I have a friend who can be pretty hard to get a read on or to figure him out. I've asked a few mutual friends who agree that it's best to just leave it alone but I want to know why?

We've known each other for several years and just when I think I'm starting to understand him, he throws me for a loop and I'm confused all over again.

He's the type who will tell you how he feels but it's hard to get any really deep info from him. He's also been great at helping me and has always been there when I've needed him. But just as I think we're getting close, it's like he retreats and I'm left thinking "what's happened?"...

He's told me not to worry and our mutual friends says he has alot of respect for me, but I'm wondering if this type of personality is from all of the Virgo in him and his Aries moon. What do you guys think?

If he's difficult to read which I definitely am, he's probably strong in the big transneptunians discovered in the 21st century (Eris,Makemake,Haumea,Sedna,Orcus,Quaoar,Varuna,Ixion) like I am.
Eris,Makemake, and Haumea are officially equal to Pluto in Astronomy. All 4 are classed as dwarf planets. Eris is even larger than Pluto.

I'd be more than willing to check out his 21st century chart for you if I had all his birthdata.

Glaucus - Thanks for the laugh and input! I don't have his exact time and had to use noon when I created the chart...

When I think on this some more, it's like he has two very different sides...there's the balanced/fun one and then there's the troublemaker who isn't afraid to shake things up...which isn't like most Virgos I know

I've noticed that whenever I'm around him and it's just us, I get the feeling that his energy gets more serious and deep (if that makes any sense) instead of the balanced-care-free-who-cares-about-what-they-think attitude that he has around others

Definitely confused about this one...and yet I always feel a pull towards him

His Haumea is in 12'50 Virgo, and that is conjunct his Sun. That's well within the 3 degree orb that I use for big transneptunian objects.

It's a transneptunian dwarf planet like Pluto.

It's named after the Hawaiian Fertility Creation Goddess.

It's known as the most unsual object in the solar system because it's an object that shaped like an egg, cigar,or football and it is as big as Pluto along its widest dimension and has a 4 hour rotation which is extremely rapid for a big object. Pieces of it broke off to form its 2 moons and indepenently orbiting objects called Haumeids. It's mainly stone now because a lot of its ice was broken off. The Goddess, Haumea was associated with stone and its children were born from being broken off from her body. That's why Haumea object named after the Goddess. It was also discovered in Hawaii. That was another reason it was named after a Hawaian goddess.

Here is more information on Haumea.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haumea_%28dwarf_planet%29

The following is from Philip Sedgwick:

Dwarf Planet: Haumea (Santa Claus /136108 / 2003 EL61)

Orbital Period: 285.31 yr., with two moons, Hi'iaka and Namaka., 3rd brightest KBO (Pluto #1), orbital period w/Moon about 3.9 hours, cigar shaped object because of fast rotational period, 1200 km diameter? Hawaiian creation goddess.

Positive: Soulful confidence, an unshakeable personal inner knowing, creative, regenerative. Able to reconstruct, redefine, transform, especially regarding consciousness, willfulness and restoring rock solid integrity. Supportive. Fostering. Fertile. Creative.

Negative : Insecure and attention demanding. Dramatic. Egocentric. A bully disposition. Forces head-on collisions. Claims martyrdom and sacrifice to secure attention. Willing to attach to someone else’s momentum or allowing dependent sorts to attach to one’s efforts for self benefit (using non-paid volunteers, fans, devotees).

Mundane: Self awareness programs. Portraits and or caricatures. “Spin” as in political or media framing of events. Affinity or family bonds with those similar in nature. The Hula. The big island of Hawaii. Storm warnings to sailors in form or rainbow. Lava cooling in the sea to make land. Creation, fertility, childbirth and sisterhood. Verbal affirmations. Body sacrifice. Entourages. Groupies.

Ceremonial: Hulas, regeneration ceremonies, affirmations. Soul-based capitulation ceremonies (surrendering ego to spirit). Ceremonies in which a mask is removed (unmasking of the great Hopi kachina Saquasohuh).

Lunar bodies contributing to keywords: Hi’iaka, Namaka.

I am familiar with Haumea's energy. I have it conjunct my Ascendant with 2'11 orb and square my Midheaven with 3 minutes of arc.
One of the members here, Unmoved has Sun conjunct Haumea with 1 minute of arc, and that is the strongest/closest personal Haumea aspect that I have ever seen.

Alison Chester-Lambert wrote articles about it

http://www.midlandsschoolofastrology.co.uk/haumea_dwarf_planet_and_sacred_nature.html

He's probably strong in other transneptunian objects.

Moon was conjunct Eris on the day he was born. Without birthtime, we won't know if he has that conjunction. I only use a 3 degree orb for the big transneptunian objects. Of course, there was the Moon-Pluto opposition on that day too.

We don't know his Midheaven and Ascendant. They could be aspected by transneptunians.
