Dear Glam,
I am only looking at the synastry.
His Mars is on her Venus.Also, there is the Uranus moon connection which is powerful attraction.
Then, there is my all time favorite--lots of planets in the 12th house.
Due to the 12th house, they will "know" each other just by virtue of their being lol

The 12th house deal is one sided so the 12th house person is probably really uncomfortable around the planet person.

I know about 12th house synastry and yes it can be deep, but it depends....

Some say planets that fall into the 12th house dissapear... for example my friend has Natal Mars in the 12th house and she never sleeps with anyone.

Natal is one thing. Synastry is a total other thing from what I hear and read.
You will confuse the issue if you confuse the two.

It's very attractive overall, but Glam - I think you may become critical of him as time goes on.

There are times when you might see him as a naughty little kid, taking stabs purely to get your attention. (Venus conj his Mars)
And other times when his ego is too much for you to swallow..You might feel like he is *missing* an entire dimension of the world which you see clearly. (Scorpio Moon/Uranus square his Sun/Venus in Leo)

:edit: I am just thinking maybe it is a bit too much Leo for you. You kind of complement each other (I may have said this before about the same guy, or perhaps it was a different Leo).. because you lack earth and fire, while he lacks air.

Sometimes this ^ works well.. and sometimes it doesn't.
Because your Mercury is un-aspected (You are a Gemini so Mercury is important) - and further.. his lack of air -- at times you could see him as a little "slower" mentally. Do you feel like you have to explain things a few times over for him to understand what you are getting at?

Dy-this is not the same Leo but I do remember the comments on the other. On the slower mentally thing, I guess I could see that a little bit.

The other discussion about 12th house...are my planets in his 12th or vice versa?? I had never heard of the uncomfortable issue in that area either!! We'll see...

And his sun is barely in Leo..almost Virgo and that would square our suns

Well I've never felt uncomfortable around him for one. We've known each other since we were teens...first loves. I think with his Leo pride/ego, even if I felt like I knew him and how he felt...there's always that front he would put up to guard his heart! lol he does have mars in cancer after all!

The guy is a Star Seed type, look at his Sun conjunct REGULUS. He could be prone to depression with such a heavy 12th House.
You both are karmic soulmates [Amazing Ascendant Match!] but is the relationship for you to learn spiritual lessons or to be happy in love? Mars-Venus conjunction will help in the love/passion department but there is a Moon square Mars as well.

IQ- I'm just as confused as I was before, ha ha!! Karmic soulmates for....I'm not too sure. We were first loves for one another in high school but still make contact every now and then even after 12 yrs. I've realized now as a woman, he's what I would have wanted as a husband but I didn't want all those qualities as a child with him as my boyfriend. Kinda confusing....
