I am seriously fed up with this pathetic crap now.
Why should I put up with this deranged persons anger and bitterness toward me just because he can't pigeon hole me!

She can't stand seeing your posts get a lot of attention and that people are genuinely and thoughtfully answering your questions and they really like you, this is what eats her up. from what I've read, Ami asked you not to post in her theads because she finds your comments offensive but you still do it and thus upset her and provoke her friend WingedLeo, why do you keep doing this? Maybe you should simply stop posting in their threads if you don't get along? I think this was Randall's advice to you. IP: Logged |

It is a public forum and she can post wherever she likes.. on whichever thread and express her opinion. There is no ban against this.
It is simply not the thread starter's prerogative, on a public forum - to prevent others from replying and expressing their opinion. Neither is it the prerogative of the webmaster to demand someone no longer posts on particular threads -- Which is why - this: "I think this was Randall's advice to you."
-- was in deed an "advice", which the poster can take or leave, and not a demand.
What happened to freedom of speech? -- However I do think that the way in which the opinion is expressed is in a particular tone - that ends up being instigating. And this should change. IP: Logged |

I personally don't find it silly. I myself used to refrain from posting in the threads if I did not get along with the topic starter. Other knowflakes do it too. It is not about freedom of speech at all, it's about common sense and not provoking a fight because you know beforehand that your opinion is not welcomed or needed and may cause a hostile reaction. I just want to say this;I read the other thread and it did a lot to me in a negative way when I read your first comment about the INANE question and the RATIO you brought up regarding 'glad to be born because etc. etc.' afterwards. Some people are NOT glad to be born and they have enough reasons to feel that way.
Some people do not deny life & their FEELINGS and they are often more in contact with their whole body than the ones who agitate against the so-called 'negative ones'. Life Lara, is so much more than 'pressing the reset button in the brain' so that the person has a cleaner flow of energy running through them.

I edited that as I didn't want to offend anyone with the "silly" comment.. Because at the end of the day I don't think I should be labeling behaviours as "silly" simply because they don't suit me.

It is a public forum. Her opinion was welcomed and needed by me. It was welcomed by Teasel - and I am sure it was welcomed by others.
The people posting on a particular thread are not posting ONLY for the thread starter.
They are posting for anyone out there who cares to read their opinion. The TONE of her post however - was patronizing in parts. This is what I see as unwelcome. Also - There is a difference between posting ON a thread regarding the topic -- and -- directing your post towards a particular person. If that particular person finds your advice unnecessary - I agree that there is NO point in directing posts *towards* them. But that does not mean you should not post your opinion ^ regarding the thread topic. IP: Logged |

Peri. If someone not see things on the same way as me I'm happy they say that to me even if I do not agree. Maybee I also feel me angry in the beginning but I start the process to think about it and can find my own answer.

It IS a public forum but you would think that anyone with consideration for another person would RESPECT that person's wishes when they were said nicely and respectfully. Lara does not wish to do that. I just want to make it known that I told her repeatedly that I do not wish to engage. I feel badly for Randall that people cannot figure out simple rules of human engagement without bothering him . He told people to stay away from people who bother them.
If Lara does not care for me--Stay away.
Randall ALREADY told you this, Lara.
Winged Leo came in cuz YOU violated what Randall already said.
Think about it. Have some respect for Randall, too.
