romantic dispositions. (Think of John Lennon, Moon-Neptune trine). Can become emotionally indulgent at times. Highly plastic (superlative water). Impressionable mind. Highly changeable and multifaceted personality. Potential for great compassion. Ideals of love. Extremely psychic The plastic psyche is particularly good at tuning into things and people. Good at opening. Visions and psychic abilities through great opening-if one can go beyond the vagueness. Angel connections. Need for merging. Edgar Cayce, the ‘sleeping prophet’, had a Moon-Neptune conjunction in the Midheaven. Possible pitfalls of the Moon-Neptune association Difficulty separating the conscious from unconscious material. Self-delusion. Confusion. Dreaming beyond limits. The dreaming can become escapism, and the person may withdraw into a reality of his/her own. Danger of fooling oneself. (In terms of the Clairvision work, this is a combination for ‘missing bits’.) Both the Moon and Neptune are, by nature, better at blending than at doing. If there is not a push from other planets (the Moon-Neptune of Cayce was trine a Mars-Jupiter conjunction), there may be a danger of sinking into a purely introverted disposition without concrete realisations. The Moon-Neptune combination can result in prepersonal features Old, atavistic clairvoyance. The need for opening and merging. Tendency to form symbiotic relationships. May find it difficult to discern if what one feels comes from oneself or from other people, that is, discern between your emotions and someone else's . Risk of acting as a sponge for the vibrations of the environment, in particular the astral environment. If the person experiences being swamped by doom and gloom without any apparent reason, it is likely they need to learn how to protect themselves better from their energetic environment, and more generally from the global fluctuations which regularly sway the consciousness of the planet. Unclear sense of one's own boundaries. IP: Logged |

Hi! I also have this placement so I thought I would chime in. So much of what others have written rings a bell. I am still in the beginning stages of learning astrology and have only begun to understand my chart but I have felt for sometime my moon was one of my hardest placements. I have: 6th house Moon in Pisces square 3rd house Neptune in Sagittarius. I was excited to see another poster has a similar placement and I can relate with a lot Glaucus said. I never knew my biological father and I have all kinds of mother issues. She is a real mess…drugs, alcohol, depression…and I struggled growing up with her. ~Do you feel that because you are so sensitive that you are clingy? Funny thing…I am not clingy at all in fact I am a bit too aloof. ~Do you look for extra assurance from loved ones? I think that extra assurance is something that I desire and need but for some reason refuse to ask for it or admit to it. ~Feeling the need to turn to someone when you are upset? The only people I ever really vent to are my best friends…all three who are Pisces…hmmm ~Dependency? I find it difficult to depend emotionally on others. ~Is it hard for you to handle situations in which you are close to emotionally? Yes, I am very prone to depression. ~When it comes to your emotions does it give you that Pisces deep/spiritual part? (Given that your moon is in a air or earth sign) I feel very emotionally connected to my spirituality. It is something that has to be a part of me in order to live a fulfilling life. ~Do you feel that your emotions are misunderstood by you or others? Almost all the time ~Is is hard for you to talk about your emotions? Yup!I also have: 6th house Moon in Pisces square 3rd house Venus in Capricorn. Going to have to do some thinking about that one…I am sure it isn’t good!

LOL, me too. I was a really strange kid, I used to do stuff like that, including putting pressure on my eyes when they were closed so I could see shapes. My mom was also sick and my eyesight is BAD. I think the way this square has affected me is by going to extremes, either im REALLY emotionally dependent or i'm REALLY emotionally detached.
