Sun conjunct Mercury exact: Always thinking, always analysingNeptune conjunct ASC: hypersensitive, sometimes bordering the psychosomatic, "hearing the grass grow", active and colourful dreamlife (not only at night), easy access to meditations or visualizations (it seems to come natural to me); very receptive to other peoples (emotional) energies, even to places. Venus square Pluto: a reserved or somewhat hidden / controlled passion; hard time letting go, getting totally immersed in something (not only people, but also hobbies, just that I do not have hobbies, I have obsessions. ); need for kathartic experiences (internally) - this fits with Meta`s description of "tearing down and rebuilding myself over and over again".
My three CLOSEST aspects are though:
Moon quinkunx Saturn: 0°09 Mars sextile Midheaven: 0°12 Neptune conjunct North Node: 0°13
(Juno trine Saturn: 0°01)

Uranus conjunct ASC exact:I can't stand being trapped. Somehow eccentric. Openminded.Interested in occult and mystic.Slightly unusual appeareance. Hate when people are telling me what to do or how to behave or where my place is. Idealistic. Revolutional.Moon opposition Uranus (Moon in 7th): Mood changes.I'm torn apart between my emotions and my wish to be free(of everyone). When I'm in a relationship I want to break up, yet when I break up I want that person back. Restless. Shift between a desire to socialize and solitude. Venus square Uranus: An absolute commitment phobe. Prefer long distance relationships. Can't stand clingy people or boredom. (I get easily bored). Want to experience something new all the time. Uranus is everywhere in my chart. Really. Like I've said it makes me very restless and even accident prone. I want to change the world, to create something significant. "Venus square Uranus: An absolute commitment phobe. Prefer long distance relationships. Can't stand clingy people or boredom. (I get easily bored). Want to experience something new all the time."I have this aspect too... I so desperately want nothing more to be in a stable loving relationship and be completely committed to one person (I guess my Taurus moon) but this damn Venus conj Uranus in Scorpio... Grrr! I have never cheated, I usually end the relationship before that happens... For the last 5 yrs I have just given up on dating/being in a serious relationship...

Sun conjunct Venus (in Taurus in 1st house):I am attracted to things that are very esthetically pleasing: from people to nature to animals to landscapes to a genuine smile on someone's face Venus trine Mars: I kind of base my existance on finding love, thinking about love, thinking about things I love, and I have an "all or nothing" approach and devotion. Anyone who won't commit fully or show enough attention to me, or won't be reliable won't interest me, and when I do fall in love I fall crazy head over heels in love with the person. Venus Sextile Saturn: I am ultimately loyal, faithful, and devoted in love relationships.....ARDENT. I also have a fear of rejection, and worry that the partner will drift off after I have shown full committment and given my heart to them. I picked Venus aspects b/c that is how I identify........although one trait that really describes me is my Aries Moon, although it isn't aspected..........I'll hav to leave that for another thread topic. EM,I know what you mean. I am soaking up the emotional athmosphere of people or places, sometimes so much, that it gets painful. Not to mention that it sometimes gets confusing as to how I personally feel and how others. It might be one of the reasons I avoided crowds in my youth. It was too much. I am also very sensitive to sound and light. Lights are usually too bright, and noise can become literally painful. I am one of these people who almost wince and jerk when the traffic gets too much or there is a bang somewhere (Even if it is only a door being shut rather loudly).

OMG DD, me too! the elevated trains in my city make me wince and burn on the inside. i can't take it. i just get so overwhelmed. oh and sirens?! eek! i feel like i am going to crack into a million peices when trucks come down the street. i definitely think i need to live near a quiet body of water. i'm thinking of the pacific northwest...seattle, portland etc. i have always slept like a feather. i wake up when someone even walks towards my room. i start dreaming as soon as i close my eyes. You guys are talking about Neptune conj. Asc???? Well, I feel I have some similar aspects to you guys, but I don't have Neptune conj, Asc...... although I do have Sun oppose Neptune........ I, too, don't like loud noises, abrupt, sudden loud crashes, banging noises, crowds, chaos, disorder. I hate traffic and I hate waiting in line for anything. I hate crowds and I will try to avoid them as much as possible. When going to an event, I try to go at a time when I know the crowd will be minimal. What about bright lights? I am sensitive to them. I sleep lightly too and am easily awakened. Hmmmm just a sensitive in general? Here's a big one: I get distracted very, very easily in a noisy place, so if someone is trying to have a conversation with me, then I am totally distracted and can't focus on them speaking to me at all. I don't have any Mercury afflictions at all, except for Merc sq Mc.......... IP: Logged |

yes yes and yes. i have mercury square MC as well. orb is about 1'15 degrees. when i am in a room full of people its like i become the room. its quite exhausting. but i have jupiter conjunct ascendant too, super tight orb. so i love being in crowds and being the center of everyone's attn. i watch and here and feel everyone that comes into the room. very very easily distracted. bright lights don't bother me so much...oh wait, i lie. strobe lights, flashing lights like on police cars or ambulances...immediately take me into an altered state of consciousness. its very scary when i am driving. I am gonna have fun asking some questions , if I could . DD--you have Sun combust Mercury in Sag. You described a little of it. Is it an uncomfortable feeling like you can't separate your thinking process(Mercury) from your ego/sense of self (Sun)? If you care to elaborate, I would love to get a better, more specific sense of it. Thanks so much.

Peri I would like to ask you a few questions ,if I could. I have never heard of someone talking about Sun conjunct IC. Could you elaborate more on how it feels to you? Is it like you are pulled back to home all the time and can't seem to leave it behind? Is it a sense of carrying the weight of the past with you? Mercury Square Saturn. I see Saturn as cold water, dampening something. Do you feel like a shroud if thrown over your thinking? Moon conjunct Neptune Is this a sense of a kid whose heart is dreaming dreams of imaginary places and wonderful otherworldly things? Do you like Disney movies and things like that? Are you a romantic when you are in love--like hearts , flowers ,love songs lol Ami

EM and Nephtys,I hear the sirens long before anyone else. I hear electric fields. We did it as a joke in the Netherlands, I was telling my parents if the TV was on in some house further down the road (not too far away) and whe they checked through the window, I was always right. They also tell me that I was hearing the sirens as a child many minutes before they did, sometimes even before the dogs barked. But I do not really hear them, I sense / feel them. Ami,
I always read that,b ut I cannot relate to it. Maybe in the sense that thinking and selfexpression goes hand in hand for me? I am always thinking, I am definiing myself through my mind to a big part? I donīt feel like my thinking is only revolving around me, though I am very curious about myself. lol, but my Self is very much shaped through my thought pattern.

DD and electric mind,I can relate to all of that that's why I said "easily stressed from being overstimulated by environment, situations" under my Moon square Neptune In the special education field, they give it the label "sensory integration disorder" or "sensory processing disorder" and that's a common thing for neurodivergents including especially people on the autistic spectrum. I really don't like the labels sensory integration disorder and sensory processing disorder because I don't view ultrasensitivity as a disorder.
Ever since reading the books about highly sensitive people by Dr. Elain Aron in 1999, I don't think of high sensitivity as something to be ashamed of. I don't even see it as having anything to do with being female, gay,or mentally ill which is what many people think of people like us,especially if you're male. A problem with society is that females are expected to be highly sensitive, but males aren't. For the most part, women aren't usually attracted to high sensitivity in males, favoring a more macho quality. I think my very strong transneptunian influence overall probably reflect my ultrasensitivity. I think Sedna especially. That seems like am amplified Neptune with dose of Pluto in the mix.

This is interesting EM. I can feel it in you, I think. I am wondering what Pluto conjunct ASC is sometimes perceived as "good" by the person i.e easy and sometimes "hard" You have it Meta and you experience it as hard. What do you think?
