I'm loosing faith in astrology, this "relationship" had pretty good synastry yet 3 weeks after my b-day and SR - this last Saturday, he breaks up with me because he "doesn't see the relationship going anywhere" and "he has always felt uncomfortable around me," yet that didn't stop him from forming a sexual relationship with me.

Perhaps he is a jerk, like everyone else had speculated. I also need to avoid Leo Suns for good, cause it never works out. I'm not sure if being a Leo Sun and thier Sun falling in my 8th house lends to feeling uneasy around me?

I need some astro guidance! Will I meet someone worthy of my affections, according to this years SR?

Your SR chart shows love, love and more LOVEE

Maybe he was meant to go so you can meet someone else. SR ASC in your 5th along with the ruler in 5th..

I wouldn't worry about it, you have better things coming your way..

2 leos most of the time don't work out. Even I don't get along with male Leos in relationships because there's only room for one King/Queen... and it definitely aint him

What about Solar Arc aspects?

BelgZ is right. Two Leos have a poor track record in working out a good long term relationship. You will surely find someone better.

That's true! I've the same birthday as you Vertiver with the difference that I've never felt attracted to any Leo male (perhaps due to my Aqua-Mars & Venus/Moon in water & asc/merc earth?)
It's indeed the King/Queen-story that intinctively turns me off.
There's a very introvert part in me (Sun 12th) that will be snowed under by the more extravert Leo which at the same time makes me more introvert AND frustrated because then I can't express my REAL Leo-nature (which I still AM).
Any Leo-placement in the romantic sphere always seemed to be too much - a little miracle that I'm now in relationship with a Leo-ascendant on my Sun.. is what I sometimes think.
But well, that's just the ascendant which actually makes me smile a lot because he seems to act like I sometimes wished to act or behave (without any shame) - an expression of who I am on the inside is what I see in front of my eyes (by a Pisces-Sun )

I never look at Solar Returns so unfortunately can't help you with that.

I'm sorry to hear vertiver... there is no astrological advise I can throw out there (I'm still really insecure with my Astro info) but how are you handling it all?

Anyway, I don't have faith in SR... for 2009 I had 4 planets in the 5th (if I remember correctly) and it was the worst year for love for me...

I am very sorry about you being dumped.

I also want to add that a good synastry doesn't guarantee a lifelong relationship.

I had a good synastry with my exgf Meghann, and she dumped me April 2, 2008. That was the last time I heard from her.

Free will is the ultimate factor.

your Solar Return has a t-square which suggest emotional, intimacy issues which could reflect your breakup. Your Venus trine Ascendant and Juno conjunct the Imum Coeli suggest the possibility of a new relationship.

A lot of people think that they have good synastry, but they tend to overlook certain aspects...even a t-square.

take for instance in my own synastry with Meghann

My Ceres forms a t-square her Venus square Ceres.

I didn't think that it was important. Mainstream astrologers wouldn't think it was important. Ceres is very highly underrated in Astrology.

Now, Ceres is Pluto's equal in Astronomy now. They are both classed as dwarf planets. Ceres is 950 km in diameter. No asteroid comes close to that size. Technically, Ceres may not even be an asteroid. It's now being theorized to come from the kuiper belt that Pluto is part of and even may have been one object with Pluto. Ceres has a very similar composition as Pluto.

as you see, Ceres is no mere asteroid even though mainstream astrologers treat it like that. Ceres gets a lot less respect than Chiron which is almost 3 times smaller than Ceres.

any ways...now I realized how much of a challenge that Venus,Ceres,Ceres t-square was with Meghann. Her attachment to her man-disliking mother was a big factor in the problems in our relationship. That fits right in with that t-square.

A lot of men are jerks and treat women like crap any way. It is said males aren't even naturally suitable for monogamy because of their high levels of testosterone. The higher the testosterone levels, the less likely that males will be monogamous - that's what science says. Most women are drawn to men with big penises. There is nothing wrong with that. That's just human nature. Scientists say that men that are more feminine actually settle down and more monogamous and viewed as more of suitable parent by women. The problem is that these feminine men aren't often viewed as romantic partners. There is a natural attraction of females being attracted to "bad boys" and reject the nice guys that seem to finish last. In mythology, Aphrodite/Venus loved Ares/Mars instead of Hephaestus/Vulcan. What goes on in society seems mirror that mythology. That's just my view.

I really don't think that it's all about Astrology. I think that there other factors like genetics and socioeconomics.

Sorry to hear about that, vertiver. Leo men can be very egotistical. You'd probably be better of without him. A lot of the Leo men that I've known have been like that. Except for my current guy- he is sweet as a kitten and maternal as any woman I've ever met... still not lacking in manliness though. XD So not all Leos are bad in relationships. Just give it time- you will meet the right person if you stop looking.. i know it sounds cliche, but that's how it always seems to work.

Glaucus, the last paragraph was definitely true about women being attracted to "bad boys." I know many women that are like that, and then when they guy leaves or cheats on them they act dumbfounded. o.O

Not all women are attracted to bad boys though. Not me. I can't stand men like that at all actually..

Dear Raymond
How good was your synastry with Mehgan, if you could quantify it?
What were your really good aspects, if you care to say?
Thanks,

Ami

The thing is this guy was not a typical Leo Sun whatsoever, he was pretty nerdy and slightly moody/ uptight, which was probably explains his Cancer rising/Gemini Moon, he also has Saturn in the 5th, which sounds pretty my way or the highway. But the synastry wasn't that great, now that I think about it. My Sun was square both his Mars-Jupiter conjunction in Scorpio and my natal Mars was square his ASC. talk about tension. He was also a 6 years older, so he is 28 and I'm 22, there is a huge gap between having relationship experience.

I'm just having a hard time not thinking about him, that really is the hardest part.
