I have checked during exact aspects of my progressed moon to my natal planets and have not found to correspond with any important times of my life except for once when it was conjunct my IC I moved back to Australia and I didn't see my parents for 2 years.

It will conjunct my MC in a few months, not that I am expecting anything but has it worked for you?

Does the progressed moon show an accurate timing of events for you?

Hi all, this is actually first post from me - the topic was so interesting that i finally had to reply.

I've been following my progressions for several years and two times they have been working like a clock. First time was when my pr. MC changed sign and the other was when my pr. moon conjuncted exactly my (natal) DC - that was the day my father died. Sounds scary probably, but i dont think that pr. moon necessarily brings bad news. However i would expect something significant happening when it conjuncts an angle.

Would be interesting to hear if anyone else has experiences of pr. moon conjuncting natal or pr. angle

When my brother was born my progressed moon was conjunct my progressed Venus in 12th.

Tangerine, your discussion of progressed planets on the day of your father's death intrigued me.

On the day my father died, my progressed Eighth House cusp was 21º Aquarius. His natal Sun was 21º Aquarius. My progressed Fourth House cusp was 14º Libra. His natal Moon was 14º Libra.

P.Moon = Saturn transits for me.

Since I was about 14, I've had t.Saturn cnj my p.Moon. They move at similar speeds and have been strolling together, Saturn in the lead.

The cnj will finally go exact next May. From that point on, my p.Moon will take the lead and eventually escape t.Saturn's grasp.

The exact cnj will occur at 11 Libra, cnj my 12th house cusp at 12 Libra. Nothing ominous about that!

Jane,

Saturn chasing the progressed moon isn't a bad thing. Many people have it for years and peoples greatest accomplishments happen during those years.

I have been looking into this alot the last few days and realized when there is a birth or a significant event progressed moon is in good aspect to progressed Venus. (not solar arc) though it's usually close by anyway.

My progressed moon will conjunct my natal mars and sextile my progressed Venus next year .

Personally, I find that transit charts correlate more with outside events that happen to us whereas the progressed chart usually has to do with our internal states and how we are reacting. For instance, when my progressed Moon went into Pisces I became more emotional and empathic. Now that it's back in Aries, I've noticed that I'm reacting to outside events more like a typical Aries Moon (brash, impulsive, enthusiastic, etc).

When progressed moon went through my eighth is when I developed anxiety about dying lol. I also had it progressing through Taurus and I was saving alot of money that year and decided to settle down and set up a new home which I only lasted one year in anyway. I moved out of there the day my progressed moon wnt into Gemini. It's still in Gemini now and it will go into cancer soon.

When it was passing through my 5th I met Ferdi and then when it was progressing through my 6th I was working 2 jobs and then I got married when it went into 7th. When it was in fourth I moved overseas.

I'm not looking forward to my progressed moon goin in cancer either. It just makes me think of emotional soppiness and whinging whiny cancer

kfn327: I had to check my progressed 8th house cusp on the day too, and found something interesting: no connections to my fathers chart, but the cusp of 8th house was squaring my natal moon exact!

My father died earlier this year and the T-square transit of this year has been hitting my moon in the beginning of Capricorn. The jupiter&uranus conjunction in June (in the beginning of Aries) happened exactly on my pr. 8th house cusp and all this was squaring my natal moon. The exact transit happened about week after my father died, but i think it was effecting then already, the progressed moon pointed the exact day. So a lot of natal/pr. moon action, must say!

Raspberri: I'm very unfamiliar with Sabians, but i checked them for my pr. moon (23,05 Aq) that time and it was: A Man, Having Overcome His Passions, Teaches Deep Wisdom In Terms Of His Experience. I guess death could be one way of overcoming ones passions...

Interesting subject.
-When Moon conjuncted my natal MC it was around the time I started dating the Bull (probably the biggest love of my life). I also participated in a student exchange program in the city I currently live.
-When it conjuncted my progressed MC, I started working at my current hospital, which I enjoy very much.
-when it conjuncted my progressed DC, my parents split (but I should mention that at the time, in my progressed chart, Uranus was on MC in opposition to Venus on IC)

My progressed moon is in Cancer now and I haven't noticed any emotional changes because my moods have always been really unstable. Not even the expression of them has changed...which is zilch expression. They're still churning under the surface while I keep tight lid on them.

I would have to think for a while on events though. How long does it take for a moon progression to go through a sign? I remember two or three years ago, my Moon was in Taurus.
