Okay, here's some background....Today, approx. around 4:30-5:00, I was feeling very depressed and I decided to do some bloodletting which always calms me down by draining me of excess emotional energy. I tied a tourniquet and was about to do venepuncture when I decided to put on some music (don't ask ) and selected Ludwig van Beethoven's Fur Elise. I couldn't do it and it wasn't for lack of trying. Somehow, the music countered whatever energies were jarring my energy body. What I ask you is this:
Is there any astrological basis for what I just experienced? As if the harmonius energies of the planets were somehow distilled into the symphonies. Your opinions are both welcome and respected ------------------ Damaged Love, brought us together... IP: Logged |

I thought bloodletting went out of fashion in the dark ages...I think this is beyond Astrology, unless a transiting musical Muse Asteroid conjunct your Ascendant or Moon. Well, your Higher Self guided you to a better way. Beethoven, Bach, Mozart etc were not ordinary human beings. They were incarnations of a Soul Group called the "Gandharvas" in Vedic terminology. Celestial Musicians, playing celestial instruments for the Love of the Universal God. They incarnated on Earth for whatever reason, and found solace only in the 'closest to celestial type of Music' they could write. Closest to the Music of Celestial Spheres, inspired by a raised Kundalini Ebergy. As far as we ordinary humans are concerned, their music is Divine. It brings us closer to the Universal God/Param Atma, it raises our vibration and hence can transmute negative energy to positive. Know that there is always a better choice to substitute a negative act or feeling. Choose to explore positive options and you will always overcome depression. ------------------ http://tamsoft.co.in/articles.html

Told you, don't ask...it helps drain excess energy for me. quote: Well, your Higher Self guided you to a better way.
Sure did, and I'm not complaining Oh, and I've been downloading classical music all day...and I found a cure for my insomnia too. I had 5 cups of strong espresso in my system but still Bach's Ave Maria put me to a sound sleep. quote: I think this is beyond Astrology, unless a transiting musical Muse Asteroid conjunct your Ascendant or Moon.
Tell me which ones to look for and I'll check up on them and report back...post back ------------------ Damaged Love, brought us together... IP: Logged |

Hey Soul Sister, that classical music is good for your soul. I bought myself a new CD last week and have been listening to it going to sleep on my I-pod. Good harmonic vibrations create lovely crystaline images ... to form structures ... like beautiful snowflakes. That's what you are FrozenQueen, a beautiful snowflake. "Well, your Higher Self guided you to a better way" I agree complete Listening to yourself and try to find out what the life want you. When you are ready you know and work on it. The next time is always the same the higer self want to guide you again. I know that because in my year I got through that again and again. Some people fallen so deep that they must going to the hospital and get help. I've always tried to find out what the lifes want me and it have always helped. My inner guide or higer self always always worked out well if I listening and find out what's wrong and makes change. Sometimes it's takes time to me to understand and I must remind my self about how it works. IP: Logged |

Dear Frozen Queen I am really glad you shared this. I think, and I may be wrong, that you have SO many feelings built up,plugged like a dam. The cutting allows you to come out of the numb for a short time. There are ways to let the right side of the brain release trauma and you can heal for good. This would be a longer term solution. In the short term , Kundalini breathing helps everything--depression, lack of energy ,insomnia. Look up the dog pant breath. You can sit on the floor, crossed leg and do it to music. You can work it up to an hour or as much as you can. At the end of that time, you are relaxed and have a natural high lol I am here for any help. Ami PS You are probably under really bad stress with your decision whether or not to leave school so everything is probably intensified ------------------ To will to be the self which one truly is,is indeed, the opposite of despair.

That sounds wonderful. I tried to fall asleep to a CD designed to make one fall asleep to classical music, and it didn't work for me... that was about four/five years ago, though. I do love piano music, like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fuq9DRqUla0 IP: Logged |

I thought you were mad at me on one of the other threads I am glad you are not! Can you get msn? I can see that light on or hear the sound when someone gets on. It would be do easy to talk that way.If you can't /don't want to--that is fine. We can talk on here. I don't go on Yahoo anymore unless I plan which is hard for us--especially when we have different time zones. Keep reaching out ,now. Don't worry about sounding silly/dumb/ whining lol You really need to keep reaching out. It would be easy to go in to a hole ,now, for you, I think. If you don't reach out, crazy ideas will seem real! Ami ------------------ To will to be the self which one truly is,is indeed, the opposite of despair. IP: Logged |

I thought you were mad at me... This is so hilarious it's ceased to be funny now...now that we are seeing it. Which is the case with all misunderstandings when you look at them in a fresh light. I can already see all other Knowflakes, not to mention elementals, angel beings and spirits doubling over out of sheer laughter. Anyways, ------------------ Damaged Love, brought us together... I also forgot to note that you have 8th house aries mars squaring that neptune (the rest of the stellium too, I realise) and I think this is very indicative of your impulse toward release. In personal experience, neptune in contact with mars or venus also points to artistic expression or release. You have outer planets (impersonal, collective energy)in virgo's house ruled by capricorn. I always think in my own mind, that the organisation, discernment and habit of virgo is a pillar enabling the sum of human deeds to come after until it dissolves again through pisces. Virgo energy is very spiritual. Just my own thoughts here. I do love the symbolism of astrology. IP: Logged |

Ami, I meant to respond to you in other threads but didn't have timing on my side. Thank you for the compliment, I think about this symbolism a lot but I can only offer my experiences so I am never confident to really give advice. Besides, I am a skeptic with way too much science in my background. I think you are a wonderful person, I see you responding to others pain in an effort to help and I wonder if, when your boundaries are stronger, you will do even more. Thank you, twice. IP: Logged |

You made me cry ,Ursa. I want stronger boundaries so badly. I don't know why it so hard to heal trauma. It seems like it goes so slowly to get one small step up, like walking through molasses. Thank you so ,so much for what you wrote! Ami

Ami, I will respond again later when I have some quiet time. I have become a firm believer in making huge mistakes in an effort to project myself outward. Doesn't mean I am good at it but if I learn something about my own territory in coming up against something outside of me, all the better. IP: Logged |
