Does transiting Karma conjuncting an angle like asc/desc or IC/MC trigger an event?

I would look for more signs from the transit to check if something is likely to happen. I guess that one aspect alone doesn't always trigger an event, but an important event usually has more than one strong sign.

Thanks for your reply. I also have other aspects including North Node transiting this angle so I am wondering if a fated event is coming my way.
